  1. I just got this from a friend of mine, we have no idea who makes this the only stampings on the entire gun are as follows; Receiver: "Royal Junior" in front of that is a circle with an "I" in it, Barrel: 22-Long Rifle just in front of the rear sight and back by the breach there is a circle "P". These are the only markings on there. Any help IDing this would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I could see the delima there. I haven't been riding now for about 5 months, my fat possum has just been sitting in the garage for too long.
  3. Page one says to start at 130pm, not sure how long I'll be there...maybe until I run out of bullets? I'll be there a while.
  4. I want to see someone do a stalk in sniper school with that thing...I want one, never know when you might need to destroy....well anything with that thing.
  5. I started with a DPMS trigger kit, upgraded the hammer to a TiN hammer and upgraded the springs to a pair of match grade springs. So far it's been money, not all that much of a noticable difference. The upgrades just make me feel better about the "custom" AR aspect of putting together the jigsaw puzzle that is an AR.
  6. Only for you...the rest of us can bring as many as we want to. Do we have a count as to who's comming for sure? I know it's only going to be me this time. Who's bringing what? I know last time we had a ton of cookies and chips left over. I'll bring a cooler again with ice and I'll pack it with some Pepsi/Coke and what not. I'm bringing: Mutt AR-15 (.223) XD45 (.45ACP) Stoeger Coach Supreme (12 GA) Mossy Tac, Cruiser (12 GA) (My dad has the rest of our collection with him, some will be coming back with me after Thanksgiving in prep for a potential December meet.) Anyone is more than welcome to shoot any of these, I'll have plenty of ammo: 12 GA - 100 Rounds .223 - 350ish Rounds .45ACP - 600 Rounds and I'll have 200 Rounds of 9mm if anyone needs some.
  7. I've been thinking about doing this for a while, my wife hasn't been too supportive but since I had today off I figured what better day to take on this little project. It's a 07 Silverado and I'll let the pictures tell the rest of it. Don't mind the bugs on the front, the coated site was cleaned and prepped properly.
  8. I'd suggest Native Sunglasses. They can run anywhere from $75 to $150. The nice thing about them is most styles come with both a clear set of lenses and smoke lenses, both are polarized too. I've got a pair of Native Hardtops, I've also got a pair of Oakley X-Metal Juliet, Flak Jacket XJL, M-Frame and M-Frame 2.0 and I wear my Native glasses more than I do the rest. If you can get an account with www.3point5.com or www.promotive.com they will give you wholesale prices or a discounted retail price.
  9. I've got a barrel on one of my ARs and it is just as good to me as my Sabre Defense barrel. Only down side is that I had to wait about 3 months to get it.
  10. I'm looking to get the PC version.
  11. Ive got a geforce 9800M GTS and my rig runs Crysis, Crysis Warhead and MW2 with no problems, any tech guys out there know if I'll be good to run this game on my computer?
  12. Screw the "double tap", shoot til body parts start coming off. Just remember to bring an extra bag of full mags.
  13. I would have to say my Stoeger Coach the first time I pulled both triggers at the same time. I thought I broke my middle finger...I've since learned how to avoid the pain. I've still never stuck any 3" shells down the pipes and done it...maybe on the 14th.
  14. Everything that I have read or heard about this company from "shop talk" around the local gun shops is that this company is now out of business due to a divorce, the family was owned by a family with the last name Daniels. The company was sold off to Cobray who now makes a few of the similar firearms that Leinad made. I've been thinking of getting the same derringer from gunbroker myself. I thought it'd be a fun gun to shoot and great conversation peice.
  15. Oh yea they looks nice. When I finally do get around to getting a bolt gun I expect it will be in your hands for a while. I wouldn't mind seeing something in a "helical" pattern on the bolt and handle as well, similar to this: Oh and I have no idea who's rifle this is, but if I'm going to go tacticool I'm gonna go TactiCOOOL.
  16. Looking very nice, maybe I can help you with naming them...how about Mil-Spec Tactical Match Grade?
  17. I was sitting at a light in Raleigh, NC when a newer Dodge 1500 turning left lost one of it's 20+" rims. I couldn't help but laugh at them, I don't think a truck should have big goofy rims, 17" max. It ended up being the driverside front that fell off. The Tire came to a stop in the front bumper of the Honda Civic waiting in the left turn lane of the opposing traffic. From what I would see as I drove by the rim had actually broke where is meets the hub. Crazy crap happens, I've also been behind a guy on I-75 South in Cincinnati driving along at about 70 or so when his rear axle snapped and everything from the leaf springs over came out into the median. Haven't seen too much in TN yet... only a matter of time I guess.
  18. I've had similar issues when I'm posting a thread it will kick me out requiring a log in and deleting my thread and causing to make me start over again...not too sure why?
  19. It shoots pretty good, just doesn't like to eat steel cased ammo if memory serves me right. It was still a good shooting rifle, maybe I'll bring you some M4 zero targets and we will get those irons on target.
  20. I'm in and this time I'll try harder to be there when it starts instead of being fashionably late.
  21. i could make the 14th work unless the class that I'm in doesn't permit it for some strange reason....hell might have to freeze over first but you never know weirder crap has happened to me.
  22. I'm the one holding the bolt action 20 gauge in on of NashvilleStage's upper pictures as well as shooting the M17S that Paletiger13 brought. Thanks to Bigwakes for putting this together, I'm looking forward to the next one already. Guntroll, if you want to carpool to the next one again let me know.
  23. My wife would have said neither and that she would rather take the money that would have been spent and go to Chicago with her friends.
  24. I only shoot Wolf or any of the other steel cased rounds through my eastern block/commie guns anymore. If the hammer you're using isn't working, get a bigger hammer. That little motto will work about 90% of the time. Just try and remember its a fine made peice of American made machinery, feed it crap and you'll get crap.
  25. I've made some out of some old plate armor and a plasma cutter. Never did make a clean cut and always ended up having sharp edges. Suprisingly enough, 300WM and 50BMG would go right through it all the way out to 600m. It's nice but there are places online to get it already cut and in stands for relatively cheap. I've got some of these now: Law Enforcement Targets, Inc.: F2, 42" HIGH VELOCITY STEEL RESET POPPER and these are fun too: Law Enforcement Targets, Inc.: MDHV-T DLX 6 PADDLE TREE
