Price of lead (And price of bullets?) going to go up?
Dolomite_supafly replied to a topic in Ammunition and Reloading
No clue. last year when I contacted them they were selling it for $1 a pound in any alloy I wanted. Problem was it had to be a 2,000 pound order and I had to cover shipping. At the time I was getting lead pretty regularly so I never gave it a second thought. They were also the largest lead acid battery recycler in the US. -

How about this. We get together and I fix it for you. I can solve the problem in about 10 minutes or have it figured out.. -

Not to mention the cost of everything else made using lead. The electronics industry is probably the biggest user of lead. Or the battery industry. Another instance where our country will have to rely on another. I contacted Doe Run last year about buying lead. Their prices were better than anyone else and they guaranteed the alloy. -
22 Hornet brass is very thin. You will ruin several every time you go to reload a batch. The brass cannot be made out of anything else and can be expensive. They made the same gun in 221 Fireball which can be easier to load. You can also use 223 brass to make 221 Fireball brass. The 221 Fireball is a little hotter as well but can easily be loaded down to milder velocities.

I am ordering it as I post this. -
He had no illusions, he was just being lazy so we gave him plenty of time to be lazy.

Talk about a dumb ass. We had a guy who made some "body armor" out of cardboard when I was overseas. He said he did it because he got tired of carrying all that weight around. After finding this out we promptly fired him and sent him home.

That is insane. Hopefully it doesn't cost anyone their life but if it does hopefully they can charge the seller for something. This is the the most disgusting thing I can think of. That is why you buy from known sources and not from people you might never meet again. When I bought mine I walked in the PACA plant, which is just outside Knoxville, and had a custom set made. Cost me more but I know that mine is 100% real. Makes you wonder how many of the hard armor plates or helmets sold at the shows are real as well. They are both sold through airsoft retailers and are identical in size, weight and markings but won't stop a 22. They are made out of fiberglass rather than aramid fibers. Even if the cermic plates are real how would one know if they were not cracked?

My wife has talked about having reservations about shooting someone. She has said she is not sure she could do it. That was until the day my brother tried to kill us. I think it scared her bad enough that it is no longer a question whether she would do it or not. She knows that I will not heistate for a second if I need to protect my family and now I don't think she would either. That day was the most scared I have ever been, not because I might have to shoot someone but because I might have to shoot my brother. Fortunately for both of us he had a change of plans and fled into the woods near our house when he heard the sirens. We had SWAT sitting in the creek in our front yard guarding the house incase he came back. He was taken into custody later that day after a standoff.

Ted....Nugent for President?

Yep, it is only those two that are responsible. -
Take the safety lever out and file the back side where it is rubbing if it bothers you. After a while it will fix itself if you don't do anything.

Go down to your local Walmart, they sell them. You might get it a little cheaper. At least you can get hands on before buying. They also have a cheaper version that is $189 that is a 2 focal plane without illum. I will say that those scopes are heavy for what they are, good or bad depending on what you think. For a quick throw lever they sell these and the best part is they work on any scope. http://www.amazon.com/Breakaway-Nylon-Coasters/dp/B009SPDU3C Originally they were used to hold reels to rods. -
And let the management know the reason why you are there is because they are gun friendly. They probably don't hear it as often as they should.

I felt sorry for the guy..... so I did something about it.

I think the opposite would happen, especially if the customer called the OP's boss and told him. I know if I were his boss I would do something nice for him for doing it. -

What he did is pretty disgusting too. -
I think Garufa has or had one. I shot it and it worked and felt fine. Seemed accurate enough as well.

Now I like Ted Nugent but before anyone puts him in an ivory tower you may want to look up his history. He has a bunch of kids, 8 with 5 out of wedlock, and this "family man" fought hard to keep from paying child support for some of them. Eventually he was ordered to pay but it seems like he would have done the rightthing in the first place and take care of his kids. Then there was the incident involving the 17 year old Pele Massa when he was ~30. Because he coudn't legally marry her he convinced the parents to give him guardianship. But rather than marry her like he promised he sent her on her way when he was done with her. I support his views on guns but not much else. -
We all know he is surrounded by all his breezies. Fo shizzle my nizzle :)

Probably upset the people he was talking about.

Have you converted it? If so what hammer did you use? Are you using the factory magazine? What year is it? You can find it below the oval marking on the left side. What is going on? Any mods? Like gas pucks, adjustable gas block, springs ets...
