  1. Depends, I met plenty of fair skinned Afghans whose father was Russian. Matter of fact the majority of fair skinned Afghans were red headed.   Today was a decent day for me.   But even so my injuries are not easily seen and very few people have seen me at my worst. I do walk with a limp and guard myself when I can if I am not using my crutches. And as much as they help me I also hate them. Most days, even bad ones, I can stand for 15-20 minutes at a time but regardless of whether it is a good or a bad day I spend most days in bed because both standing and sitting is very bothersome for me. Good days are 16-18 hours in bed and bad days are 22+ hours, makes getting anything done a pretty big deal. Sometimes I am working on or cleaning guns in bed because I would fall if I were to be on my feet any longer. And even though I sometimes think she doesn't like it she doesn't complain about it. I fall a few times a week and since I took three nasty spills, one right after the other, last fall it seems like it is much worse and that I never get time to heal between falls. And that is why my projects take so much longer now than before. About the time I get everything setup and get into it I am starting to really feel it so it is off to bed.   My wife helps me get dressed, helps me bathe and does most things I took for granted before but are unable to do now. Trust me when I say I wish she did not need to help me but without her I am not sure what I would do. She ties my shoes and basically needs to do everything around the house which really bothers me. I have lost control of a lot of functions below the waist. I piss myself daily, most times it is just a little bit because I think I am done then 30 seconds after I have buttoned up my bladder finishes emptying. Other times it feels like I haven't pissed in a week and even though my bladder is empty it feels like it isn't, that is the worst feeling. Or the sudden "I got to take a crap right now" feeling. Literally 30 seconds between the feeling I have to go and going. That is another BIG reason I stay home because I would hate to crap myself in the car.   Like I have said before, to a lot of people I may not seem that bad but I will only go out, or meet people, during my good days. During the bad days I do nothing other than lay in bed. It sucks but it is how I have to deal with it. Riding in a vehicle, because I am sitting, is also very painful for me and ensures the next day or two will be spent in bed so I avoid it if possible. I get out of the house about once every 7-10 days.   I realized a long time ago it could be a lot worst. I could be dead or be burned to a point where I would be unable to do anything, including typing on here. I know people who are a lot worse off than I am so I try not to complain too much about my situation because compared to some mine is like having a splinter or a hangnail.   But yeah, getting ready and taking these pictures was fun for me. I enjoyed it and thought you guys might get a kick out of it as well.
  2. Century builds tend to be hit or miss. But even then if you order one from a decent company that will offer a warranty you should be fine.   I bought an AK pistol from JG Sales and it was fine but did need a bit of a tweaking of the sights. I never contacted them about a repair on that gun but I did contact them before ordering the second one. They said that if there is a problem I would have to pay to ship the gun back and then pay again to get it back. That would end up being very, very expensive so I decided not to order the gun from J&G Sales. Now I have placed about 5 orders for magazines and other stuff from them and all has been good. Matter of fact a shipment of magazines was lost a few weeks ago by UPS and J&G sent replacements before the UPS investigation had time to complete.   The AK pistol I ordered last week will be coming from CNC Warrior. They had the best price and offer a certification process. It costs $20 to have them go through and make sure it is 100% perfect. It would cost more than the $20 to ship a gun back if there is a problem. With their certification they ensure the sights are straight, they zero it, make sure the wood is good as well as clean the gun and ensure it is rust free. Definitely a deal when you consider it will cost a lot more than that to get it repaired or send it back for a replacement.
  3. So today was a beautiful day, such a beautiful day that my wife and I decided to dress up and take a photo to remember. And a few without the wife.
  4. AKs need nothing. Just buy from a reputable builder and you will have no problems.   I have one in 223 and just ordered one in 7.62x39. The 223 one has been 100% reliable.
  5. Those in the video are attacking because of one thing, their victim is not like them. It should be a hate crime but it will not be because, according to race baiters, minorities cannot be racists but there are plenty of attacks that prove that some minorities are racist. And the reason why a lot of them are racist is because of the race baiters, like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, have told them they have a right to hate everyone else except themselves for the sad socio-economic situation that they have put themselves in. I suspect from a very early age a lot of minorities are told to hate those that are not like them and this hate is starting to boil over in the form of violence because those racists are attacking more and more often. It is these types, the race baiters and those who follow them, that will continue to attack because they are not being held accountable. Every single person involved should be charged and in a case like that the shooter trying to defend himself should not be charged if any member of the mob is killed.   This will not get a single second of air time. And if by some freak chance it is aired the race baiters will come along to down play it, make excuses and then blame those being attacked for provoking it.
