  1. They didn't have to turn her into that for me. I always disliked her, from the beginning. Now she's nearly intollerable. I'm close to fast forwarding through the scenes with her, but I know that would make me miss out on some of the story.
  2. The only one more annoying than her is her sister. Fortunately, she has far less screen time. As for the latest episode, on the bright side, Walter and Jessie don't have to worry about the red-haired exterminator guy ratting them out to the cops. I'm pretty sure he's commited to the cause.
  3. From what I've been able to figure out (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken): Your rifle was made at the IZHMASH factory in Izhevsk, Russia. It would have been a SIAGA rifle that looks like the pic below. That's so it meets US import laws. Legion imported it. Then Arsenal took it and converted it to an AK-variant by adding in a certain number of Made-In-USA parts. AFAIK, Arsenal uses Legion as the importer for their SAIGAs to be converted. Arsenal does other things besides AK-variants, so they may use other importers for other products.
  4. What David said. TCA 39-11-611 has the basic self-defense law and the definitions.
  5. No, but I'd gladly submit to one if it meant getting that stupid song out of my head at the end of the ride.
  6. I just did mine in Nashville. $79 for the state and county registration/taxes. You'll also pay some for the tag the first time, IIRC. I think around $40 for that. If it's a new purchase, then you have sales tax on the $25K. That's different than the registration fee. Sales tax will run you around $1800'ish.
  7. $10 says Hickock45 could make that shot, so it's certainly plausible.
  8. Ding-Dong....Jimmy John's
  9. If you're not naked when you leave the strip club, yer doin' it wrong.
  10. The story suggested the TV's label came off and wast stuck to the Sig. Plausible, I suppose.
  11. Some people think He Walked On Water. But On The Other Hand, he should have been arrested years ago for being in that stupid movie with Meat Loaf.
  12. This seems to explain it: https://www.dropcam.com/plans Basic lets you view a live stream, no recording, but no fees either. It's basically a live webcam. Or pay a monthly/yearly fee for 7 or 30 days worth of recoded data. You won't need a DVR. The camera will connect via your Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to DropCam's servers and send them the live feed of images. Your mobile device or computer would connect to their servers to view the live feed, or past recordings if you have their paid DVR service. All you need is the camera, a Wi-Fi connection in range of the camera, and a device with Internet access to view it on.
  13. Nashville's Election Commission has the ballot on their website weeks (if not months) ahead of the election. Even if your county doesn't post it on their website, contacting the election commission could probbaly get a copy emailed to you. After that, I have to break out the Google-fu and check each candidate for the races I get to vote in. It's time consuming, but I feel that I have made the best decisions that way. This time around, I actually contacted a few candidates on the state income tax and the safe-commute bill. They all responded quickly.
  14. Every time I log on to TGO, calling a realtor from House Hunters International sounds better and better. Fiji sounds nice.
  15. That depends. What kind of pipe are you putting it on?
  16. He can sing "He thinks my tractor's sexyyyyyyyyy" to his cell mate.
  17. You'll have to get grits too. It's state law.
  18. Also here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/50743-dhs-funded-video-survive-an-active-shooter/
  19. I hate Comcast as a company. Total bozos working there. I can't call for anything without them screwing up something by either messing up my channels or my bill. That said, I'm happy with their product, if not their exorbitant pricing. There are times when OTA for the HD local stations plus Hulu+/Netflix sounds like a really good idea. The money saved would easily pay for the occasional series that has to be streamed for $1/episode from Amazon or the like.
  20. Produced by the City of Houston with DHS funds. Personally, I like the nice touch at the 0:59 mark. http://www.federalnewsradio.com/473/2966001/DHS-funded-video-gives-tips-to-survive-a-shooter
  21. All Regals (Providence and Opry Mills included) are all posted with a dime-sized gunbuster on the "rules" list. It's an 8.5"x11" sheet posted somewhere near each entrance. Some don't consider that "plainly visible". To each his own.
  22. True, but go ask random people on the street what the 17th ammendment is and not one of them will be able to tell you. Tell them it means they get to vote for their senators instead of them being appointed by the state legislature. They'll look at you like you're a total screwball if you tell them it needs to be repealed. It's just something that doesn't play well with the public at large. Only politically interested people will have a clue what it means, and that small portion of the population would be divided over it being a good thing or a bad thing.
