The brain is an organ, just like the heart or lungs or liver, but when your brain is failing you finding treatment is much harder than if it was a heart, lungs or liver. You don't see the same kind of sympathy for someone who is mentally ill as someone who has brain cancer even though they affect the same organ. The best someone with a mental handicap can hope for is to be thrown in jail to get the treatment he/she needs but while in jail they often become victims of violence which only makes the problem worse. And now with the government attacking ANYONE, not just those that are violent, we are going to see a lot more problems because those who have a mental disability are going to avoid going to the doctor. They should be viewed, and treated, the same as someone with any other organ failing them.

And the liars and thieves comment was not directed at anyone here or on this site, just society in general.

Why not allow it? Our prison system is the worst in the world as far as treatment and rehabilitation. A person who steals a loaf of bread to feed his family is treated the same as, and housed with, violent criminals. Our justice system makes no distinction between the two which is wrong. Yes they classify but ALL inmates are housed in the same way, little box unless you are nice then it is a bigger box. In the end it is still a box where you sit and do nothing. Keep a person penned up constantly and they will become violent. Allow them to work out and they will be less violent. From the videos and documentaries I have watched about Russia I think there is a fundamental difference between us and them. There, people actually believe in personal accountability and responsibility while here it is everyone else's fault. If a criminal gets caught red handed killing someone here the victim is blamed for being the victim, society is to blame, poor Johnny didn't have a father or it is because he is a certain color. Long gone are the days when someone who was wrong will actually say they were wrong. Heck, we seen it in this thread where the OP broke the rules then tries to blame everyone else for HIS actions. And that is the single biggest problem with this country and there is no way to fix it. We are a country of liars and thieves and it is considered acceptable so long as you are not the victim.

That IS a prison, I guess minimum security, but that definitely is a prison.

I am trying to figure out what that place is. Those look like prison guards or police officers inside with them. And what is up with the bunch of guys outside with name tags? Maybe a training academy of sorts. He has a metric ton of videos and a bunch of subscribers.

Wow, I guess you are THAT old.

Evidently this guy got a divorce and was ordered go give half to his ex wife. I assume this is his half and the other "half" went to his ex wife. http://www.ebay.de/sch/der.juli/m.html These are live auctions going on right now, not a "best of". I bet the look on her face was priceless when she realized she got half of a bunch of now useless junk. And here is the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHLg_9DGbSg

He did have previous arrests and convictions. The media is wondering why he was able to purchase a firearm after he was arrested for trespassing. He also has arrests for drug paraphernalia. He has already confessed to the killings stating he wanted to start a race war. Also, I heard on the news this morning that the feds are looking at charging him with terrorism. Not sure it qualifies for terrorism but I am for every charge they can throw at him. Because he has already confessed they will likely let him plea out to life in prison rather than death which I agree with. Not because I think he should be given leniency but because life in prison means he will be tormented and tortured every day until he is eventually killed by another inmate. He will live the rest of his life in constant fear which is a lot more torturous than sitting on death row for 15 years then humanely euthanized like a sick dog. With that being said watch out because Hillary has already said that gun owners are domestic terrorists and this will be used as an example. As sad as this is it will be used to further hurt LAW ABIDING gun owners as well as deepen the divide of this country. BTW, I can see it now. A random person sees someone open carrying a firearm and a call is made saying there is a "terrorist" with a gun.

The gallbladder: A.K.A. THE DEVIL ORGAN OF SATAN
Dolomite_supafly replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
My wife has had her gallbladder removed in 1992 or 1993 in Germany by military doctors. They did not use a scope so she has a couple of scars, the biggest being about 10" long straight across her abdomen. They must have laid her open like a fish to do the surgery and had drain tubes afterwards. My wife said the worst pain out of all of it was a few days after surgery they pulled the drain tube out. And by pulled I mean PULLED and I thought she was going to jump out of her skin, I am sure if she could she would. It took the doctors about a week, or maybe a little longer, to figure out what was going on. Her attacks of pain always came at night which made it really hard because we did not have a car at the time. She would lay down to go to sleep and it would hit her then she would crawl around on all fours while I looked for a car. We would head to the ER and within a couple of hours it would subside but we were there almost every night for at least a week before they decided to do surgery. She stayed in the hospital for 4-5 days after the surgery. And what was the probably the worst about the whole thing is when we went in she would have to answer questions about being raped. The enlisted nursing staff would spend more time trying to get her to say she had been raped by me than actually trying to figure out what was wrong. On several occasions they made me leave the room so they could talk to her privately about the "rough sex". After about the fourth of fifth trip to the hospital, and her getting questioned about rape, I finally lost it and they threatened to have me arrested. And after she kept saying repeatedly she wasn't raped they turned their attention to me. They started insinuating that I was raping my wife every night. After about a week of this I finally did loose it and was yelling and screaming in the ER. Then they finally, after about a week, decided to do an ultrasound which showed she had stones in her gall bladder. The biggest was about the size of a cherry. They removed her entire gall bladder and since then she has to watch what she eats. The doctor that did the surgery was a great doctor. Spoke to him several times before and several times after and he was the nicest one of the bunch. Matter of fact all of the doctors I spoke to were professional but the enlisted staff were obviously a different matter. My wife is a very tough person, a lot tougher than I probably am, so I know they had to be painful based on how my wife acted. -
I suspect he will not be taken alive. Cowards like this generally take their own lives at the first sign they are going to be caught. As far as the weapon it would have to fit in his fanny pack so likely a pistol of some sort. Yet another spark that has a chance to ignite the hostilities and the race baiters will no doubt use this as a means to further divide when we should be coming together.

