  1. I have seen ammo coming into the Kinzel Way store in Knoxville on several occassions. They are getting ammo in almost every day but they say they sell it as they are unpacking it. The worker said it is the same guy buying it most days. Not sure if it is a dealer but sounds like it if he is buying every caliber they get in.   Maybe they suspended the ordering because they don't want irate customers when it takes a month or two to get what they ordered. I know the sporting goods manager at the Kinzel store wouldn't even entertain the thought of ordering most ammo. I know he has told me civillians should not be able to get HP's or be able to own 1911's. He is one of those "you only need a bolt action" kind of guys.   Dolomite
  2.   I do on several occassions and it turns my stomach to see their way of thinking as well as the outright lies they tell.   Dolomite
  3. That is a thought. The left has started to hit those that support us. Perhaps we should take a play from our adversaries and send emails to those who advertise with MSN to let them know they have lost a customer. Dolomite ETA: Sorry punisher I accidentally hit the delete button on the post when I was trying to quote you.
  4. Let me check. I might have a few you can have laying around.   Dolomite
  5. I was trying to make a joke. The title made it sound like a leftist, liberal needed some advice. That was the reason I posted what I did.   I guess what was going through my head in the wee hours of the morning didn't come out so well on the screen.   Sorry about the confusion and I appologize if I upset you. It was not intended.   Dolomite
  6. The buffer will not come out while shooting. It will not affect function at all. I have a rifle that does not have a buffer retainer and has thousands of rounds through it. Other than a PITA when removing the upper or cleaning the gun it will not be an issue.   Can you post a picture? Sure it isn't the buffer retainer being out of spec?   Dolomite
  7. My kits are available and ready to ship. No shortage here, no price hikes and a 100% money back guarantee.   Dolomite
  8. They say everybody has a twin in this world. :)   Dolomite
  9. It has been a while. Seems like we used to ahve them a few times a year but none as of late.   Dolomite
  10. I read the title and was getting ready to tell you where to shove it. There are a few pieces of advice I would give to a lefty but not you.   Dolomite
  11. How about a warning first. There could have been kids around that might have seen that. It would have traumatized them for life.   Dolomite
  12. The TICS check started in the last 3-5 years. It was more about catching stolen firearms as well as preventing those who aren't allowed to own them from getting them back. It was done for pawnshops but also applies to guns placed on consignment at a regular gunshop as well.   Dolomite
  13. +1,000   I have never called him a coward but I have called him a fool, a tool and probably a few other names but never a coward. And what he did from the fight was over until a few seconds ago has proven he is a fool, tool and idiot. And no matter what happens he will continue to be what he has become.   Dolomite
  14. I found a local store that had thousands sitting on the shelves two days ago. They have had ammo the entire time and have not raised prices yet. A few members here know about it and one of them bought a lot of the 22's the shop had.   The ammo is out there you just need to think small. You are not going to find it at Walmart or any other big box retailer but at small shops.   Dolomite
  15. The lower being milspec has zero to do with the buffer tube. If it was a milspec buffer tube they would have mentioned it. By default a buffer tube will be commercial unless it says milspec. I always buy commercial stocks because they will fit both a milspec tube and a commercial tube.   You can order and replace the buffer tube but I suspect you will have a wait as most parts are tied up right now because of the increase in demand.   The vast majority of guns being produced today have commercial buffer tubes rather than milspec. And for this reason there are more commercial stocks on the market than milspec ones.   Milspec does not mean they are top quality. It just means they made a "D" or better on their report card which is what is needed to pass. I have used and abused both and have never had either fail me. Some people think that milspec guarantees it will be better than something that isn't milspec but that is not the case. Milspec is what is required to meet the standards in the Technical Data Package for a given item. Some of the best items for an AR is not milspec. Monolithic uppers are not milspec, Pmags are not or at least weren't milspec and Noveske SS barrels are not milspec even though they outperform milspec items. Melonite treatment of barrels is much better than chrome lining but melonite is not milspec, at least not yet.   Dolomite
  16. If you open the white box the 100 round packs will say Magnum on them.   Dolomite
  17. And when you pick your pawned firearm up you will still need to complete a TICS background and pay the $10. Even if it was you that dropped it off and were the one picking it back up. Dolomite