  6. They are true animals in every sense of the word.   I can honestly say that I would go to prison if it were me, or anyone I loved, being attacked like that. The reason is because I would try to kill everyone involved even if they are not attacking because being there supporting those who are attacking should carry the same consequences as those doing the attacking. Don't want to die then don't hang around those that should be killed.   That is the exact reason why I roll around armed like I am in a warzone, because you never know when you might find yourself in one. And because I am white I will be crucified if I have to kill a minority that is killing me.
  7. I don't mind paying for some birds to get released. Doesn't mean I have to shoot them.
  8. Have you friend, that was robbed, to contact KCSO because they have jurisdiction over KPD. And if KCSO does not do what he thinks is fair contact TBI as they are the next jurisdiction above KCSO.
  9. I call BS on ANY LE agency not investigating an armed robbery. Especially an agency as large as KPD or KCSO. How about a link to his post about not having a robbery investigated on FB?   LE are not required to know every law but they should know where to reference the laws. Laws do change and unless it is a major change most times it goes unknown by most officers. Being updated on law changes is an administration issue not an officer issue. Law changes should be part of annual training but often times it is not that is unless it is a major change.    BTW, I have serious issues with stories from "My uncle's brother's step son's cousin twice removed". If you friend has an issue with how things were handles tell him to call 865 215 2000 and tell the clerk you want to file a complaint against Officer "his/her name here". How about a link to his complaint about the traffic stop on FB?
  10. Giving this a bump.   I NEED a place to shoot a shotgun in the Dunlap area.   Willing to pay for your inconvenience and time.
  11. Personally I would rather see the production efforts going towards making more of TWD episodes. Soap Operas are broadcast daily, can't be that much harder to produce a man's soap opera daily.
  12. Well do you think there are any gay ISIS members? And if there is would they carry a Glock or 1911 and then would it be chambered in 9mm or 45 ACP? And the final question is would they carry it concealed or open?
  13. Do NOT send off the 357. Give me a call if you want to find out why.
  14.   Can't wait to let you.   It is, without a doubt, the gun I enjoy shooting the most at the moment.
  15. I see no problem with it at all.   Anyone should be allowed to worship anything they want.
  16. Looking great. I owned that for a while as well except as 300 Blackout.
  17. +1,000   It was a matter of revenge or securing resources because there have been other countries that have done far worse and we have not gotten involved. As awful as Saddam was he did keep his country, and the region, stable. When we entered Iraq we pretty much had every other Muslim nation in the region declare us as the enemy for killing fellow Muslims.   We will be mired down in the middle east for at least a generation now because those Muslims being born today are going to be taught that the US is the enemy and must be defeated. The only way for us to get out is to defeat, and kill, every Muslim on the planet but that is not going to happen so our "War on Terror" is going to be perpetual from now on. We will never again live in peace as a nation and the government will use every threat as a means to take away a few more freedoms until we are living like those Iraqis we were trying to free from an oppressive regime. The Muslims are not going to give up until they have defeated us. They will not tire of war, they will not quit and they will continue to fight because they are fighting for their God.   Personally Iraq should have been treated exactly how we are treating North Korea now. That is because their capabilities are similar. Neither could actually attack the US and neither are not stupid enough to try.
  18. Only if it is US made. I am kind of close on my parts count. I have steel magazines I cannot use until I get my US muzzle brake in. If I swap out this US made one for a foreign one I cannot use the steel magazines.   The one in the picture is a US made version of the original. http://shop.roninsgrips.com/Russian-Tula-AK-74-mold-6-2-Russian-Tula-6-2.htm   He sells a ton of US made AK stuff: http://shop.roninsgrips.com/main.sc     Minwax Sedona red.
  19. This is the M85 I picked up a few months ago. And after getting a trust from John Wells I decided to do the right thing and SBR it. First I refinished the stocks in a brown satin but it never really appealed to me. So over the past few days I decided to refinish the stocks. The new version is a lot more red and more glossy. Here is what it used to look like And what it looks like now I purchased a M92, 7.62x39 version, and when it gets here it will get the full tactical treatment.

  21. Yep, the core or baffles will never get stick in the can like a lot of 22's.
  22.   For ease of use absolutely. There are plenty of cans that are quieter but none are easier to service. A 22 can MUST be cleaned periodically.
  23. I am needing a place to do a mag dump with a gun I am selling to a buyer.
  24. Have you contacted Century Arms? Who knows, if they are aware of the problem they might fix it for you.