On the flip side what would you guys do if you suddenly realized that you left your sidearm in a public restroom? I know this happened to a member here. I will not mention names but he left a Sig 938 in a public restroom when they were as rare as hens teeth. Luckily someone turned it into the clerk and he was able to retrieve it.

Walmart strikes again, this time more serious
Dolomite_supafly replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
Well if it is not bad enough things just took a turn for the worst. Rather than wait on Walmart to do the right thing, if they ever will, we decided to contact our insurance to start the claims process. We are still going to wait on Walmart's final decision before actually filing with our insurance but it may not matter anyways. We have full coverage on the vehicle and after explaining to the adjuster that a Walmart worker damaged our vehicle during a service she said our policy may not cover the repairs. She said that because Walmart did the damage they are the ones that should repair it and not our insurance. She said because it was not typical accident that she thinks our full coverage will not cover the damages done by the worker at Walmart. I am hoping our insurance will cover it but if they don't we are going to cancel all policies once the vehicle is fixed. What is the sense in having full coverage if they will not fix the vehicle? Right now the estimate is a little over $600 but she also said it will likely be a lot more because the $600 only covered the body damage and two struts. She said she is unable to inspect whether the hinges or the door is bent as well as whether the lift mechanism is damaged so she cannot add those items to the estimate yet. The $600 is the bare minimum but will likely be a lot more. -

I carry EVERYWHERE I go and not just a pistol either. I ALWAYS have some sort of "fighting rifle" with me as well. -

Let me know when you go and I will head out there as well. As far as how often I shoot I try to put some rounds through anything at least 5 times a week. Sometimes it is a pistol and sometimes it is a rifle. -
I think we all know how this will likely end. Maybe, just maybe, there will be a turn of events in this thread but unfortunately I believe it will be getting an Oscar for best drama.

Do you feel comfortable drilling and tapping the barrel yourself? Don't worried the barrel is not hardened steel.

Walmart strikes again, this time more serious

They are sending the video tape to the insurance company. The insurance company has already called asking questions. They did say the manager said the worker could not have damaged the vehicle. Problem I have is it sounded like they are using the word of the manager, who is not a mechanic or an expert on Cadillacs, as the basis for their decision. Yet, I cannot get them to call me back so I can submit documentation from actual ASE certified mechanics at the Cadillac dealership who ARE experts on Cadillac vehicles. The insurance has not made their decision yet and my only hope so far is they can at least get ALL the evidence, not just that of people who are biased. But after two messages in 4 days I am not as hopeful. Tomorrow we go see the body shop to see how much it will be to repair ALL the damage. It will be repaired either way, it is just a matter of whether it will cost them or cost us. Spoke to out insurance and they said our premiums will likely raise unless they can recoup ALL of the money they spend on the repairs from Walmart So if Walmart doesn't cover it the damage will cost us a lot more than just the repairs. And yet another liar will be rewarded for lying but I don't blame him because everyone in government does it as well as the president. -
You realize that there are plenty of other actions that can be taken outside of what other members see. For example how many warning points do I have? And hopefully you understand that it is sometimes better to walk away when you are wrong rather than try to argue that you are right. See you in another week.

I have the best doctor in the world. He has made house calls, he doesn't charge unless he helps me, helps the needy, actually listens, doesn't make appointments and spends as much time as needed. One more thing, his price is less than most co payments. When I visit him we compare guns and he doesn't care if you carry a gun in his office as long as you take it off before he weighs you.

First, the punishments members receive is between the staff and that member only. We, as staff, only discus punishments with those being punished. Because of that you have ZERO clue regarding anyone else's punishments, perceived or real. Second, you, and only you, are responsible for your own actions. No one forced you to post anything, at least no one in that thread. Regardless of what anyone else posts you are the only one that will be held accountable for the rules YOU break. Third, rule #2 is a very important rule. So if you decide to not to be nice you will be punished even if the other person is not nice either. If you feel someone has broken the rules report it and let the staff deal with it. And finally, you have no right to free speech here. The 1st amendment protects you from the government and guess what, we are not the government.

Everyone should have a basic knowledge of how to defend yourself without the use of weapons. It also makes you less reliant on the authorities for your own survival. Glad to see being able to be self reliant is being passed down. Knowledge is something that can never be taken away by anyone, any law or any government.
