THP using BIg rigs to catch texting and driving
Dolomite_supafly replied to kckndrgn's topic in General Chat
Ask LumberJack about texting and driving. He will tell you how serious it is. He got lucky, very lucky while the other driver sent her last text moments before the impact. It is worse than drunk driving according to most studies you read. And I can guarantee there are more injuries and deaths caused by testing and driving than by DUI, at least for young adults. -
I hope every family that receives that letter sues her on behalf of their children's "emotional damage". Make sure she cannot afford to give out candy or afford the paper for another letter. This can cause long lasting emotional problems for a child.

I do not konw specifically about the Kimber but I do know that some guns have a "tapered" barrel. This allows enough clearance for the gun to cycle reliably while locking up as tight as possible for accuracy.
-
Yeah, there is plenty. Just need to figure out which brand as they are not all the same. I posted this a while back to help a guy figure out which brand would work with his shotgun.
-
Did you use it to catch any foxes or to get any beaver?

I really like the Saiga rifle stocks. So much so I run one on my S12. For a grip I run a Molot and a ACE for a stock. The only difference between your S12 and mine is mine has HK sights welded on and the Saiga rifle stock. I even hae the CSS trigger guard and the auto plug. The only thing left to do to mine is cutting and permanently attaching a flash hider. Well that and thread the barrel for an inside choke.

Do not shoot the dog unless it is a threat to you or your animals. Catch it and turn it over to the animal shelter. The neighbors may be saying it isn't their dog but if you shoot it they can make your life miserable if they can convince the authorities you shot the family dog. And despite what some people think, killing a companion animal is against the law unless it is a threat. Also, you want to really piss someone off then kill their kid's pet. At least if you turn it over to a shelter they can get it back and it might cost them money. Money is the biggest motivator to people like this. As far as the kids throwing rocks I would approach the parents and ask them politely to keep their kids from throwing rocks on your property. Next step would be to have a letter delivered in writing saying the same thing. Then after that I would go through the courts and ask for a court order preventing it. I am not sure LE can, or should, be involved in what is a civil matter. During this whole time I would try to get as much video evidence as you can to support your court case as well as for proof when they decide to damage your property.

That is NOT a copperhead.
-
I have never seen a 4 foot copperhead. The picture is not like any copperhead I have ever seen and I have seen my fair share. The head of a copperhead is a lot more triangulated and the markings are a lot more pronounced.

Here is an amazingly heroic act on the part of a single guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=8AevLyTR6lM#t=136 Guy runs up and throws a hand grenade down the barrel of a tank. Good or bad it is still an amazing act of bravery. Jump to 2:00 to see it.

Why would you want to change your name to that? But your wish is my command.
-
Cool. I consider them a vital piece of equipment for those that reload as well as long range shooters. Also glad to see the name thing got sorted out. It wasn't my doing.

That is not Syrian the narrator is speaking. Some sort of Slavic language. I have spents days watching the Syrian war. It is interesting the amount of ingenuity they have.

When will we stop adding ammo to the Anti Gun ammo bag?
Dolomite_supafly replied to a topic in General Chat
The anti gun crowd already tried to make it the manufacturers fault and that didn't work so now it is on to the actual owners. I bet if it is used in a crime it will be spun as her husband's fault and not the criminal's. I should not be compelled to do anything I do not want to with my property, like lock guns in a safe. If I lay all my guns out on my front yard and they are stolen it is not my fault, it is the fault of the criminal that stole them. Yes I would be stupid for doing it but it would not be my fault. I honestly wish theft was a much more serious crime than it is. I would be for a mandatory minimum of years in jail but as it stands someone can have dozens of convictions for theft and as long as no one is physically hurt they get no jail time. Theft is the first step in most career criminal's lives and if we can severely punish them there I think a lot of the more serious crimes committed later by career criminal would be reduced. Criminals today know that their time in jail is going to be an easy road if, and that is a big if, that actually do any time. The criminals need to feel some discomfort or they will continue to break the law. Once they are convicted and sent to prison they should not be comfortable. They should be provided with food, shelter, safety and medical care. They have no consitutional right to a television. They should have no right to conjugal visits so they can produce another child I am going to have to support. No radios, drawing supplies or any commissary. And the food should meet nutrition requirements, not taste requirements. Do like what has been done with those who throw food. Blend the entire meal together into a slurry then add flour and bake it like a giant bisquit. I am talking about the meats, veggies, desserts, fruits and drinks all into a single bisquit. It works well and meets the nutritional requirements. I am sure it would be easy for a company to produce "jail bisquits" and it would be cheaper than most of the current meals that are prepared for inmates. Inmates should not eat and live better than our soldiers serving overseas. -
Did you submit fingerprints and have the CLEO sign off? If not you will likely have to do it before it is approved. That is a proposed change to federal regulations that should go into effect pretty soon now. All trustees have to go through the same process as doing it as an individual. I was going to do a trust but could not see the benefit for me. My stuff can transfer for free after my death. I was going to do a trust so friends could use my stuff but once the background came up I didn't want to do that to them. BTW, I have heard the recent estimate at 15 months. Mine have been in the works since April 1st.

Have you ordered your adjustable gas block yet? -
Some say that the XXX blocks are roller blocks but that is not the case. They can be but not all are. They all have the mounting pads for the spider but depending on the engine you might have to drill and tap the pads. I have found them that were not drilled and some that were. Here are a few pictures, not mine though: From here:http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/302-xxx-block.720145/page-2 And another: From here: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/classic-talk/23562-difference-between-302-302-ho.html And here is another that is not tapped: From here:http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1030076-302-roller-blocks.html You can also see how the block in the last picture is more "bright". They almost look like brushed nickle once you remove the paint.

Where did you pick it up from?

Contact TGO David for vendor pricing. You cannot come on here and compete with our paying vendors by advertising for free. We would like for you to become a vendor but you must follow the rules. You should have received an email regarding this. Thanks Dolomite

Good choice. I have used several different kinds of optics and Aimpoints tends to be one of the more reliable ones.
-
Check out Gilberts guns. They have some of the lowest prices, on some things, I have seen in a long time. They also ship fast.

Here is "the making" video for that one above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc5HUS8dLN0 In the first 25 seconds he says it is fake.
