  1. Smith-Wesson did a warranty repair on a Walther P-22 for me in 2011. Shipped it to my door. Thompson-Center did the same last year following a safety recall.
  2.   You mean when velcroed to your arm, right?
  3. try "sexytime"
  4. Then there's this guy... (Carl's Jr = Hardee's)
  5. Remind me to NEVER buy any used firearms from Mike.
  6. musicman is correct.
  7. The difference with the M&P Sport then and now is that they no longer ship with the 5R barrel. That barrel is what made it such a steal. It's still a great entry point though and comes with the S&W lifetime warranty. I've seen them lately for as low as $514 shipped (plus TICS and Transfer).   The Sport does not have a forward assist or an ejection port dust cover. All other M&P-15 models do. Unless you plan to roll around in the dirt, you will never need a dust cover. The FA is likewise useless for most people. If a round doesn't seat properly when the bolt closes, do you really want to force it in there or would you rather eject that round and check to see what went wrong?   If you go for a Sport, make sure you get model# 811036. There are also 2 Commifornia and Friends compliant Sports that comes with either the bullet button or a fixed stock. What you're getting is not always clear in online listings, so check the model #. Models 811037 and 811038 are the ones you DON'T want.   I have an M&P-15 (not the Sport) and love it. One of the things I like about the M&P-15 line is that their uppers and lowers are both coated and match each other very well. It looks like a nice melonite coating. I just built a PSA lower yesterday and it has a much flatter finish that I don't like. S&W says it's a hard coat black anodized finish on theirs, but the PSA lowers said the same thing. I know my M&P-15 looks a LOT better than the PSA one. The PSA lower will be getting cerakoted once I pick out an upper. I should have done it prior to assembly, but I didn't realize just how different it looks until I finished it and put it next to my M&P.   The biggest downside to the M&P line is that you'll get the standard integrated front-sight-post/gas-block on all but the most expensive models. That means you can't put handguards on that extend over the gas block, limiting what you can do with the look of it unless you want to change out the gas block. If you like the front sight post, that becomes a non-issue.
  8. Excellent! I'll be taking the whole family there in 2015 for my dad's 70th birthday. I went about 15 years ago and loved it. Great place for a clean and fun show.
  9. If the commercials showed what they really look like, would you want to go buy one?
  10.   Since when did McDonald's serve "food"?
  11. This unnecessary act of gun violence would never have happened if McDonald's would put the safety of its customers ahead of corporate profits and post a gunbuster sticker on every door.
  12. AIUI, you need the 094 for doe. It's a quotaless permit (for the unlimited doe) in addition to being for the WMA. The regular big-game gun permit only gives you 3 antlered deer for the season.   Right?
  13.   That's their second location. The original one is in the Melrose area (thus the name) at 2535 Franklin Pike. I've been to the one on Charlotte a few times, but not the original one.
  14. Porn         Seriously though, I'm usually too busy on Christmas Day to watch anything. I watched It's a Wonderful Life last week. I usually watch the Charlie Brown Christmas every year too.
  15. Don't short them on the tactical knee brace.
  16.   If they did that, nobody anywhere would ever see another Jaguars game.
  17. Seriously you guys? Cutler? Mariota? These are the Titans we're talking about here. We'll obviously draft Jameis Winston after he declares his intent to leave after 3 season with the Seminoles who beat every high-school team on the Atlantic coast, spend 2 years "developing him", get one half-decent season, then get 2 more where it will all be someone else's fault (read "injuries"), then trade him off to be a 3rd string QB in Philly. I think we've read this book before. All along the way the coaches will be picking him up from late night strip club jaunts, bailing him out of DUIs, and trying to smooth over the occasional domestic disturbance.   If the Titans have the opportunity to disappoint us, they will.
  18.   No worries. Once you exit the driver's side, you tactically enter the truck bed, somersault to the passenger side of the bed, then lean out. You won't get the same protection as you'd get from the rear passenger door, but you'll have a higher vantage point. As we all know, you always want the high ground.
  19. That would be perfect! Be sure to have a shot of yourselves covered with loads of medals to show how experienced you are. Filling the jackets up so much that you have to overflow to your pants? BONUS!
  20. It depends on the mental health problem. Not all lend themselves to some sort of violence towards others or towards the ill person.
  21.   Give The Beer Sellar a call. They have a lot of taps.
  22. Jackalope and Fat Bottom are also in Nashville.
  23. This is a good step to removing the stigma around mental health. If a person needs professional help, it will be a difficult call to make anyway. Toss in the fact that they'll potentially lose their rights for life and it means some people never get the short-term help they need.
