  1. Same group that brought us this hit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQfg52m0-4o
  2. Forget about the Mite, it is ALWAYS in the bottom three of any silencer list where performance is concerned.   If it were me I would get the SS Sparrow and not look back. People complain about the FRP but a squirt of alcohol based hand sanitizer will cure that.
  3. Just spoke to the management company and the manager was fired. They said they reviewed the tapes from that day and the manager did not need to be working in an environment where there are customers.
  4. The limiting factor is the water and pipe weight being held up at the top.
  5. RED you are probably not thinking of the CCI Quiet 22. They have plenty of velocity to make it out of any gun. They come in an all blue 50 round box with a clear bullet divider inside.
  6. Those work really well. They use a standard 40 grain bullet that is putting along at ~700 fps. Definitely harder hitting than a CB or any of the Aguila primer only rounds. BTW, they will cycle in lever guns and bolt guns. Add a suppressor and they are stupid quiet but even without they would not alarm anyone out of a rifle.
  7. I have a Metro Arms that has close to 4K without a single issue. New it had an extractor issue but after replacing that and a few other parts it has been 100% reliable.
  8. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/42752-how-to-home-made-handpump-for-water-all-parts-at-lowes/   BTW, they use these types of pumps to pull water from hundreds of feet. Mine is at 45 feet and works great. Just make sure to drill the 1/8" holes down 10" from the top otherwise your pump will freeze up solid in winter.   For lighting I use 12v LEDs I bought off of eBay for like $3 each. They are as bright as any incandescent bulb but running off a 12V battery they will run for weeks. I also have a couple of solar panels capable of charging the battery in a day so as long as I have one shiny day a week I have light.
  9. "another", I was thinking a two for one special.
  10. Personally I would rather have FPS than resolution, especially if you are going to video any fast paced stuff. We have a Hero 3 and cannot be happier with it.
  11.   Because it is in an Apple format :)
  12. ALWAYS modify the cheapest part, in this case the pin.
  13. They are not buying braces, they are buying guns. The file contains all purchases made that one day and that includes government purchases, LE, dealers as well as individuals.
  14. I got one coming too. What sucks is a week earlier I bought a regular brace after contemplating waiting for the SBX. At least I will be able to compare them and keep the one I like.   What sucks even more is I registered an AR lower I would have been happy to put the SIG brace on instead registering.
  15. Not one or several. Definitely ordering enough to last them decades.
  16. I now know what dealer pricing is for specific SIG pistols. Definitely something that would be useful if I ever decide to buy a SIG product.   It is also interesting to see government versus dealer versus individual pricing.
  17. I just got the "we screwed up" email from SIG asking me to delete to email.
  18. I got a receipt as well but with somebody else's info. They purchased some magazines and a set of grips for a 226 or 229, can't remember. It is being shipped to SC.   I considered forwarding it to him because it does have his email on the receipt.   Makes you wonder who got our receipts for the SBX braces we ordered.
  19. Yeah, the cost to MAKE any NFA item is $200. Even an AOW costs $200 to make.
  20. Giesselle makes one. http://geissele.com/reaction-rod.html There are several makers.
  21. They make a 22 conversion for the Sig 938 as well as a gun based on the 938 in 22. http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p938-22lr-rosewood.aspx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqUPSM40uc8 Makes for an expensive 22 but it would probably be one of the best out there other than the magazine based slide stop.
  22. Your right, nothing to see here folks. No need for concern. Move along to the next topic.   As far as the ammo prices there is a lot more than fear driving prices up or creating the scarcity. Plenty of new shooters in the market now that weren't here before, which is a great thing. I would gladly take an ammo shortage because all the new gun owners are on our side and the more gun owners we have the better off we are. And along with all those new gun purchases, which we have been hearing about, is a need for ammo. I am sure fear has something to do with it but I believe it is a very, very small amount of what is actually causing the shortage. Gun prices have been dropping steadily for some time now and people who were not able to afford a gun are able to buy one, this is what is creating the shortage of ammunition and not fear. All you have to do is look at the gun sales in the last 6 years to realize that the ammo shortage is from all those extra guns being sold. So the shortage is probably from people trying to feed their recently bought gun and not to stock pile ammunition over fear.   Prices will never be what they were 5 years ago because the cost of materials has gone up, not because of fears. Same reason why cars have increased in price, that is unless there is fear over a looming automobile crisis I am unaware of. There is also the fact distributors now know what the market will bear and have raised their prices to increase their profits. Same thing happened with a lot of things in the past few years, not just ammunition.   I don't sell myself as having the inside scoop to everything, never have, but I have thrown out a warning from time to time and sometimes I am right and sometimes I am wrong. One of my goals here is to help people, by keeping them aware, and if this warning helps someone to avoid the additional burden that is 41p by applying now rather than later then I have helped them. And if 41p never comes to pass then no harm done by applying for that NFA item now but if it does, and no warnings were given, a lot of people would be wishing they had been warned. And even if there was some fear mongering involved there is no way there would be a run on NFA items like we are seeing with ammunition and to compare the two is like comparing apples to donkeys.   Also, if someone has a question I don't mind calling because I am one of the people who can apparently call the ATF without having his dog shot or house raided. BTW, anyone can contact the ATF with their questions, I am not some sort of super secret gateway people must go through to contact the ATF. Yes, I contact the ATF at least every other week and write at least three times a year so I don't mind asking questions for people when I am on the phone.
  23. I ran malware bytes first thing and it found 4-5 things. I do not remember what they were but they were removed.
  24. I hope you are right. But I am planning and submitting anything and everything I can as soon as possible. What is wrong with being concerned? Better to act before than to wish you had after.
