  1.   I didn't. I assumed the 1st two were I-40 and the Old Man. Rail lines and I-55, which is the most direct road link between the great lakes and the gulf, make 4.       I still don't know anyone would notice, though. I suppose someone might think that the "after" was a city-wide beautification project.
  2. To the OP (who already knows what/why I carry), mine's a Kahr PM9 with an extra mag for 14 shots. I chose it because it's easy to carry. I have carried a G26 and a G19, but neither will be my normal EDC. In the end, being comfortable and concealable were my top priorities for EDC. Home defense is a different matter.
  3.   It didn't seem to hurt LBJ or Jimmy Carter.
  4. "Man, I always feel like some white dude's lookin' over my shoulder"
  5. Or post it up here and let's have a Caption Contest!
  6. You must have some small furniture.                   waits to see how long it takes Will to notice that 16" <> 16'
  7. As for the 2 questions PackinMama listed, no, you do not have to ask those to be legal. They're a good idea, but not required.   All that's required for selling is that you're both residents of the same state and you don't have reason to believe the buyer is a felon or otherwise prohibted from owning/posessing a firearm. You don't have to actually ask about either point, but it's a good idea. You could also reasonably determine residency through other means (the buyer's phone# is a TN area code, they have TN plates, they're active on a particular TN gun owners' forum and have posted about TN specific stuff, etc.)   That's why lots of sellers here require to see at least a Tennessee DL (proof of residency)  or an HCP (proof of not being a felon). It's a good way to make a reasonable judgement that the buyer is qualified to buy. The BoS is an extra step that some buyers/sellers want to do, some won't do, and some require. It's all personal choice on that one.
  8. Yep.   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/4-suggested-form-for-face-to-face-firearms-sale-or-transfer/
  9. I just gave RC3 one star to cancel out your four star vote. It's just like real elections!
  10. 16" truck? You can't fit much in one of those.   :D   Glad you got it taken care of.
  11. There's a new skeet range coming to the Chapel Hill area too. It's between Triune and Henry Horton State Park. Still under construction, but as of 2 weeks ago, it was dang close to being finished. Plus there's a skeet range at Henry Horton State Park.
  12. You should add 39-17-1310 and 1313 to that.
  13. It looks like the standard tan wood color to me. Notice the stock is shielded from the lights by his body. His right arm and sleeve are not discolored so the stock is probably the real color of the stock and pump.   Either way, he's not sporting the Hello Kitty model.
  14. It's wood. The red+blue=purple police lights make it look pink. Same thing with the cross-walk signal, the dude on the left's uniform and helmet, and the shotgun cop's left arm.
  15. You're probably reading an older AG opinion. If it's the one I'm thinking of, he basically says that any non-school place where a school activity is occuring becomes a defacto school. While his opinion is presumably still valid, we now have more defenses/exceptions for carrying on school property than we had when he issued that opinion.     +1 to what OS said, plus we now have 39-17-1310 which allows anyone to have it loaded if they're only there for drop-off or pick-up.
