  1. Guys, we're overlooking a major flaw in our planning. A badge, sash, or shield only identify us when we're tactically moving from concealment to cover. "What about when we're driving?" you ask? Problem solved:
  2. http://www.lexisnexis.com/hottopics/tncode/ Drill down to 39-17-13-13. That's the current law that was signed in 2013.   There are some bills being tossed around the TN House and TN Senate to revise that and fix some it's more asinine points. Those are just bills for now, so 39-17-13-13 is the law as it stands today.
  3. You're just begging for Kentucky Conan to show up on this thread, aren't you?
  4. This doesn't just apply in the woods and on lake shores. That empty Gatorade bottle in a parking lot will likely end up in the waterways if it's not picked up. It's rare that I go in a store these days and don't have a few pieces of parking lot trash to toss in the can by the door.
  5. Badges are much too small to be seen in a firefight. That's why I'm commited to preaching the advantages of an HCP sash. That's why I'm doing a group buy of TGO-HCP sashes. Any of our TGO Vendors willing to handle the paperwork for that?
  6. Were they brown when you went into the field?
  7. I bet that stupid deer forgot to turn his cell phone off in a blasting zone. I knew this was bound to happen.
  8.   I truly enjoy the irony in the "Speak English or get out" signs on that link that have spelling and/or grammatical errors.
  9.   I want to know how this is going to show up on a CarFax.
  10. Nashville Sporting Arms is run by a lady and a guy. I think they're brother and sister, but I'm not certain of that. I've seen her in there more than I've seen him, but I haven't stopped in for a while now.
  11.   They plan to. GM is going to have them shipped to one of their shops in Michigan for restoration, if they can get them out of the hole. Some may not be salvagable but they won't know that until they clear off the dirt and debris and pull them up.
  12.   On a serious note, having one's 'Vette displayed at the NCM adds some prestige to its pedigree. Similar to winning 1st place at big car shows. Every little bit helps raise the value of the car. It's an affirmation from the 'Vette gods at NCM that your car is something special in the 'Vette world. They don't let Bubba'd out beaters in that place.   This will make it harder for them to get great loaner cars. How much more difficlut remains to be seen.
  13. There's a profession for people with big noses?
  14. My dad has been considering putting his '54 up there. I bet he'll think twice about that now.
  15.   http://www.wsmv.com/story/24702416/vehicles-swallowed-by-sinkhole-at-national-corvette-museum   Contains a couple of pics and a list of the cars in the hole. They don't usually keep 2 of the same year and model in there so if your brother has one that matches this list, it's probably his.
  16. What he said. I dig that stainless look.
  17. Ugly, but if it's all you can get, it still works.   I think that applies to more things in life than just this AR.
  18. Good thing you got him. He's also a known thief. That's Joe Namath's coat that he's wearing.
  19. I'm 6'4" so I know what you mean. I installed a "comfort height" toilet at home. It's in between the regular ones and the super high handicap ones. Perfection.
  20. You didn't get the memo? This is the latest Hawkins Co. autopsy tool.
  21. Back to the OP, I recall reading a ruling out of Florida (IIRC) at least a decade ago and probably more, that came to the same conclusion. It may have been a state court ruling. I can't recall now. Good to see that the Fed court sees it the same way.
  22.   I know I've seen it before, so I went dumpster diving in the old funny pics thread....It's not on there (or if it was, it;s gone now) but that stupid Kentucky Conan picture burned my eyeballs again!   My wife just looked at me like I'm a crazy person for laughing so hard at that old thread.
  23.     Pics, or it didn't happen.
