Krylon, and pretty much any spray paint, becomes very durable with time. I painted my wife's 9mm AR and when I tried to remove it 5 years later it was more than just wiping it down with acetone or using carb cleaner. I disassembled it and wrapped it in paper towels then put all that in a large bag. Then I poured about a 1/2 gallon of acetone in the bag and sealed it. Then I set it out in the hot summer sun for a day. And even then there were some places that were difficult to get the paint off. I know that when you bake Krylon it becomes as durable as well.   If I am needing something black I use chalkboard paint from Walmart. After baking it is very, very durable and dare I say even more durable than Duracoat. The chalkboard paint has something in it to help it stand up to chalk and that seems to contribute to its durability.   I will never use anything but rattle cans for painting my guns. It is cheap and easy to fix. And if I change my mind it is cheaper and easier to get off the gun.   When I paint my guns I use flats, semi glos and gloss because not every leaf you see in nature is a flat green color. I think it gives the gun some depth too.

I can go a lot lighter. It just that it takes more than 10 minutes to do. I have done a lot that were well under 3 pounds and reliable.

I would reconsider. They are not as good as the CMMG or most other 22 uppers. Their bolt hold open doesn't work. The safety isn't like a standard AR. And finally you cannot swap out most parts because they are proprietary. I have read articles about their pot metal, yes pot metal, receivers breaking.

If it not pinned then it must be either fused using a welder or it must be fused using solder that exceeds 1,100 degrees.   The easiest to remove would be to pin it then weld over the pin. To remove you just need to grind down past the weld and release the pin then spin the flash hider off. You will destroy the flash hider in the process but it is cheaper than destroying the flash hider AND the barrel.

I want POE because I will be running cameras a long distance, about 100 yards. Ethernet cable is about the cheapest option out there.

What these idiots in Washington don't realize is that when this all goes up in smoke it will affect them the most. If inflation suddenly went through the roof those of us at the bottom will be affected the least because by that time most of us won't have any savings left but those on top will loose a lot of value of the money they have sitting in their accounts.   According to the treasury secretary interest rates on money the government borrows to pay its bills has already tripled as of this past Monday. If we were having problems keeping up before we are really going to have a hard time now. When asked if the government bonds, that are normally rock solid investments, would be unaffected the treasury secretary could not say that they wouldn't be affected. That was yesterday and we will see a MAJOR impact in the markets from that statement alone. Imagine if the market was flooded with people trying to sell their government bonds or if there was a rush to cash them out or if you were told they could not be redeemed or that they are now worthless.  The Senate tried to pass a bill to prevent the default and even they could not pass a resolution to send to Congress to try to prevent a default. It is not looking good and we are likely less than a week away from the US government being out of money. I spent most of the day Saturday watching the discussions on the default and I am truly scared. We normally have a $50B buffer from day to day but as of yesterday it was below $30B according to the treasury secretary. And he said when that is gone we are 100% broke and will not be able to pay anyone we owe.   If we default now it will likely be years before we see anything resembling normal. A month or two after we go into a full default, when other countries are refusing to sell us goods on credit any longer, I believe most people are going to start loosing their minds. But before that those who have been leeching for generations will begin looting and stealing because they no longer get what they think they are entitled to. And when that happens we will be transformed into a third world country. And we, as a country, are not prepared for the amount of civil unrest that we are really close to seeing now. And because of our international policies you are going to see very few countries come to our aid like we have for them.   I absolutely do not want the country to go into default because it will affect every one of us like we have never seen it before. But in the end something needs to happen because our fiscal path is unsustainable.   Am I ready for any of this? I don't think there is anyone who is ready.   For me I am not going to get the money I get from the VA for my injuries. I use it to pay my mortgage but I have a plan in place for the long term if that happens. 

They are going to have lot to lot issues because they are cast and all cast items, regardless of metal, will vary.   If weight savings is what you want grab a polymer lower. At least a plastic lower will be easier to repair than the MG-G4's aluminum/magnesium blend.

30-30 is more gun than the 300 Blackout but the Blackout is capable of 200 yard deer shots. Shot placement is everything though.

Their gunsmith is a very talented guy. He is also a great guy from talking to other smiths in the area. With that being said it will take a lot for CCA to overcome at least a decade of upsetting people. I hope so because we can always use another gun store.

It is a stock, not a gun that is being sent in.   Also, just so you know repairs on firearms are totally different than the sale of a firearm. You can ship a firearm directly to a manufacturer and they will ship it directly back, even a replacement gun with a different serial number, to you without going through a FFL. And finally, any sale of any firearm within the border of Tennessee doesn't require an FFL transfer. I have sold, and mailed, firearms to people here in the state after verifying their residency without using an FFL and it is perfectly legal.

Here is what I did to stop the calls. I received 18 calls in two hours one day then I did this. I had never received any calls prior to this or at least not like this. And since doing this I have not received any. I found the "disconnected telephone tone" on YouTube. I recorded the two second tone as my answering machine message. Just the tone, not the rest of it where the operator says the line has been disconnected. Now when a computer calls and my recording plays the computer that hears the tone logs my number as being disconnected. And within 10 calls of doing this, which all were answered with my answering message, the calls totally stopped. You could even add your normal voice message after the tones. Your human caller won't think anything of the tone followed by your voice but to a computer calling you your line is disconnected.

He was even trying to add a torque wrench to it as well. In the end the torque wrench version was going to be very expensive so he dropped it.

You get the same effect with whatever you squirt in your suppressor. I use hand sanitizer as suppressor coolant. After the first shot the action is soaked in it. Same thing if I shoot the suppressor with WD-40, water or wire pulling gel even though they don't work as well as the hand sanitizer.

As much of a 300 Blackout fan I am I must say the 6.5 Grendel would be better for a less than ideal shot. 300 Blackout is more than capable of taking deer at 200 yards but the 6.5 has more energy to put an animal down quickly. I would also look at the 300 OSSM. It is much better than either and any standard AR15, not AR10, can be chambered in it. It almost duplicates the 308 Winchester. If I were to use the 300 BO to take deer I would push a 110-125 grain bullet as fast as humanly possible.

There are 22lr that use zinc rather than lead. It isn't very widespread but I remember seeing it a few years ago.

I will say that 90% of the the time the gas port on the gas block is larger than the port so it wouldn't matter but I have seen a couple that were small enough that a misalignment could affect flow. Best thing to do is compare the gas ports. I normally measure from the edge of the gas block to the center of the port on the gas block. Then compare that to the distance from the shoulder to the center of the gas port on the barrel. If there is a difference then you need to figure out of the port on the gas block is big enough that is doesn't matter. If it does then you need to offset for the thickness of the handguard retainer, .040".

Also, take into account for the handguard retainer. The gas block should not sit flush against the barrel shoulder because of this. The handguard retainer is .040" thick so the gas block will sit .040" farther back if you do not take that into account. 10 sheets of paper is about the right thickness.   You will need to center it both side to side and front to back.
