  1.   She doesn't have to work at Waffle House to make this happen. :dirty:
  2.   Not even close. I know I've seen threads reaching page counts up into the 20's if not the 30's. I'm pretty sure the Funny Pics thread (which seems to have been purged) went a lot longer. I know the gay wedding cake one was way up there too. This one's only on 18 and, short of the OP replying back with some crazy status update, this one's close to dying.    I wonder if the cardboard box that was up for sale in the classifieds went on for this many pages. I know it lasted for a while.   Can any of the mods, or David, tell us what the longest thread was/is? I'd like to know just out of pure curiosity.
  3. Because AMC is seen through a subscription (cable or satellite). The MyTV networks are over-the-air-broadcasts like NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox. The FCC has different rules for the 2 classes of networks.       I think we need a remake of Night Of The Lepus.
  4. Ugh. I hate that stupid seam sealer in a tube. I use seam tape. It's cleaner, makes a neater finish, and works great. The better quality tents will have this done at the factory. According to some Amazon reviews, some of the factory-sealed seams still leak because they'll tape the joints, then stitch them. Oops.   Deffinitely go up one size, at least. I got a 6-person for me and Mrs. 'lizard. That's overkill, but it was on sale and will give us plenty of room for her to have an air mattress and a steamer trunk.   If you're going in warm weather, get one with good ventilation. Some today are 80-90% mesh on the sides and top. Less privacy, but great airflow. Add the rainfly for privacy, but that can kill the airflow. I have a Kelty Salida 2 that has a snug rainfly. It works great to keep the rain out, but can create condensation due to restricted airflow.

  7. I'm getting 28.8 (paying for 25) using both speed check sites posted above. No change after a reboot of PC and modem.
  8. Yeah. Put that magnifier on a flip-to-side mount. PA sells them. I got tired of having to take the magnifier off and on. Now it's always there and cen be flipped over when I don't want it. My PA red dot is on their cantilever mount*. That lets the red dot, the magnifier and a Magpul MBUS all fit on the upper's rail without having to put anything on the handguard rails.   *You need a tube-style red dot for that. It won't work with one with an integrated base.
  9. Has anyone else stopped in there yet? It's in the location where Guns & Ammo Depot was, near Sam's Club.   I'd be interested to hear others' takes on the place.
  10. 21 cents remaining: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GOOD-BYE-KITTY-MAGNETIC-BACK-/171394480164?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27e7e83824
  11. Thanks. I wasn't putting 2 and 2 together.  :)
  12. What's unkown to the citizen is whether or not the officer has reasonable suspicion. It's very possible that a BOLO was issued for a person matching the citizen's description. I wouldn't advise simply ignoring an officer in a situation like the one in the OP. If a citizen were to ask "why are you stopping me?" or if the officer asked the age-old phishing question "do you know why I stopped you?" that might be a good place to determine if resonable suspicion exists or not. If the officer's answer is more or less "because it's late and you're out walking" that's clearly not RS. A person has to decide for themselves if that's the time and place to argue the finer points.
  13. That's incorrect, according to the AG opinion linked by c.a. willard. It would be correct to say that cops have the right to ask you anything they want, but they must have reasonable suspicion of a crime to stop you and ask those questions. If the officer has no reasonable suspicion of a crime, then the citizen can continue on their way and ignore the questions. Doing so does not provide a basis for reasonable suspicion. That said, a person has to decide for themselves if the side of the road is a good place to argue what constitutes reasonable suspicion.
  14. I know where GfA was located. Where is NG&K located?
  15. I should not have read theses last 2 pages after drinking a milkshake.
  16.   There are times when I miss my Arizona yard; Just rocks with some scattered cacti.
  17. Page 7 and not one dissenting opinion. That has to be a record, not just for TGO, but for the entire Internet. To paraphrase Sir Winston: Never in the field of Internet forum history, has so little been agreed on by so many.
  18.   We need start a TGO quotes file, and this should be entry #1.
  19. I was going to ask someone send me the DHITP PM, but David's translation to PIIHB says it all.
  20. I am seriously thinking about those battery-powered yard tools from Stihl or Greenworks. I'm tired of carb problems.
