  1. These are all available at Midway Usa. They normally have coupons online so you can save money as well. But all of this should be under $200. lee-perfect-powder-measure RCBS Hand Priming Tool frankford-arsenal-micro-reloading-electronic-powder-scale-750-grain-capacity lyman-electronic-scale-powder-funnel-pan lee-classic-cast-breech-lock-single-stage-press hornady-lock-n-load-press-and-die-conversion-bushing-kit hornady-electronic-caliper-6-stainless-steel This is what it would minimally take to load. You would still need to buy the particular dies you need as well as bullets, primers and powder. I suggest the primers and powder be purchased locally, say from DLM37015. I would also suggest a person new to reloading use jacketed bullets in the begining, they are easier to deal with than cast. Cast bullets add another facet to reloading. Some people are going to say the Lee stuff is crap but I have used all these items for several years now without a single issue. For the money the Perfect Powder Measure can't be beat but the RCBS is also a great powder measure but a little more expensive than the Lee. I prefer a electronic over a balance beam. Balance beams take a lot longer to settle than an electronic. No need to tumble your brass to clean them. Get some Lemishine at Walmart. Add a table spoon to some water and soak your brass for 24 hours. Every time you walk by give them a shake to aggitate them. Rinse them and let dry. Brass will be very clean and useable.   I will say that depending on the caliber you might want to get either RCBS or other than Lee dies.   If he is going to load rifle calibers, especially bottleneck cartridges, he will also need a way to trim his brass. This is what I used for a very long time and have ZERO complaints about it. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/136199/lee-case-trimmer-cutter-with-ball-grip He will also need the case length gauge and shell holder for the particular caliber. If all he is reloading is straight wall pistol calibers there is no need to trim.
  2. https://twitter.com/msn It was originally reported as "Heavily armed white civilians patrolled Ferguson, drawing criticism from police".   And this is how all this crap starts again. It gets reported one way so that a certain group will take to the streets but in the meantime they change the headlines and act like they did nothing wrong.   The media, for the most part, sickens me with how they report news here in the US. Anyone who has been overseas knows that real news is everywhere else and if you want to know what is going on here then find a news source from another country.
  3. Tremors are actually pretty common in Tennessee, mostly in the eastern or western parts though. We feel them a couple of times a year but there are a lot more that we never feel.   For anyone else living in east Tennessee this should scare the bejesus out of you. http://earthquaketrack.com/r/eastern-tennessee/recent
  4.   Funny how fan boys work. They find the one "guru" then no matter the evidence they blindly follow and attack anyone who isn't a fan boy. Some of these people are fanatical in their defense of someone they probably have never met too or even talked to.
  5. My wife picked up a bag to shoulder carry an oxygen tank. Fits my mini Draco perfectly even with a side folder. The only issue is a 20 round mag is a little too tall. I will pick up a 10 rounder and see how it works. If it does who is going to say anything to a guy on crutches holding an oxygen bag.
  6. Same thing with my 30 caliber can.
  7. There is plenty more aftermarket support for Savage than Mossberg. There are tons of barrels available for Savage and they can be swapped at home. I will expound tomorrow.
  8. I have been involved in the mass sale of reloading stuff before. People were offering roughly 1/2 for the items being sold unless it was something special or rare. 1/2 is a good place to start and go UP if it is something you really want or if you know it isn't something you see everyday.   But don't be afraid to offer her less but, as gregintenn as said, let her know why you are offering less. Let her know you are not offering less because it is worth less but because you want to be able to buy more stuff to carry on reloading like her late husband did.   Fortunately the prices will probably be on the side of most things, just cut that number in half and make an offer.   And if we are close I can come out and help you get a fair price on things as well as price the stuff you don't want so the lady does not get screwed over.
  9. Well if it were built from a stripped lower all you have to do is remove the shoulder stock to turn it into a pistol.
  10. I bet you can add some storage to the front and rear as well as the sides. I have been wanting a rail buggy to turn into an "assault" vehicle. Not sure why because I can't drive and my wife has already said she won't.
  11. Important on guns destined for hard use but most people will never shoot enough for it to be warranted. Most AR owners probably shoot less than 500 rounds a year which is not hard use. Hard use would be 500+ a month or some sort of course shooting 1K+ over a day or two.
  12. Looks sbout like any river or stream in Alabama after it rains.
  13. Crazy, never knew or even thought you could run a 2 stroke on diesel and kerosene. I will say a Diesel engine will run with gas mixed in with the diesel. Our unit in Germany had a diesel VW van that we used to run around in. Someone messed up and topped off the 1/2 full tank with MOGAS. It ran like a scalded dog but once we shut the engine off it never started again.
  14. Most of the "racing" quads use 2 stroke motors. And you can find them cheap when the oil injector clogs. Might have to rebuild an engine but it should be cheap.
  15. I would like to see pictures of the IED. Now anything has the potential to be an IED but not everything that looks like an IED is an IED. Good to take precautions because all it takes is one IED and we will loose a few more freedoms for the sake of security.
  16.   That is a small bucket cut in half and stuck on the carburetor.
  17. Not Atlantic but AGS Armament.   http://www.agsarmament.com/
  18. Probably for the wheelie stands.
  19. LOL   The Pinto probably reduced tailgating more than anything else before or since.
  20. Matter of fact if they could get a real count I bet there were substantially more magazines in Colorado a week after the magazine ban than a week before.
  21. Not going to be a very long series. How long can some Californians last against zombies without firearms? Or worse yet, how are they able to kill zombies when the guns are all locked up in their storage containers.
  22. Here is one of the vendors that coats firearms. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/forum/101-amendment-2-custom-coatings/
  23. Without a doubt you want to use Cerakote. It is more durable, thinner and dries quicker.   As far as who to do it, we have a few on this board that are vendors and can easily do it.
  24. Only more thing you can buy 1911 parts EVERYWHERE. you can find th at gun shows, gun shops and all over the place online. Matter of fact you can buy every single part for a 1911, except the receiver, on eBay.
