1. I'm in for Sunday. Saturdays are usually fine too, but that particular one is not.
2. We find new stuff all the time. Here's AZ State Uni's top 10 of 2012. Nothing as big as yeti, but remember that until 2002 there were no images of a living giant squid. For a long time they were just "Sea Monsters Be Here". It's possible that remote areas could be home to some pretty amazing creatures. http://species.asu.edu/Top10 That said, the image from the OP looks like a severly deformed human dwarf or child to me.

Logitech

The Logitech G5 mouse is my favorite mouse of all time. I'm tempted to try the newer G500 or G9x.
4. Daryl Dixon: Chuck Norris of the Zombie Apocalypse.
5. The guys are even funnier than the women. One of the better hidden camera pranks in a long time.
6. You guys had me all confused with the KFC reference. I re-watched the cabin scene 3 times trying to find it. That's funny stuff. Skipping commercials with TiVo has its downfalls.
7. I like his shoulder strap.
8. Nevermind.
9.
Metro doesn't destroy them, but they don't auction them off either. At least that has been their SOP up until now. Chief Anderson may do things differently that his predecessors.
I have a correction to make. Apparently Metro PD does destroy them. I have been told by an MPD officer that they get hauled over to Steiner-Liff and come out as sparkly confetti.
10.
Whatever they do will only complicate things further.
This.
11. I got 4 of those Maadis from AIM. 3 are good 1 is bad. I stripped them all down and cleaned them well. #4 is still bad. The spring is bent keeping the follower from moving through the magazine channel. I should have bought these instead. I may still get some. https://www.apexgunparts.com/product_info.php/products_id/2597

13. Be sure to check the details on your valuable personal property rider. I noticed yesterday that mines says I have to provide proof of purchase/ownership in the event of a loss. I'll be calling them soon to find out what would meet their criteria as things bought second hand don't have a receipt and may not have a bill of sale. Perhaps photos of the S/N would do since those can be stored in the cloud and not lost during a whole-house fire like receipts/bills of sale.
14. I'm glad to know that the FBI is trying to save our tax dollars by no longer having their own e-mail servers and domain name and relying in superposta.com instead.
15. Yeah, Merle's nothing if not predictable. I'm not sure why he hasn't offed the Guv setting himself up as king of the hill. Nobody tells Merle what to do....except the Guv.
16. +1 for a Shark steamer.
17.
It is required by TN that anyone over 10 years old that's not hunting family owned land to have the class.
Over ten and born after January 1, 1969. Old fellers get a free pass. The regular classroom classes are free. You can do it online for a fee. Either will require a live-fire test*. In the classroom setup, you'll do the live fire at the end of class. In the web setup, you'll need to find a live-fire event and go do that. Basically you'll print out a certificate from your web course and take it to a scheduled TWRA live-fire event where you'll get your official safety course card. On the link Sniper23 provided you'll find a list of both classes and live-fire-only events if any are scheduled. Remember that the people who teach the classes are hunters themselves, so you may have limited class opportunities right now since the teachers are all out doing "field research". *The "live fire" conisists of loading a single-shot .22 rifle and hitting a paper plate sized target at about 15-20 feet with iron sites. It's more about safe operation than accuracy.
18. Yesterday. It depends on direction. Westbound in the mornings or eastbound in the evenings is bad. The reverse is usually just fine except for the construction at Nolensville Rd/I-24. Once that's done it will get a lot better. Briley usually moves just fine any time of day. Traffic is heavy in rush hour between I-40 and I-65, but it moves along at speed limit to 10 over. I find the most congested point to be I-40 West in the downtown south loop approaching the I-65 (formerly I-265) split. Too many cars getting on I-65 north for that ramp to handle.
19. Metro doesn't destroy them, but they don't auction them off either. At least that has been their SOP up until now. Chief Anderson may do things differently that his predecessors.
20. Yeah, it's Metro PD doing the buyback. Also being discussed here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/55074-2500-dollar-general-gift-cards/
21. 840 wasn't really intended to be used from end-to-end (Dickson to Lebanon or vice-versa). It's longer in both time and distance. If you're passing through at rush hour you can avoid downtown with I-440 or Briley Parkway. 840 was meant to divert traffic entering Nashville and changing direction. Such as up from Alabama and then east to Knoxville. The long term plans are to create a northern loop that will connect from Lebanon up through Trousdale Co., Springfield, Clarksville, and back down to Dickson, but that may never happen due to having to build 2 very expensive bridges over the Cumberland.
22. I think there may be some confusion here over what constitutes a SHTF event. Richard, you seem to be thinking it's short term and will pass, like say from a regional natural disaster. Hold out for a few days/weeks and things get back to normal. If that's your definition, then sure, you can shelter some refugees/displaced if you have supplies to last everyone that long and don't mind having to pay out of pocket to replenish afterwards. a local tornado for instance, or regional flooding. But that's not what's usually meant by SHTF around here. Around here it means it's all gone and it's not coming back for the foreseeable future. In that case, +1,000 to Dolomite and xRustyx.
23. <<EDIT>>
24. Arsenal vs. Saiga is a misnomer. Stamped Arsenals (Like the SGL-21 and variants) are converted Saigas. You can do the job yourself and save a few dollars, but you can't go directly from the toy store to the range. Arsenals are already done for you so it's convenience that you're paying for. As far as quality, they're the exact same thing as a converted Saiga using quality parts for the conversion. It's a matter of balancing time vs. convenience vs. money vs. learning the insides of your AK. The OP is asking about a new milled option from Arsenal that I don't know anything about.
25. What about discharging a firearm inside city limits? Reckless endangerment? Dectruction of property? Someone needs to come up with every single charge they can think of and throw them all at this guy. Put him under the jail.
