  1. After reading your OP, I was holding judgement until you came back with more specifics. After your last post, I have to say WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?!? GET OUT NOW AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!!
  2. She's playing at The Grand Ole Opry House. That's not the same thing as playing The Grand Ole Opry.   I get my older country fix listening to some really good music coming from the singer/songwriter and Americana genre right now. Music City Roots features some excellent musicians (and some not so good ones). Lightning 100 plays stuff that's closer to real country than the pop-tart 98/95.5/103.3 stations.
  3. You misunderstand fashion. Taylor Swift doesn't wear whatever is fashionable. What is fashionable is whatever Taylor Swift wears.
  4. Don't call and tell the editors of Rolling Stone what that symbol means. They'll fire that guy.   Unless he's also known to wear a Che Guevara shirt, in which case they'd be totally confused about what to do with him.
  5. The plant isn't expected to open for another year, so I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd guess late spring or early summer 2015 will see a job fair and that it will be mentioned in the local news outlets.
  6. The only thing that irritated me was that they shipped mine Signature Required and had it flagged where I couldn't re-route the shipment. I can understand that with firearms but not with this. Normally after I get the 1st delivery attempt sticker on my door, I can have them drop my parcel at the nearest FedEx store the next day for convenient pickup. I couldn't so that with this one so I had to pony up an extra $5 for Saturday delivery and then hang out at home during my selected 3-hour time window.
  7.   I think that's why gregintenn started this thread. He's fishing for a "promotion".  :D
  8.   Someone should go take a class from his dep't and use an AR or AK pistol with a drum mag.  :stir:     ETA: . . . with a Sig brace just for fun.
  9. Got my 2 sets on Saturday. I like the case. There's no tag inside so I can't tell who made it, but it looks exactly like the Drago 36" double rifle case which go for $60-$70 on Amazon. It was a sweet package deal. http://www.dragogear.com/products/tactical-rifle-cases/36-double-gun-case.html
  10.   They do that because their pricing computers know that anything that ends in an 8 is a regular priced item. Sale items will end in a different number, and clearance items will end in yet a different number.
  11. I've never noticed a posting at the one in Donelson.
  12. Mine works pretty well when stationary. Not so much while moving around. You're welcome to swing by and borrow mine if you want to try before you buy.
  13. CTD is dead to me. I was tempted for a few minutes by that great price on the M92, but then I remembered their $1.00/rd .223 and $129 USGI AR mags.
  14. I sort of lump all of the Batman movies after Keaton and before Bale together into "flop-land"
  15.   As was pointed out above, because it would flop.   There's a lot of competition for eyeballs so the publishers leverage familiarity with existing succesful franchises instead of inventing new ones. If they made "Hammer Babe: Goddess of Thunder" nobody would buy it. By using the Thor franchise, they've created a media and social-media sensation. For example: we're talking about a sex-changing norse god in a comic book on a forum for gun owners in a specific US state.   It's the same reason we have 14 differnt NCIS flavors. The first one worked, so they just copy-paste and off we go.
  16.   And Elektra.   DC has had a bad run too with Green Lantern, Catwoman, and Jonah Hex.
  17. I don't know. Chris Hemsworth has some pretty hair. They could probably do something with that in post-production.
  18. Metro Nashville libraries have both gunbuster and knifebuster stickers. Both are small and on clear backgrounds making them hard to see when entering, but plain as day when existing and they're backlit by the sun.
  19. From the Shotgun page:     What difference does plastic vs. metal make in either lethality or ilegal gun violence?   And WTH did they do to the barrel of that AR-15?
