  1. Congrats. Thats a good'un. Awesome beard on him too. I hunted a little while this morning but, didn't do any good.
  2. Most of mine were bought in the 80's and 90's and I clean ever so often and oil and they keep cranking away. My RCBS .38/.357 dies have had several thousand loaded in them.
  3. Have enough fun for all of us. Me and my Savage 110 .223 would have a ball on something like that. Maybe someday.
  4. Congrats. Thats a good bird. I got one about 3 weeks ago but, can't get'em to gobble lately.
  5. I hope they start back up. I hunted hard the whole weekend and never even got to set up on a bird. I'll let verybody know if I hear any.
  6. A friend at work caught 35 stripe/whitebass Saturday. Another got about 25 over the weekend. I've not been this year yet.
  7. Just got in a few minutes ago. I'm usually still out there but, I just didn't hear a gobble that was closer than about a mile. I don't know.
  8. I've said it before, and I'm gonna say it again. Looks like fried dog crap.
  9. I went this morning and stayed a long time and didn't hear or see anything. I don't know. I'll try again tomorrow.
  10. They're still not gobbling a lot around here. I saw several hens together. It seems they're not busted up much yet.
  11.  Same here. Last weekend I heard one gobbler that was fired up but, he was on a neighbor's land. Just got in a while ago from hunting a different spot and saw 3 jakes and called'em right in but, didn't shoot. Ended up seeing about 6 more but, all hens. Did n't hear any gobbling though. I'm gonna hunt there saturday morning. Good luck to everybody.
  12. Congratulations on that one. I had to run a squirrel down once and finish it off with a stick.
  13. Yeah, its his. But, it still looks like fried dog crap.
  14. A lot of people are losing their minds right now and stores are taking advantage. Capitalism is a female dog. Know what I mean.
  15. Looks pretty dumb to me.
  16. I've not looked in a while for some because I've got a couple pounds. But, the last time I bought a  can, they had it locked in a safe.
  17. Congratulations. Really nice bird.
  18. Really close up you need to have a shotgun that shoots real straight. At 10 yards or so, your talking about a 2 1/2" to 3" pattern. Real critical.
  19. i wouldn't be concerned with the sliver of lead. I've seen it many times with cast bullets. I clean my dies with brake cleaner and wipe dry. Oil some if you want.
  20. Would a .45 ACP chamber and fire in it? A .45 Mag. looks a lot like a lengthened ACP. If that would work, it would solve the ammo problem. At least if it was mine anyway.
  21. If I had a extra Mosin and it was not a rare example, I trade in a heartbeat. I'd want to look at the Eddystone first though.
  22. I've heard of this but, I'll just leave it to somebody with more time, patience, and matches. I think it would drive me crazy.
  23. Wow, he got a good bird. That's a awesome 1st turkey.
  24. I agree with what Mike.357 said. You really need a bolt tool if your gonna work on a bolt much. I put in a extractor and ejector in one a few years ago and it was an adventure..............
  25. I agree 10ga, Wall of China Mart's employees are usually working in so many different departments that most don't know a lot about specific things. But, then again they don't pay all that great, so why would a employee give a crap.
