Why not make a minor change and chamber it in 7.62x39? Seems it would be a lot cheaper to operate but then again anyone who can afford a $5K gun can probably afford to shoot it as well.   They talk about SBRing an imported pistol but unless there are enough US parts you cannot legally convert it into a rifle whose configuration is banned from import.

He is a great looking dog. BTW, because your dog has rear dew claws it would be easy to narrow down a few breeds it might have in it, if it matters to you. My son is coming home from Djibouti in a couple of weeks. From talking to him there is not a lot they need if he is going to Camp Lemonnier. They have a few fast food places and the living conditions are decent. I will say that being in Africa is a whole lot safer than Iraq or Afghanistan. But also be aware Camp Lemonnier is also about 12 miles away from a country that hates the US.   As far as what he would want just imagine what an inmate in prison would want and that is what most soldiers would want when deployed.   Something I do regularly is take all my old magazines, say a couple of months old, and mail them off. They ship in a flat rate so the cost is not a lot.

Even though you will not hear the shots the damage is still being done when exposed to loud noises under stressful situations.   Even suppressed guns in an enclosure can cause damage. Most suppressors are still loud enough to cause damage but the frequency is out of range for most humans. That is why most silencer testing is done while weighted for C rather than A. C is the frequency range for the human ear while A is a bit different. They want to be able to say it is a certain decibel to human ears even though it is louder when you take into account the frequencies outside of the human hearing range.

And do not think that because it was approved now it does not mean it will not be reversed later on, plenty of examples of that. At some point the ATF is going to start scrutinizing trusts and when that happens there are going to be a lot of people in a lot of trouble.   There is a reason why they went from any agent handling any state to assigning agents to specific states. The reason was that each state has different laws regarding guns as well as trusts. A trust setup for another state might not be valid in this one but the hired help, who glances over it, might not know what to look for and arbitrarily approve it. But later on when a lawyer examines the trust and determines it is not valid they will be contacting you for the correct trust. Guarantee doing that will cost you a lot more, in both grief and money, than doing it right the first time. Or imagine if one of the trustees gets thrown in jail for possessing the NFA item when the trust was not done correctly. Having a wife, son, daughter or friend getting thrown in jail to save a few hundred dollars would not seem like money well saved.   BTW, we are in a state where NFA items are illegal but we do have a defense to prosecution. And I can guarantee if you are in front of a judge, who is an attorney, as well as the prosecutor, that is also an attorney, they will scrutinized the trust. And if that trust was drafted by someone who is not a lawyer or it is a trust drafted from another state it will invalidate that trust and there goes your defense to the prosecution which places you in possession of ILLEGAL weapons. There are cases in Texas, which has an identical law to ours, that NFA owners are being arrested and going to court to have their defense to prosecution validated. At some point some LE officer is not gong to accept your copy or the form or the copy of your trust and make an arrest. And the worst part is the law allows him to do it but afterwards you will have your trust documents torn apart to make sure they are valid for this state. Who will be standing next to you when that happens? Coyote Rifleworks? Don't fool yourself.   This is also why a lawyer must be licensed to practice in each state. It is ILLEGAL for anyone to practice law without being a lawyer and drafting a trust IS practicing law.   The problem is not Coyote offering trusts. The problem is Coyote offering trusts when they are not lawyers and not from this state. And anyone who offers to draft someone else a trust without being a lawyer is a criminal, plan and simple. And those trusts setup by those who are not lawyers are invalid placing those in possession of their NFA items is serious jeopardy of being turned into a criminal. Just because they have not been caught yet doesn't change that fact that they are criminals. And personally I would not want to be associated with anyone who is a criminal, especially if their actions could make me a criminal too.   And you can go back and look at my posts from a few years ago and you will see I was no fan of trusts but I made sure to have mine done legally. I even had copies of other people's trusts as examples for me to copy but in the end I realized my freedom was worth more than any amount of money I might save.   I am sure that the trusts they do not sell on this site is not going to affect their bottom line.   It is perfectly legal for an individual to draft their own trust but they also assume the responsibility for ensuring it is right and if not then any punishments. There are only two people who can legally draft a trust, the individual and a state licensed attorney. Anyone else is breaking the law by offering that service.

I would try just swapping in the hammer. Most times if anything needs to be fitted it is the thumb safety because of how the hammer interacts with the sear and the thumb safety locks the sear in place. Make sure you have plenty of dummy round to check to make sure the hammer does not follow the slide. And NEVER drop the slide on an empty chamber or the sear will be ruined.

Left overs from the last benefactor box as well as a box of other gun related items. New and used items, everything is useable with some custom one-off items. Must take EVERYTHING, do not come out then pick through to find a few items you want. After that sell it, trade, or just throw it away. Must pick up in person, will not ship. I will not hold it for anyone, first one to come out is the first one to get it. I don't care if you are the first person to post "I'll take it", the first person at my door gets it. Must have registered before today.

I want to build a LONG range rifle but I have no place to really stretch its legs. I have ORSA but it is over an hour one way but I just cannot go that far. Heck, I would be happy with shooting 223 or even 300 Blackout at 500 yards.   That is a heck of a shot, a lot of variables had to be in tune to make that shot. Definitely takes a lot more skill than I have.

I have a lower made by Sabre Defense for a local gun shop. And honestly it is probably the loosest lower I own. It is SBRd and it will get turned in to the ATF when I die because it is not worth transferring. They made a lot of things for others until they were shut down for some questionable business practices.

What distances you expecting to use it at?

When I read the title it reminded me of something that happened to our treat in Afghanistan. We had an interpreter we used and he was actually one of the best "terps" we had. We had some really crappy ones that knew phrases but could not translate anything. We always told our terp to call us twice a day when he was not on the compound and he would call us all the time. He had several days off but during this time he did not call us once. We even tried calling him but it would go to voicemail. After about the fourth or fifth day we assumed he had been killed. Then our terp came in, was apologetic and said he was very worried about us. He said there is a phone virus and was really worried about us. I figured it was like a computer virus but he said it was a deadly virus that will kill you if your phone is infected. At this point I thought he was messing with us and gave him a "yeah right" look. He said it wax not a joke and he watched someone die at the market. The terp said someone, at the market, bought a card to recharge the minutes on his phone. The terp said after the guy recharged his phone he made a call. Then the terp stated to get visibly shaken as he began to relay what happened next. The terp said as the guy began making a call he began spewing blue stuff from his mouth then he collapsed on the ground and the guy's friend said he was dead. Then the friend said it was the phone card that killed him and not to buy the cards from that vendor because it had a virus. We explained to the terp it was not true but it took him several weeks to feel comfortable using his phone again. I suspect one vendor set up the charade to sell more cards than his competitor. We all got a good laugh at it.

Accepting food stuff as returns is a HUGE liabity. No clue if it was stored properly or if something else happened to it. People seem to forget about the rash of poisonings a in the 80's.

Great stuff. What I would give to be shooting full auto again. My whole time in the military I never really appreciated a good full auto or the time spent shooting them. Maybe one day, when I hit the Powerball, I will be able to afford to buy one as well as feed one. Probably my top three full autos would be a Krinkov, an AR (because they are so versatile) and some sort of belt fed like a SAW or RPD.

And any good thug knows to leave your location services off.

  Look at the Century C39, it is hardly pricey for what it is. I cannot think of any milled receiver AKs that are in the same price range and similar quality.
