  1. As OS said, you attach rails to the MOE hand guards using MOE rails. then you attach whatever you want to the rails. Basically the same as M-Lock, but different rail pieces made for Magpul's proprietary MOE slots.
  2. Do you go to a Stylist named Zohan? I always tip my barber, who I call a barber.
  3. You can put an AFG on it. That's legal. That can help with the fore grip. Some people like them, others don't. On an 11.5", I think it's optional to have something that works as a hand stop, but if yours is shorter then I highly recommend getting something to work as a hand stop. I have long arms so it would be real easy to get my hand too far out front so I keep a Magpul AFG on mine, even with an 11.5" bbl. Something I don't know....would it be legal to mount a VFG on the side of the hand guard? I'm thinking 90 degree mount, like what you'd commonly find on an angle grinder or hammer drill. The device is sold as a vertical fore grip, but if it's mounted horizontally, is it still a vertical fore grip?
  4. I'd be stunned if that happens. Peyton seems to want a front office/partial ownership position with an NFL franchise.
  5. Yeah. That's legal. Goofy, but legal. Why not just get a sling mount if that's what you want it for? http://www.cabelas.com/product/MAGPUL-M-LOK-PARACLIP-SLING-MOUNT/2344351.uts?productVariantId=4706469&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=04513884&rid=20&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgZ_L-6SJ1wIVkjRpCh1nNQVjEAQYAyABEgIc__D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  6. Again . . . $14 MILLION to get rid of Butch . . . plus whatever UT has to pay the next guy. Unless a booster comes along and offers to pay a big chunk of that bill, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get another year.
  7. Yeah. Lot Lizards aren't known for taking cards.... J/K !!!
  8. Who said anything about under a coat? More than one TGOer carries an AK or AR pistol (or similar) in a small gym bag/backpack/racquet case. I guess that makes them mouth breathing dip#### assholes because they found a legal way to not be outgunned?
  9. You say you keep an AR in your truck for real problems. That tells me that you think a basic handgun is insufficient and would prefer to have an AR. Most folks on this forum would agree. If you could legally, conveniently, and discreetly carry your AR instead of the basic handgun you're acknowledging is insufficient for "real problems", wouldn't you? BTW, why the personal insults? I don't know if you're directing "mouth breather" at me or Dolo, but seeing as how you don't know either of us and Dolo's an American Hero with a capital H in my book, that seems more than a bit unnecessary.
  10. Just because it's not what you'd choose to carry for you and yours doesn't mean it's not right for someone else. Different people have different situations, either because of locations, physical impairments, personal relationships, employment, or something else. If someone could legally carry a Howitzer in their pants, who am I to say whether that's a good plan for them or not? I know that if I ever have to use a firearm for self defense, I'd rather have Dolo's mini Draco with a 30 rd. mag than a 6+1 .380 LCP every single time. Personally, it's not reasonable for me to carry something like the mini Draco, so I stick with "normal" carry guns, as most of us do. But I like to think that we'd all rather have something far more substantial than our normal daily carry if the time ever comes where we need it. Apparently for Dolo, the mini Draco isn't unreasonably inconvenient to carry and I doubt he'd ever be left wishing he had more gun if he ever needs it. Maybe a 75 rd. drum, but not more gun.
  11. AIUI, there's no maximum length of what a handgun can be, either in federal or TN laws. With no VFG, it remains a handgun so Dolo could carry it with his HCP. Because it's OAL is >26", he can add a VFG if he wants without needing a $200 tax stamp and NFA paperwork. When a VFG is attached, it becomes a "firearm" by ATF terminology. I assume TN would use the ATF definitions and not consider it a handgun if it has a VFG, making it a no-go for carry. As long as there's no VFG, I think he's good to go, but I'm usually wrong and Oh Shoot will correct me shortly. I think that some states do have a length restriction on carry handguns. I've heard that South Carolina limits carry to <12" OAL and Oklahoma is <16" OAL, but I've not done research to know for sure.
  12. Costco takes Visa credit cards, and most PIN-based debit cards. https://customerservice.costco.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/719
  13. Less. Most vending machines have Lexan windows to prevent someone smashing them.
  14. Lexan windows and some steel bollards would be about $1000-$2000 installed. That's hardly the sole purview of the rich and famous.
  15. I don't imagine it would have taken a whole lot to replace those glass windows with Lexan (or whatever today's equivalent is). It won't stop a determined thief, but would stop a smash n grab. Add in some steel or concrete bollards out front to prevent driving a stolen truck into the front door and you have some fairly low cost changes that contribute a LOT to security.
  16. I really like Subban. ESPN's E:60 did a great profile on him last year. I like that he's a little flashier than some of the old guard. The NHL badly needed his level of enthusiasm.
  17. Change those first two plays to "Eddie up the middle" and you have Jeff Fisher's playbook.
  18. A buyout might happen, but that would be a bitter pill to swallow. $14 million worth of bitter. http://www.knoxnews.com/story/sports/college/university-of-tennessee/football/2017/10/08/fire-butch-jones-buyout-contract-tennessee-vols-football-ut-volunteers/739577001/
  19. Yep. Even if they don't directly dictate it, they can coerce the states to setup carry the way the Fed wants it done. .Gov: "What's that Tennessee? You're not going to require annual re-certification with a minimum of 40 hours of training time per year like we asked? OK....how about we withhold $200 million from your Medicare (or roads, or education, or whatever) funding? Oh ... what's that? You DO want to comply with that request? That's a good little boy. Now run along and play in the street some more." That's exactly how we get fairly uniform seat belt and Interstate highway speed limit laws across all 50 states. This wouldn't be any different. I don't want F-Troop anywhere near this.
  20. Some of the tin-foil hat brigade think that's exactly what Iraq was for.
  21. Yep, and you won't need FA to pop him while he waters the grass. Mac's handi-rifle will do just fine.
  22. I agree with that first sentence, but I don't think the second one is true. The disparity between civilian-grade weapons and military-grade weapons today is simply too great for we mere civilians to overcome. The thought of going up against that with small arms, automatic or otherwise, is a fantasy. If we're ever forced to fight on our own soil against our own government, we'll have to use tactics that make SA vs FA irrelevant until we can scavenge enough of their equipment. Still, it's not the government's place to tell us what we can and can't have. That's supposed to go the other way around.
