I believe that I am ready to give up the house in a neighborhood and move to the country! Any one want to trade ! I live in West Knoxville and I would love some land , chickens, a garden. Green acres is the life for me!

Wow, we are a diverse bunch! I have over 1500 friends on Facebook, my Church friends, school friends, friends from different places I have lived and my bird friends , oh and family too! I keep in touch with so many bird people because I have 2 parrots, we constantly send pics of our animals and locations! It is fun to compare notes with people around the world! Our Church shares events and prayer request with each other, my family is a little spread out- we send pics and keep in touch! ANYTHING can be abused but just because it is not your cup of tea does not mean it is bad or wrong, kinda like being a gun owner! BTW if you want to be friends on Facebook, I am Carlesia Collier!

I'm easy to spot! Old woman, grandkids( I'm training them good) and lots of guns! How could you miss us!

Don't know about the " average Joe with a scanner" but the " average Jane with an iPad " can listen here in the states and lots of other countries! Australia is a lot of fun to listen to! I check it every now and then, to see if anyone I know got caught! LOL

Boy oh boy, you guys can be rotten!!! But just to set the record straight, my shirt was not "too low", heck I wear that shirt to church, but the round, which was a 40 caliber, hit the top and went straight down! So only a turtle neck would have saved me!! And todayI have a very ugly looking blister! I will consider a badge of honor!!!

Took my new Beretta 96FS to CCA today for Ladies Day! She shoots beautiful!!! A little stronger than I imagined but hey, I am new at this! I also learned another good lesson, getting a hot round down your shirt is no fun! Really guys , could someone not mention that things like that can happen? But all is well and I LOVE my gun!

Hope I figured out how to do the pictures! The rest of my collection will be in Show & Tell!

Yeah, I know, every woman with Rheumatoid Arthritis needs a 40 caliber! But I can rack the slide on this one!! I am a very happy woman! Before anyone ask, I will never tell where I got it or for how much! I will only say I didn't even get dinner first! But it's only money and I am happy with it!

Be careful, if you don't use it at all it may freeze up and that is hard to get over! Maybe something to relax the muscles!

My 60 does not use 357s, all my guns are kinda old. My Colt Trooper is a 357 and if I am shooting, the camera, in the mountains- I either carry it or the 44 mag. But for everyday, I think maybe a 1911 or a XD might be better! Not like I can outrun a BG and I am afraid that even with 2 38's , I might need all the advantages I can get!

My son carries a XD40, but he thinks I should carry pepper spray! I currently carry S&W model 649 and S&W 60. I do a lot of photography and I am mostly alone so I want to be prepared , plus I shot Daddy's guns so good that I just fell in love with it! I have tried different ways , from Cornered Cat, but I don't handle small areas with very much strength. If a gun is "broke in" good would it be easier to rack?

First, I am a grandmother and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis! That being said, I want a good size gun and "no pink"! I recently inherited my father's guns , most revolvers, and I loved shooting them! So I got my HCP. Now I want a semi that will make my son drool! And I think a larger gun will make a difference on the way I hold it so I can rack the slide easier! That has been my main problem! I am not terribly weak, I shoot my S& W 44 mag pretty good! But gripping a small slide with my hands are difficult , any advice would be so helpful! As far as $ goes, maybe around $600, plus I have a few older ones I need to sell because I will never shoot them! This will be my EDC plus I will practice a lot at the range so it should be tough!

I'm 51 and I have no testes but I love my blackberry and my iPad! I go nowhere without both of them and my 38! The iPad has my music, pics, books, and games on it- plus it is 3G so I am always on the Internet and it has an awesome GPS system! My BB is my way of staying connected!

I am in the West Knoxville area and I need advice on a body shop, my car has a lot if hail damage! Hoping to find a good but inexpensive shop. Guys normally know these places better than us women -so any suggestions?
