Not a problem. A lot of people think it is a quick and/or painless death but it couldn't be farther from the truth. Most poisons they sell are a lot quicker as well as a lot more humane. Personally I will never use any type of poison.
-
Antifreeze causes crystals to form in the kidneys and then they quit functioning like they should. It can take days for the body's poisons to build up enough to cause death. Basically the animal dies of kidney failure but the build up of crystals in the kidneys is also painful. Ask any vetrinarian how it affects animals. It is horrendous.

They actually can't see very well. They are literally almost blind. You can walk slowly up to them and hit them with a shovel. They will spray in their death throws so be careful. Don't you own a crossbow? Seems like that would be the first choice. I know anytime I have to shoot at odd hours no one is the wiser. Antifreeze is cruel and pretty sure it is illegal to use as a poison. I would rather be sprayed than know I poisoned any animal with antifreeze. It takes days for an animal to die and it is excruciating for the animal.

Detroit, bankrupt & in ruins.
Dolomite_supafly replied to RichardR's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
This has a much larger impact than just Detroit. When the feds come in and save Detroit then every other city having financial problems will now file hoping the feds will help them out. There will be a rush to file by all these cities in hopes of getting a bailout before the well runs dry. Every city, large or small, will want the same treatment as Detroit and the nation would not be able to bear that burden. -
I might have to try another ACE folder. When mine developed the wobble they checked it out and they said it was normal.
-
That is absolutely amazing. What is amazing is how effective it would be for personal use. Right now you have to pick between light or thick to get decent protection from rifle rounds. If 1.6" will stop a 50 BMG I bet 1/2" would stop most rifle rounds. I know it says transparent aluminum but I wonder if it actually processes like metal. If it does then it is another amazing break through. I remember seeing Star Trek when they taked about transparent aluminum when saving some whales. I thought to myself that would be an amazing day. Hopefully it has arrived because having a transparent metal would change the world.

They use a 10-32 screw, if I remember right, and it is pretty straightforward. The stock itself has about a 1/2" of vertical adjustment as well as a little wiggle room for cant. From talking to you, you have the skills to do it. Personally I don't like ACE folders because they ALL have a little wobble in them. The first, and last, one I bought had about a 1/2" of vertical wobble at the buttpad. I sent it back for a replacement because I thought it was a defective stock but was refunded my money because they said all ACE folders have that wobble. Bonesteel Arms makes a better folder but it will not work on the Draco.
-
Adding teh aACE stock is pretty easy. You just have to drill and tap the rear of the Draco receiver. The Draco has a steel back plate already welded on place because it comes as a pistol. Do your Form 1 and when it comes back you drill and tap the Draco. The top cover looks like a Texas Weaponary setup. Nice looking setup. I have wanted one for a while now but prices are kind of crazy.

I made one for 300 Blackout but don't have one for 223. I have plenty of time so it doesn't bother me if it takes longer. -

Powder coating the easy way
Dolomite_supafly replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
If you place your lubed bullets on the screen and bake them at 200 degrees the lube will melt right off. BTW, I have shot the powder coated bullets past 3,200 fps without any leading. -

I talked to Mary quite a bit a few years ago. She is a great lady. Heck, I used to donate regularly to them to help them do what they do. I even ousted several members of a security company in Alabama after their resumes looked like they were all war heroes. The biggest indicator to this one was a LT who claimed to be in SF. No LT can be in SF, CPT or higher. I still have copies of their records on my computer. It all started with a post about a convicted rapist reaching self defense to women. Then I started looking into all the other employees at a security firm. Every one of them had MAJOR problems with what they were saying vs what their records showed. Here is a 17 page train wreck of them being ousted. The good stuff starts about page 13. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/833996__ARCHIVED_THREAD____Check_out_this_Elite_Response_Team_photos_UPD_PG14_Confirmed_poser.html&page=1 -
I know some people who should probably be co-plaintiffs.

The Savages feel like cheap, plastic play guns. I will say they are light as EVERYTHING on the gun is plolymer. The trigger has to be at least 15 pounds as well. When I first seen it I got really excited until the clerk handed it to me then I realized it is going to be a collectors item on day when sales don't do very well. As far as the Chiappa offering I don't think it is that bad. The rail section behind the trigger is probably for some sort of grip. Like this: It would make the gun more comfortable to shoot for sure. For a true survival gun I think it is still a little too heavy at over 3 pounds but it is lighter than most other guns. Picture from here: http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/grips/vertical-grips/ar-15-vertical-forend-grip-prod8775.aspx

Still trying to make an above retail profit on AR's.

He can ask whatever he wants, it is his stuff. We cannot dictate what something is worth only the market can. If you think it is too much then don't buy it or make him a offer you feel comfortable with. The market determines what the value is something is and right now 22 is hard to find so prices are going to be higher. Just like 6 months ago when AR's were going high because their was a shortage of them but now that are pretty much back to normal because the supply has normalized. How would you feel if someone came in and told you what to sell your home, your car or anything else for? -
