  1. Does it have a bullet guide installed?   Can we get a picture of the malfunction?
  2. What version of the Sparrow? Stainless or aluminum?
  3. I made out like a bandit. I didn't get just one lump but a whole pile of lumps.
  4. Ah ok. 22's are easy to suppress. Doesn't take much to get them really quiet because they do not have a lot of volume.   Good luck.
  5. I ordered the last three I bought off of eBay. They are generally ~$15 shipped.
  6. Yeah, imagine what will happen in the real world when a kid pulls out a gun in school. Even if they want to turn it over they will go to jail, get expelled and likely ruin their lives. This is really irresponsible for the maker to post.
  7. The rest of the form is normally filled out BEFORE you MAIL in the forms for an individual submission. But because it was approved for an entity there is no photograph to be taken. Can't really take a photo of a trust and a trust cannot have a background check done on it so there is no need for the CLEO to approve it.
  8. Did you efile? If so there is nothing you need to do. The first page is all I print off and keep.   You do not need to get fingerprinted or photographed AFTER approval.
  9. But that is no fun.
  10. It is approved but cannot be shouldered,
  11. All those medals probably act as body armor.
  12. Actually considering the majority of the United States is obese you would cater to the majority of gun owners, not a bad place to be in a market. Perhaps figure out, design and market tactical or self defense accessories for the fluffy fellow.
  13. What a retard and evidently that retard is on television. http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/tactical-environment-tv/675530   Here is his Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/tacticalenvironments
  14. Your can is going to surprise you. Volume is king in the suppressor world and that one has a tone.   BTW, what caliber is it for?
  15. That looks great. If I had the ability to do a monocore my can would be very different.
  16. Those are for the new bifocal scopes being released a SHOT 2015.
  17. I hear they can do amazing things with plastic surgery these days.
  18. The biggest reason to get rid of some is they are registered in MY name, not the trust, so when I die the process of getting those items transferred is more complicated than with the trust. And that is not something I want any of my family to have to deal with.   Yes I could just transfer the existing items into the trust but the lower has issues and the 22 can was my first one and although it works great its replacement will be a lot better. I may not toss them, I have to think on it. The lower and the silencer are a matched pair now with instructions to grab the entire gun and walk it into the local ATF office if I die.   I did get a response from the ATF this morning via email. That was in response to an email asking how I can confirm the registry is updated with the current information. What they really need to do is tell the secretaries to only answer the phones and not questions. We have discussed some of the crazy opinions I have gotten over the phone and how they can change based on who you talk to.
  19. Yep, doing it real soon.   All you need to do it take the original form with the gun and turn it in to the local office for destruction. Not going to be able to shoot suppressed 22 until I get a new one approved. I am also probably going to turn in an AR lower to prevent confusion, just need to strip it down first.
  20. And yet another thing I was told by the ATF that does not follow their writings but it was the local office that told me that when I started loosing confidence when I was calling the national number. I was calling the national number when I was not getting responses to letters I was writing. I have yet to get back a single letter I have written in the last year. I have items that needed their information corrected at the national level and I have no way of knowing whether the letter I wrote made it and if the information was updated. You cannot call the tech branch, which are the ones you write in to for corrections or opinions, and because they never respond by mail how is one supposed to know? At this point I am disgusted at the whole process because here I am with weapons that may, or may not, be configured according to ATF records and I have no way of knowing.    With the NFA lower I told you I was going to turn in for destruction was because I was told I needed to notify them I was removing it from NFA registry in order to sell or give it away unless I was going to sell it as an SBR but no one will buy an SBR lower with MY name on it.     Assuming those I have spoke to at the ATF know what the hell they are talking about has made me look like more of an idiot than normal and for the last time. I am just going to quit calling them, writing them or answering questions related to NFA stuff. Matter of fact I am pretty disgusted at this because now I get to write more letters, that I will not get a response from, in hopes they update my items in the registry but in the end I will have no clue whether they are or not.
  21. I NEVER size dirty brass. If it has EVER touched the ground it gets cleaned. It does not need to be tumbled, you can clean them using Lemishine and water. I actually initially clean my brass using acetone. It really cleans the brass up and evaporates quickly. Then I lube, size/deprime and tumble again to remove the lube before priming.   All it takes is a single grain of sand to ruin your dies, especially if they are steel. Once the grain of sand creates a burr on the inside of the die that burr will transfer a scratch to every piece of sized brass. There is no easy way to remove it either.   You need to verify that your dies are carbide. Steel dies should be used to size lubed brass. I normally lube all my brass regardless of the dies used because it makes sizing so much easier, even with carbide dies.   For the best lube follow this: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/48415-case-lube-for-cheap/?hl=lube
  22. I will call again and probably end up writing some more letters. I wrote letters last year updating information but I never received the copy I included for them to send back in the SASE I included.   I suspect what I posted, and now hid, was wrong. I based that on the answer I got from the ATF. Now I start the process of updating with the ATF several ARs that are SBRd.   When measuring for overall length it should be at its longest length, not shortest.
