That , Gentlemen, is an Umbrella Cockatoo! This one has more than likely lost its owner to death or a move. They live for about 60 years and they become completely in love with their owners - when the owner dies, or moves where they can't have parrots, or just plain ole gets tired of them- they normally just fall apart. To them it is like losing everything! They will pluck their feather and mutilate their bodies till they die . There are lots of rescues that devote everything - trying to save these parrots. I have two cockatoos, they are awesome pets !

I picked up a Draco this weekend. It is classified as a pistol, so what modifications can I do without getting in trouble? I don't think I like the wood furniture, what do you guys think about a Lazer, I have RA- is there some kind of rail to make it easier for me to handle. I want to use a sling, kinda like leverage when I shoot and I really want a drum. What kind of ammo is best? Where can I shoot this in Knoxville? Might be silly questions to some but I am a lady and I have only shot at Coal Creek. Any help would so be appreciated! Oh and BTW, I also picked up a little Tec 9- same questions as above!

I knew he was crazy as soon as the video started! He choose that spot as a good backdrop (just look at those curtains) and he wore that awful shirt!! That man should be locked up! I am waiting for the video when he decides to do something "fancy " with the body!

I am a woman with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I inherited a few revolvers , S&W 629. 44 mag, S&S 60 38 snubnose, S&W 649. 38 snub nose and a Colt Trooper 357, I love shooting them all but I will admit that the trigger job on the 44 is so good I accidentally cracked my knuckle with it! Still I desperately wanted a semi-automatic , I found that a full size was easier for me to rack and the easiest one, well the only one I could rack, was the Beretta 96 40 caliber! Then I purchased a 9mm upper for it and I put a Crimson Trace on it! I think it is perfect! My only problem is I cannot change the uppers by myself! I am sure someone will have an easy way for me to do it but right now I do not have the strength for it! If you are in Knoxville area then she can try mine!

I bought the Beretta 96FS and I love it, so naturally I had to get the Crimson Trace 402M for it! Then I thought I ought to get a 92FS upper for it!! Needless to say,it is my favorite gun and now my EDC! You just can't go wrong with it! It is smooth enough for this old lady to shoot and enjoy , plus i am capable of concealing it fairly well!

I have been looking for a Beretta 92FS Upper, does anyone have any suggestions.

Sorry you are having back problems. I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 27, I am 51 now. I also have three budged disk in my lower back and damaged disk on each side of a fused disk in my neck - I broke it in a car wreck. Prednisone relieves the pain to a certain extent but it is a very dangerous drug , check the side effects, I have been on it since I was 27 and if I had it to do over I would have never taken the first pill. Drink lots of water ,walk as often as you feel you can, and if possible do water therapy. My family gave me an 18 foot swim spa and it has completely changed my life! You can swim against a current in one side or turn the current off and just exercise, the other side has loungers with jets to heat up and relax your muscles. Your local YMCA should have water therapy classes. Good luck and I will be praying for a speedy recovery. BTW I carry a full size Beretta 96 and I am a woman, I carry toward the middle so not to damage my back as bad. Being fluffy helps conceal the weapon!! But it doesn't help the back and being fluffy is also a side effect of prednisone!

Thanks guys! I love the 40 caliber but sometimes it would be nice to have the choice. Now if I could only find a better way to carry - I hate to resort to using my purse but at times that is all I can do. Wish there were more women involved daily on this forum, and there could be, can't exactly tell sometimes if they are male or female! Any ladies out there with suggestions on conceal carry with a full size weapon?

Ok, so I have the 96- do I just need to buy the 92 barrel?

Can you convert the 96FS 40 caliber into 92 FS 9 mil? I have read lots of different opinions about it and I realize that a 92 police trade in is not that expensive but I have just put the new Crimson Trace Laser on my 96 and if I could just change out the barrels and mags -that would be awesome! Anyone near Knoxville with a 92FS wanna try? Hope that I am not posting a previously asked question, I searched the forum and did not find anything.
