  1. Who's to say that what you're describing isn't happening? They could have a really high turnover rate. They could get rookie drivers with wet ink on their CDL. Those drivers get wise and leave. Company goes back to the trucking school and gets some more rookies. Wash-rinse-repeat.  Finally someone decided to leave AND report it to the feds.   Pure speculation on my part.
  2.   Oh crap! I was right! I finally got the video to play.
  3. Don't know if this kit's any good, but PSA has a cheap way to get both blocks and the wrench: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/aim-sports-ar-armorers-kit-atarak.html
  4.   Can't get it to play right now. Is it Yackety Sax? The theme song from Benny Hill...
  5. I just see a picture of a sheet. Must have done a good job.  :)
  6. Maybe that was David's secret Black Friday Special.....
  7. I've seen Winchester SX3 shotties on the wall at Guns & Leather. Might give them a call to see what they have in stock. Their prices are usually very competitive.
  8. Some are, some aren't. Also varies by the caliber being cleaned. The snake for .22 is the same as for .223. That little bit larger diameter makes a difference. Super tight in my Savage .22, but moves with less effort in the AR. 12 gauge is easier to pull than the others to me. The snake is woven tighter in the smaller calibers making them tighter and harder to pull. Speaking of 12 gauge, I think id need a six pack of bottles to clean that one. Shotties get NASTY.
  9. He's fruitier than a fruit cocktail in a jam factory, but I have to admire his seemingly indomitable spirit. He's a person who is always trying to encourage others, ignores the criticism, and tries to find the good in everything and everyone. We could all stand to be a little more like him in that regard....but without the sparkly short shorts.
  10. I didn't mean it to come off sounding strong, just didn't want you to think that a TechNet code makes it a free-for-all. Personally, my current Win7 is the first non-pirated Microsoft OS I've had since the '90s and the only reason this one's legit is because I was too busy at the time to figure out how to pirate it. :where'sthatjollyrogersmilie?:
  11. I wish she made a set for my Rohm RG-10. That would be sweeeet!     Seriously though, some of those look really good.
  12.   Not that I care about pirating M$ software, but I'd be very surprised if your presumably expired MS Tech Net account covers distributing their products to another user. TechNet (and MSDN) is normally meant for evaluation and development purposes exclusively for the person/company with an active account. While I'm sure the code works it probably is indeed pirating.   That said...   Arrrrgh matey. :weneedajollyrogersmiley:
  13. Someone should tell Elton John. I don't think he got that memo.
  14.   It never seemed to hurt business at Palladium in Hickory Hollow.
  15. Anyone got any South African Krugerrands they'd like to sell me cheap?  :)
  16. Must have been mostly to the north and east sides of Nashville. Next to nothing out here on the west side.
  17. Two kinds of people make money trading currency. Professional currency traders Currency exchangers All others are lucky if they break even.   There are mutual funds that invest heavily (if not exclusively) in currency swings. That's the best bet for someone not in one of the two categories above. There's money to be made in it, but the risks are high and the returns are rarely impressive enough to warrant the risk.
  18. This. There's a currency exchange counter at the Nashville airport before the security checkpoints if you don't have a bank and don't want to wait until you get to wherever you're going. I'd assume they're more geared to exchanging incoming foreign guests' currency to US dollars, but they'll probably have a supply of the major foreign currencies.
  19. I'm in on PC, but haven't had much time to play. :( So far I like it, but have to keep in mind it's Battlefield, so all the good and bad that go with that.   The Good: Graphics Vehicles Smooth gameplay Highly customizable weaponry Vehicles Huge maps (lots of options for attack/defense and sniping actually means shooting more than 100 yards like many COD maps) Good squad/teamplay capabilities when used properly Did I mention vehicles? Dedicated servers   The Bad: Huge maps mean spawn can sometimes be far from the action Takes too long to level up and unlock better weapons/attachments Hitboxes are small. Automatic fire is worthless (see above) Color patterns on players don't stand out from the background very well. Maybe that's more "realistic" but it usually means I get smoked and have no idea where it came from. <<<FRUSTRATING>>> I guess I'm just getting older and it's hard to pick out the fine details fast enough.     So far, it's a mix of BF3 and Bad Company 2 to me. It's defnitely not run-n-gun like COD. I have the most trouble with hit boxes being so small. I'll go prone, line up sights, and open up with an LMG in someone's back from 50 ft away. They can turn around and shoot me with a handgun and win. WTF?!?!? It's getting better with each release (BF2 was the worst), but I just need to spend time practicing BF's game play. I can drive a tank like nobody's business, but infantry is hard for me.   I'll probably jump in tonight for a while and see if I can be someone's bullet magnet.
  20. He's going to need a bigger stone to open that ammo tin.  :)
