  1. Maybe it was a 511 shirt.
  2. Daddy always said if you gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough. I prefer to take my example from REAL bears and just hibernate all winter.
  3. What about the Tennessee state sales tax? In Clarksville that $97 shirt would have been $106.50 after taxes.
  4. I vote for the "Preditor" laser sights.
  5. "Battle accurate"! I LOVE this term!
  6. In the event of a sociatal meltdown, I'd be happy with anything in hand, as long as my hand isn't empty. Give me a Jennings or Jiminez over NOTHING. That said, I believe Glock and 1911 can both be good choices. Different shooters obviously have different wants and needs. Like many others here, I think I'd prefer 12-17 rounds over 7 or 8, I believe in the event the world ends, when it comes to bullets, quantity over quality will be the deciding factor. My immediate thought is that in the rough, my Glock won't rust as much. I suspect I'd have more important things to do than maintenance handguns. Obviously, I don't own a 1911, but from reading here, I'm assuming it requires skills I don't currently possess. I'll stick with my pitful plastic guns.
  7. Thanks for your efforts msparks
  8. If I wasn't going to be out of town, I'd be there. I rarely buy anything but I rarely miss a show.
  9. I've lost a little weight recently and I am certain this rig would drag my pants completely down. Then they wouldn't let me in at TN Gun Country.
  10. I pocket carried a KelTec PF-9 last summer. No problems carrying. I just fell out of love with the PF-9. I traded it off and went to the Bodyguard 380. The Bodyguard has proven to be a great pocket gun. I also have a Micro Desert Eagle .380 which is a great pocket carry.

    Ruger P95

Mine ate anything you fed it. I found it to be bulky, but not heavy. I enjoyed it and have fond memories of it. Of course I traded it for my first Glock.
  12. THIS was not what I thought when I read the headline. Heheheheh I'd prefer to have the car holster beside the seat, near when my right hand would naturally fall.
  13. How do you dispose of a bullet with a setback issue? I've had this happen from doing exactly the same thing as in the OP's story. Cycling the gun for cleaning or showing it off, or just storage and re-using the same bullets over and over. I have a shelf in my office with three or four of these "too short" 9mm rounds, where the bullet has been pushed down into the casing too far.
  14. Damn lawyers. LOL
  15. I'd like to know this as well, since we all know that a discreet sign will stop all gun crime.
  16. Eagle Imports says January 1999 is the date on my gun. Very cool.
  17. I picked up a used Bersa Thunder 380 today. While its in excellent shape and doesn't appear to have been shot much, its old enough that it does not have the trigger lock built into the gun. Does anyone have any idea how old this gun might be to NOT have a built in lock? The serial number starts with a 3. Its a great shooter and I'm tickled with my purchase, I'd just love to know the approximate age for my own information.
  18. I have a Winchester 1300 that does the same thing and is advertised to. Supposed to be the fastest gun to cycle on the market.
  19. Welcome from another Clarksvillian.
  20. Thanks for the tip Dolomite, the only Locktite I have is the RED and I was afraid to use that on such a tiny screw, was afraid it would never come back out. Barewoolf, I highly recommend that any of us who carry this gun check that screw right away. Had I needed it, it would have fired the round in the chamber, but wouldn't have cycled for the next round. Up a creek without a boomstick (or boomtwig as the case may be), ugly thought.
  21. Ok, I talked to the customer service at Smith and Wesson today, I must say, they were VERY nice and very helpful. The Bodyguard 380 has a screw that holds in the laser assembly and this screw had backed out. The head of the screw was interfering with the action of the slide. I disassembled the gun, tightened the screw, reassembled and everything is working perfectly. I'll just have to know to check this screw when I clean the gun in the future. Just so you know.
  22. Squirrel Turd! LMAO!! +1 for NRA. Yes, this guy is a news report waiting to happen. I flinched twice in the first 2 minutes of the video, then turned it off.