  18. You do not have to have proof a law has been broken to obtain a search warrant. A search warrant is used to search for evidence that a law has been broken. Search warrants will be issued and various agencies. I will be very surprised if he was not charged or at leadt investigated under 18 USC with all the media coverage. Look at Ted Nugent's case to see what is, at a minimum of what is going to happen to Yeager. The key difference is Yeager made threats against "people" and is likely to be viewed as a threat against the public. And as screwed up as it is it is the world we live in. And all this started long before O took office. The vast majority of our privacy rights and rights in general were lost long before 2008. The country demanded we protect ourselves from the terrorists and that is what has lead to where we are now. There is no such thing as a justice system anymore. You can look at the sentencing and see that. What we have now is a legal system. Dolomite
  19. http://www.wsmv.com/story/20559778/tn-firearms-instructor-gains-attention-from-youtube-rant?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=8167819 At 3:36 in the video has states he is going to shoot anyone who comes to take his guns. This is long after he was probably warned hundreds of times. He loves to be "radical" as he says but that only draws attention and in this case more than he will probably be able to handle. We are finding ourselves be represented by idiots we did not choose and I, for o e, would like Yeager to quit representing me. Dolomite
  20. I suspect Yeager is about to get some inches. Maybe not where he had hoped.   Dolomite
  21. I will say this OPSEC is the first part of preparing to meet you enemy. Yeager has forgotten this and laid out his plans for all the world to see. Now his tools to resist are going to be taken away. Just because someone doesn't want to jump on here or on national television and scream their plans doesn't mean they are cowards. What it does mean is they are not fools like Yeager. How effective can you be against an adversary if you tell the adversary what you are going to do? And anyone that does lay out their plans, on here or anywhere else, is a fool just like Yeager.   Yeager has secured his fate and ensured he will not have as many guns if anything kicks off. There are several alphabet agency's securing search warrants right now to seize his firearms, ammunition and his records. His fight is not going to stop with TDOS, the feds are going to use a sigmoidscope, shoved so far up his ass that it tickles his tonsils, to look for any more weapons before everything is said and done. We will read about it in a week or two about him having stockpiles of ammunition and weapons. As well as a few other things he isn't supposed to have. They are going to secure computers and financial records. Then he will be used as evidence in hearings that will no doubt have an impact on all of us legal gun owners.   Also, think about this. Yeager has probably kept records of every single student. He, and his alumni, could loosly be termed an "organization" by stating his alumni are "waitiing for orders". And with Yeager making threats like he has the feds are going to secure those lists during the search and begin looking into them. And Yeager gave them the ammunition, so to speak, to be able to do it. The secondary investigations may not go far but Yeager opened that door.   I can say without a doubt I have spent more time in his shoes while overseas than he ever has. I have worked for several companies and paid my dues during that time. And yes, I have taken fire and done so on more than one trip and multiple times each trip. I have lost several friends over there. I will not second guess what Yeager did during the ambush, it could have been his first. What I will second guess him on is his willingness to blame everyone else except himself in his reports after the fact. Did him taking the car out of gear cause those people to die? I don't know but it sure didn't help them live.   I have said it before and I will say it again, Yeager is a tool and has been for a very, very long time. He was fired from his LE job then got into contracting and was going to be fired from it as well had the “incident” not secured his fate with ERSM. He managed to find the only place he couldn't be fired from, his own company. But the feds are fixing to fire him from that one as well.   He has said in subsequent interviews he will kill anyone who tries to take his guns. I suspect he will get his chance.   Dolomite
  22. Wonder when his next video will come out. More importantly I wonder if he will show some humility. I wonder how it will affect his business or any of his licensing. Dolomite
  23. You guys do realize the committee that determines whether a proposed bill can go forward or not has said Feinstein's proposed bill is not going any farther? They announced this earlier this week but we are not seeing it anywhere in the media. But the committee has said they have not ruled on the high capacity magazine bill yet.   Dolomite
  24. Aim surplus had some in stock earlier today. It was the cheap Remington and only $12.99 a box if I remember correctly.   Dolomite
  25. Write them and tell them. I know I did.   Dolomite
