Depends. If they are new brass with primers then I would suggest removing the decapping pin and running them through because the necks can be loose on military brass that has been torn down from loaded ammunition. And if it is new LC brass you probably will need to remove the crimp on the primer pockets as well when you get ready to reload them. I use a cheap 45 degree chamfer bit I bought from the hardware store to do this. Works great and is quick, easy as well as extremely cheap.

BTW, I always recommend having the lower engraved BEFORE submitting. That is because accidents do happen and can you imagine submitting, getting approved then the engraver royally screws something up or it looks like ass. If something does happen you CAN get a refund as long as the item has yet to be built but if it has been assembled and then something goes bad during engraving you cannot get a refund. It does happen and quite often it seems, had a guy on Facebook post the most screwed up engraving job I think I have ever seen. The engraver knew that engraving through anodizing can be problematic with chipping but rather than remove the anodizing he went ahead and did it through the anodizing and it resulted in chipping so bad you can barely read it. And this is not the first time I have seen it, I see it regularly on the various forums I belong to.

Been on a generic version of Sudafed for a few days now. That, along with Claritin, did help some but I still have a nagging drainage problem in the back of my throat.
-
Maybe so but something had to pay for how I have been feeling. Hoping to do a midnight run on the yellow jackets and kill them.

It has been going on for at least 3 months now. Itchy eyes, stopped up nose, itchy throat and all of it seems to get worst in the morning then better throughout the day. Gus seems to wake up stopped up the same days I am. Maybe my current outbreak isn't ragweed related but I can tell you it is something in the air that is doing it. I shut all the windows and have been running the AC fan constantly to cycle the air through our HEPA filter system and it is helping. Our HEPA system was an add on to our HVAC setup, it is not just a filter at the intake but a separate system to clean the air. Since thinking it was ragweed I have started wearing either a mask or a rag over my face when I go out and I am not miserable like I was a day or two ago. This current round of misery started about a week ago now, maybe a little longer. I tried to deal with it but three days ago I spent all night walking around the house because anytime I would lay down I had a choking feeling from all the phlegm running down the back of my throat. I have literally had less than 12 hours sleep in 4 days now and most are 2 hours or less at a time. We normally mow our hill in front but did not this year and it is wall to wall ragweed. You cant take 3 steps without hitting a plant and some places you can't avoid hitting a plant. I went out earlier, with mask, determined to try to machete them all down. That did not go so well because I managed to find a yellow jacket nest and got stung several times. Poor Gus didn't know what was going on and stood there long enough to get a bunch on him then he ran in the house, been killing yellow jackets in the house since it happened. Hope I got them all because Petra is allergic, as in carry around an Epi Pen allergic. Anyways I am going to try the Allegra D and keep the house buttoned up tight. I just realized I need to go find the machete that I probably threw when I had the yellow jackets on me.

Allegra or Allegra-D? Thinking Allegra D rather than regular Allegra.

Can't do Advil, guaifenesin or alcohol but have been doing the netti pot thing for a few days.

For those of you who have it what is the best medication you have found for treating it? I am pretty sure I have a ragweed allergy. For years we always kept our property cleared well this year we did not and if we could sell ragweed plants we would be millionaires. My symptoms started a few months ago and have since went into overdrive. At first I thought I had a head cold but I do not believe that is the case because it has gone on for so long. My doctor recommends Alegra or Zyrtec. Right now I have been taking Claritin and Sudafed and it helps but it is still pretty bad.

Nothing to be embarrassed about because you learned something. I try to learn something new every day and this probably taught some other people stuff they did not know. And as cheesy as it sounds, but it is true, the only stupid question is the one not asked. -

Don't buy an Aimpoint, get a Primary Arms red dot and take the money saved and file for something else. -

The sig brace cannot add length like a collapsible stock cannot add length or at least that would be my opinion. -

I submitter two this month, one on the 15th and one on the 16th. Based on the last one I should have mine within the next 15 days. -

Depends on the gun type as all receivers are different lengths. Also depends on the buffer tube length. My 7.5" AK makes it with an extended buffer tube, folding hinge and pig nose adapter. I believe 10.5" is the magic number for ARs with an extended buffer tube but I could be wrong so verify. -
My EDC Mini Draco, final version

If there is one thing I am it is cheap, as in finding the best deal on whatever I am looking at buying. And I forgot to tell you standard AK sights are a breeze to remove and install. Plenty of videos on the net explaining it. All you need is a flat tip screwdriver in most cases. -

Do not buy those sights. I paid $20 for mine plus $20 shipping form here: http://www.krebscustom.com/products/172/Vepr-RPK-rear-sight-1000m-(new-takeoff) They have detailed pictures of the sight and they are EXACTLY like in the picture. They will have a 4 digit number underneath from the gun they came off of. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. -

Try to be as precise as possible. I had to write a letter after the ATF told me that 8.5", which I put on the form, was incorrect when my barrel actually was 8.625" long. I asked them if 1/8" really made a difference and they said it could. Now realistically unless you do something to show up on their radar they would probably never know but because I called and asked I wrote a letter. I will also say that if you err do so on the short side because the rule of thumb, from talking to several agents, is for rifles you can always go a little longer but not shorter. This is opposite for suppressors which is you can go shorter but never longer. But again unless you do something to end up on their radar you are probably never going to have an issue. And as long as you can make the gun in the configuration you submitted you are fine. You do not even need to have a complete upper, just the barrel will be fine. -
Also, contact Radical Firearms. I know they were offering some sort of discount/sale on their uppers that dropped the price down to $225. I would let them know you are buying the difference in other parts then order a CH, and a few other items, from them as well.

I would grab a complete upper from Radical Firearms: http://www.radicalfirearms.com/category-s/1853.htm For a BCG I would buy the AIM surplus NiB: http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XAIMBCGNIBBDG They are so much easier to clean and actually add to the looks of the gun. Grab a charging handle from anywhere. I just picked up a US made one for $14 shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251680316003?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It looks great. Milspec stocks and buffer tubes are going to be more expensive. Also there are a lot more offerings for a commercial tube. I bought a NICE commercial tube off of Ebay for $9 shipped and it is the best commercial tube I have ever used. I have actually bought a few more because they are so good. Unfortunately he has raised his prices some. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commercial-Spec-6-position-Aluminum-Buffer-Tube-Aluminum-Receiver-Extension-Tube-/201198169438?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ed8586d5e

I will say that a short barrel changes the feel of an AR.

I was told by a die hard liberal the reason she did not want to have a gun is because she didn't know if she could control herself if she got mad. That goes along with the fact that nearly every mass killer in the last 10 years have been staunch democrats supporting the liberal agenda. Matter of fact I cannot think of any that were considered conservative. And it seems the farther we, as a country, drift to the left the most of these mass killings happen. This was not a mass killing and was nothing more than a jealous boyfriend killing the person who probably took his long time girlfriend away.
