Finally! Problem solved! Mikes gun shop in Tazewell, TN hooked me up. He is a sig dealer and had the correct pusher. He installed them and even boresighted it for what I considered a very reasonable price. It is dead on accurate now. I will never look back at the "stack sights" again. I am very happy with my 3 dot trijicon night sights.

Thanks, but where could I get the tool if I wanted to go that route? I understand you are paying for the knowledge to an extent. I mean, I work on cars a lot, so I know the whole concept and such. The part I don't understand is this: I just want sights changed out. I mean, I'm just getting an oil change here, not an engine rebuild, right? How hard can it be? if you have the correct tool, I see how they SHOULD come out. You would pay a lot less for something simple, like say an oil change, than you would an engine rebuild. I guess I just never figured it would cost more than the sights to get them stuck on. Maby I am just way off my rocker, who knows. I don't expect something for free by any means, but I just didn't figure in that high of an installation cost. Anyway, I will keep searching and will eventually get them on. Thanks again.

Hi all. I LOVE the sig 226 9mm. It is a phenomenal firearm. However, I CAN'T STAND the 2 dot stack sights (or whatever they are called) that comes on it. So, I recently invested in Trijicon 3 dot night sights. I received them in the mail and they look great, but they say a "pusher tool" is required, or they just won't go in without breaking them. I definitely don't want to ruin my new sights, so they still sit in the package. Does anybody know of someone in EAST TN that has the "pusher" and can and would install these properly WITHOUT charging me an arm and a leg to do so? I mean, I found 1 place, but they wanted like 75 bucks to install them. Thats more than the sights cost! Am I being unreasonable? I never thought It would cost me more than the sights just to get them stuck on! Thanks in advance for the input!

Thanks guys! ya'll are great. Since it sounds like they are better than the brownells, I guess Will do an extensive search and try to get some of the pmags as cheap as possible. sounds like I could get pretty close to $10 each if I look hard enough. Thanks again.

what would I expect to pay for the "pmags" you are talking about? are the brownells as good? is the roughly $10 each a decent price for the brownells? Thanks guys, ya'll are fast!

OK, so I have been looking for a while now and am thinking about jumping into the AR game. I've looked at several, but have just about settled on a pretty nice Bushmaster with a few goodies for a pretty decent price. My main question at this point is what are good, decent mags for the bushmasters? I found a special online for 5 new brownells 30 round mags for $50. The add said that was almost half price. Just wondering if these are decent mags or are they crap? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want something I can rely on to feed dependable too. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
