  1. Caption: What haunts Bill's dreams.
  2. And just like the last time...everyone has to Quote the picture.... I guess I only have myself to blame. Sam1, there's a mud boggin' coming up at the Cheatham Co. fairgrounds (or maybe it was last weekend). You should show up with your ride.
  3. You should add a "3 eagles and the sun" to your collection. All the chicks love 'em.
  4. Pay the ticket, plus the late penalty, plus the DL renewal. You'll be good to go.
  5. It's Texas. I'm thinking the DA doesn't want a mark in the Loss column. I'd still bet on a civil case though.
  6. Kentucky Conan is from this old thread...page 3. Blame DarrelG for introducing us all to the happy couple. http://www.tngunowne...cs-only-thread/ Here's me from a couple of years ago at a TGO CHMR shoot bringing the power of 3 wolves. <<Photo by West Wind Mike>>
  7. Sorry guys. Someone had to do it.
  8. Nice pants, but aren't you a little young to be on an Internet forum?
  9. I use Peltor Tactical 7S. In an indoor range, or if a range neighbor is using a hand cannon, I'll use foam plugs under them. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/541841/peltor-tactical-7s-electronic-earmuffs-nrr-24db-gray
  10. Welcome to TGO, and soon to Tennessee. First, in TN it's a Handun Carry Permit (HCP). With a permit you can carry openly or concealed. Your choice. Second, you have 6 months from your move to get a TN HCP. Until then, your Michigan permit is valid. Third, TN recoginizes MI's training as "good enough for us" so you only have to go through the HCP renewal process. You won't have to take the class again. Fourth, Indiana and Kentucky also recognize Michigan's permit, so you're good to go all the way to The Promised Land. Just keep the long guns unloaded and secured. I don't know if you had to register your guns in Michigan, but we don't do that here.
  11. Good to know. There's something disturbing about a man in a pink snuggie holding an AK. And have you considered selling that box in the TGO Classifieds?
  12. Glad to see that you upgraded from a pink snuggie to some manly plaid sheets. The AK looks good too.
  13. Pics, or it didn't happen.
  14. Here's your "feel better about yourself" video for today. Not political, but still excellent. http://news.yahoo.com/video/oddnews-22772304/disney-refuses-admission-to-costumed-teen-29577467.html#crsl=%252Fvideo%252Foddnews-22772304%252Fdisney-world-refuses-admission-to-costumed-teen-29577467.html
  15. They're comparable in size, capability, reliability, and value. Both are readily available on the market if you decide you want the other at some later date. You said you like them both. This all adds up to: You won't go wrong either way.
  16. How would an interested person sign up for this?
  17. If it was a Glock, it would still work. It would have shot him in the butt when he reholstered it, but it would still work.
  18. Maybe David can update us on their status of becoming a TGO Vendor. I prefer to spend my money at shops that support TGO.
  19. He and Jesse and Farakhan and the New Black Panthers are better served by keeping it one step removed from full on open violence. A full on race war will have an ending, one way or another. This stuff they're pulling can be kept up indefinitely....and so can the revenue stream from it. they keep a can of gas in one hand and a fire extinguisher in the other.
  20. Thanks for the tip. I'll try to remember that the next time I need a good lead on some Colombian hookers.
  21. Any recommendations on an intermediate to advanced defensive handgun training class in middle TN? I've done the HCP class and am a decent shot standing still on a range. I want to take a course at the next level. Something that works on shooting on the move, using cover, rapid reloading, drawing from a concealed holster, etc.
  22. nicemac mentioned somewhere on here (maybe it was in a PM) that the one he built has Charlie's blessing, so it's the official one. It's also current. The "ridethatbike" one has outdated info on it.
  23. That's the old site. Here's the new one: http://chmr.us/CHMR/Home.html Closed every Thursday and the first FULL weekend of every month.
  24. You're in the 'boro and went all the way to Cheatham WMA? Definitiely try Stones River and CHMR. Both are closer and much better organized. More yahoos at Stones River than at CHMR, but there are usually plenty of RSOs keeping an eye on them. <<edit>> I see you know SRHEC. Try CHMR.
