I have to say, its one of the more solid, well made small guns.

I was honored enough to hold this beast the other day and that was without the bayonet and i have to say, this is the most impressive piece of work I've seen in a long time. I'd love to be at the range with graycrait pulls it out of the bag.

I'm jealous. Free entertainment of that quality is hard to come by. I'd have paid for that show. Seriously, THIS is the reason the sheeple are terrified of guns. I hope this guy gets his permit revoked for discharging a firearm inside the city limits, in addition to the cool new scar he has to show his friends.

Its a great little shooter. I put about 50 rounds downrange before it got too dark. The recoil is very manageable. My only experience with a small gun was with a Kel Tec PF9. Of course, being a smaller caliber, there was less kick. After 50 rounds, no sting or tingle in my hand. As with all DAO guns, the trigger is very long, that will take some getting used to again. And It seems to be consistently hitting the target about 3-4 inches low, of course could be the shooter. with my Glock, from 7 yards, I can put a nice grouping in a circle. This is a little more of a challenge. I'm not sure what to do with the laser, when I just point the gun and pull the trigger, the shot hits below the laser, when I use the sites it hits low too. I think I will probably NOT miss the laser if I never use it. It will be a toy and that's about it. I'll need some more range time to decide if the sites are off or (more likely) the shooter is off. However, I like it. It disappears in my pocket, it went through 50 rounds of the cheap stuff without a hitch and it has a safety. Its all that its advertised to be.

This is the 6+1 semi-auto pistol. I was specifically looking for something with a thumb safety that would slide into my pocket and disappear. Not sure how much I'd use the laser accept as a toy.

Thanks to the good folks at TN Gun Country in Clarksville, I have a new S&W Bodyguard .380. I'll post results from the range soon.

How to change a local law about knives CLARKSVILLE

This is a good thing. I will speak to a council person that I know on this subject as well. -
"I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy."

While I'm not excusing it in any way, as I remember it, part of the Clarksville situation has to do with SOME of the parts being partially run with some Federal monies or partially on Federal property. While I don't have all the answers, if a park were even partially Federal run, you couldn't carry.

How to change a local law about knives CLARKSVILLE
walton6467 replied to a topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
I talked to a Clarksville City Council member that I know, and looked at the code and yes, inside the city limits of Clarksville, the blade limit is 3 inches. I've started a conversation about how to change this, but not sure its going to do any good. -

I'm not finding a copy of the Clarksville City statutes online, but I've contacted a City Council member that I know. I'll get to the bottom of this. -

Two glocks, a Taurus 38 and 25 acres to bury the survivors. -
I'm thinking about trying Kershaw's service. My bead blasted Zing has some rust coming up on it and I can't get it off.

It does open with authority. When you flip it open and the blade locks, it kinda goes THUNK! -
Lately, I've become a fan of Kershaw knives. I'm a desk jockey and not much of an outdoorsy kinda guy, so easy of use and functionality are a little different for me than for some of my fellow TGOers. I primarily use the knife to open envelopes, boxes and to clean out my finger nails. So not alot of heavy usage and I certianly don't require a large knife. My everyday carry knife is the Kershaw Zing, which has an unusual design to the 2 3/4" blade (pic below), which was my entire reason for buying and carrying it. The Zing has a bead blasted finish and the blade sides have ridges like Ruffles potato chips. Its a neat look. I've been pleased with the heft and construction of the Kershaw. It sharpens well and holds an edge. Its easy to open and close one handed and the blade design is a topic of conversation. Besides, its fairly inexpensive, so I'm more pleased with it than with my SOG or custom made knives. Anyways, I was surfing the net and found pics of the Kershaw Junk Yard Dog II. In the pics it has a wider curved blade than the Zing and had an overall heftier look to it. So I bought it. The one thing I didn't do was pay any serious attention to the size of the JYD knife. So imagine my shock when I opened the box yesterday. I think I'll like it, but WOW. I'll read the fine print closer next time. Heheheheh

I work in a mixed Mac/PC environment. We find the price point is nearly the same for comparable Mac vs. PC hardware. Spyware/Virus problems the clear winner is Mac. When there is a hardware problem, however, the winner is PC. Anyone can repair a PC (my staff proves it), but Macs have to be sent to a Apple certified repair location or shipped back to corporate, based on the warranty. Our Dell laptops and desktops come with a damage warranty meaning that when a user pours OJ in the laptop, the warranty covers it. However, Apple offers NOTHING of the sort, so if you drop it or spill something or any other ID10t error, you pay out of pocket for the repairs.

Making the bullet curve around Angelina Jolie and a pig carcass on the way to the target.

Walmart was the first place I carried. They are gun friendly, depending on the neighborhood. In Clarksville, I've never had a problem and while I do not open carry, I have seen people carrying open and no one says a word.

But can you shoot yourself in the ass with it?
-
My Dad's best friend's son's roommate has one of these and he shot himself in the ass with it.
