  1. The number of parties is the problem! If there were more competent choices, and the parties knew that there would be better competition, then there might just be a penalty great enough for them to do what the American people want. Now with two parties they wait 4 or 8 years after a lose at the polls to see how bad the other party was with their time in office, and get a freebie win as is the case this time around. The Dems have messed up so much that the Reps have really no competition to get the House, Senate, and White House if those among us that care do vote. A third or fourth party would make that only other choice go away! It could be 12 or longer years before they win again. Might make a change in who wins and why they can hold on to power!
  2. I think that each of us needs to assess whether our votes are equaling our desires over the 4 years the winners represent. The need for a third party is when we are constantly seeing the swings from left to right, and nothing is being done about the issues that are tearing our United States Of America apart from within. Whether it is the Tea Party, or another party started from the grass roots of our America, it will never be successful at winning until a lot of the normal folks get up and get involved at all levels. I do agree that this year is not the time to divide the Republican Party. However, I do also think that this party will be the one that is divided to form a new third party in the future. Especially if they do not cut the debt and out of control spending after this election. Etc...
  3. The same is happening to the British Endfields! I know they have the same reputation of being the easy to get $100.00 rifle, but now they are going for around $250 - $450. Depends on what it's worth to have a weapon from WWI or WWII that is also a great Deer Rifle.

  5. Silver Bear 62 Grain Hollow Points! I shot one back last summer at about 15 feet away. Bullet entered just below the neck into the chest cavity, and 25 yards of dragging her innards to the point of death! That bullet went clean though the body and I had no problems tracking through the woods to find her.
  6. CVA Accura for about $200 which brought me a 7 pt and a spike this last year. Loads for magnum loads and 200 yard shots if needed. Bought a friend one too, and he brought home 2 bucks (5 and 6 pointers) and a doe. We didn't even have to hunt when Rifle season came in!
  7. 1. I agree with the confusing paragraphs and contradictions in the current manuals too! 2. How about getting the restrictions on the use of Night Vision Scopes / Devices lifted for the purpose of coyote hunting at night? I know---Everyone would be poaching deer is their defense of the restriction, but I really don't see that. If someone was caught poaching deer, then let them be punished two fold. Other states allow night vision scopes for coyote hunting. Why not TN?
