  1. Yep. Had to be made up. Period.
  2. 1) yes, Dawn and hot water will work. Windex is also a good one. The ammonia neutralizes the salts. Just don't let  the Windex sit a long time as it can cause damage if left in there.   2) try a funnel.
  3.   They could call it The Cooter Shooter.
  4.   I'm not really surprised. Everything's bigger in Texas.
  5.   You win the Internetz for today!
  6. I use CCI minimags with zero issues. It will take the Federal bulk stuff, but I'll get a FTF on average once per mag. Usually it's similar to the OP. Racks the slide fare enough to set the hammer, but not far enough to grab the next round in the mag. I never did anything to it but clean it and lube it. It's about 5 years old and came the the "B" magazine.
  7. Chip Cain can still be your guy. Caster said in post#4 that he never had to go to Chip's office. Just emails and get the documents notarized locally.
  8.   Problem solved! http://www.citikitty.com/products/citikitty-cat-toilet-training-kit
  9. Horse flogging cat murderer!!!!!!           :D
  10. This.   We'll likely never see the follow-up as that's not newsworthy.
  11. What jtmaze said. It passed the Senate but got killed in the House. It would be kind of hard for a new law to be passed right now seeing as how the legislature is not in session.
  12. He has a moustache and he stashed away in an engine compartment.   That's his name then: 'Stache
  13. I'm sure there's an Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson joke hiding in here somewhere.
  14. But does yours have the groovy leather shoulders?
  15. It doesn't appear that Virginia honors NY permits. http://handgunlaw.us/states/virginia.pdf   If you meant above that you have permits from Utah and Pennsylvania, then you're good to go in Virginia for concealed carry   Virginia allows open carry without a permit, so printing shouldn't be an issue. Just be sure to have a valid permit from a state they honor or switch to open carry. http://www.opencarry.org/?page_id=310
  16.   You should have said "Naw, that's my thigh rig."
  17. Reagan had experience as California's governor before his Presidency, plus nearly 20 years of political activism before that.
  18.   To put a little more meat on that bone, if a reasonable person would believe that a crime may have been commited then the officer has legal justification to detain a person. If a reasonable person would believe that a crime has been commited then the officer has legal grounds for arrest. Detention can only last long enough for a reasonable investigation to ascertain probable cause or not. If there's no probable cause, the detention is supposed to end and the person is free to go.
  19. If anyone wants a link that doesn't have a bazillion spam pop-ups: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/09/01/manhunt-on-for-gunman-after-cop-reportedly-killed-in-chicago/
  20. They could have shipped them to a LE department in another state. I suspect someone would have ponied up a couple of 100 grand for $1/2 million worth of S&W.
  21. They've been pretty good. Contacted me throughout the process. No complaints from me so far. A little slow on the turnaround. the rifle arrived back at their place on Tuesday last week, and I had to call today to get a status, which is when I found out the above info. Not a big deal to me. I'm not in a hurry for this. If I have no emailed pics and have to call again in 3 or 4 days, that may start to change, but so far so good.   Everyone I've spoken to has been polite and professional. They sound like good people over there.
  22. I spoke with them today. They're getting pics of the rifle out to me before they reship to be sure I'm OK with it. the guy I spoke with said the only damage is that bluing wear on the muzzle device, which may or may not have happened in shipping. He said that muzzle device wear is something they're seeing on some of them out of the crates. Other than that, he said it's beautiful, no other signs of any damage. I'll post back with pics when I get it.
  23. http://gun-deals.com/list/ammo/7.62x39 $240-$250 delivered. Catch a nice deal at Sportsmans Guide or AIM and maybe find it for $210-$220 delivered?   Pretty much any of the Wolf or Tula is fine. Red army is also good to go. I can't tell a difference because I'm not that good of a shot, but I hear the Golden Tiger FMJ boat tail stuff is pretty accurate.
