  1. Dave: A proper weapon for concealed carry in my F450 but for the weight difference I believe a 5.56 would be lighter in ammo wise for my Mini Van!
  2. You can find ammo on line faster than at a local store.
  3. Oriental Express: That may be the case now but when I bought it 1: the price was higher and 2: the rebate did not exist. S&W is now off of my future buy list.
  4. I have 2 Sigma 9s sitting in my safe because the gun store will only give me 225 for a trade in on them. Could not get past the trigger. Upgraded to Glocks in 40 and a Sig 239 for wife.
  5. The Kel-tec 2000 can not be fired without folding out to full length.
  6. I am a couple of weeks from having my private range set up to 200Y but might find an additional 100 to make it 300. However the garden comes first this time of year. I should have the SCAR 17 by fall so I will let you know.
  7. No! I only have one for me and one for the wife and she is comfortable with it! :-)
  8. The sig 556P is a better balanced pistol than the Carbon 15 and Wife can operate the charging handle easier. I really should have brought one along the other day to show you. Check out the Sig pistol in the SWAT configuration.
  9. Robert: A Sig556p would go nicely with that SCAR!
  10. Changing out the stock on a Norinco required the purchase of a metric bolt. It was a minor issue easily corrected at a fastener ( Nut and Bolt store) None were available at HD or Lowes.
  11. I am not a bolt action fan. In Middlesboro there is a pawn shop and just north of there there are some. also in La Follete there is a sporting goods place as well as Mike's in your city. I found good prices and a good selection at the sporting goods place in London, KY but the selection may be better at South Clinton Pawn. I was in there once but probably will not go back. The price difference I found in London paid for the drive. Check out the flea market as sometimes there are some rifles there if there is no hurry. There is always Bud's online when you can not find it locally. Living about 15 miles from you I thought I would provide some places where I shop.
  12. It showed my wife living in my last house under her maiden name by herself.
  13. I still live in a house in Las Vegas Nevada that I moved out of 15 years ago and all they knew was that I was X years old. They had the street right but lost my after I moved! I am very HAPPY to be lost in this situation.
  14. Are those still available? That was the first gun I shot when they were the new Plastic gun. Many MOONS ago!
  15. The Walmart in Middlesboro might have a better selection and there is a pawn shop up there also. Long guns can be bought across state lines. I have found some guns in London, KY at the sporting goods store on 25 for a better price than in TN. The last time I was there Mike"s Gun shop had some 12 gauges for close to 100.
  16. Just our local 250 pound squirrels! ;-)
  17. Kilo: That looks like a great squirrel rifle!
  18. Having a 22 and a 27 I use the 22 for around the property and carry the 27 to town unless I need something smaller. Which would be LCP.
  19. Mossberg 590 or a Savage double barrel. I recently saw the Savage and was think to get it just for the looks. But I already have a coach gun that looks similar. Norinco also makes a knock off of the 870 at a cheaper price. The mariner version of either the 590 or the 870 were my preference.
  20. Go up to Mike's Gun shop and talk to him. He probably has something that you will like in your price range. I was just in there yesterday!
  21. Here is the web site for Uberti: A. Uberti Firearms I have a couple of their long gun models in 45lc Taurus also makes replica pistols and long guns: http://www.taurususa.com/rifles.cfm
  22. The 17 MachII ammo is cheaper but neither are much better than a 22 Magnum. I got rid of both 17 s. If I am close enough I use a 410 and further away a 223. But generally further away I tend to ignore them as the dogs keep them run off.
  23. For ammo, I found it on line but it is rare in the shops I frequent so I bought in bulk.
  24. I tried the SS with 3in 410 so it became a safe queen. I will try 45lc next time I take something out back to shoot. Thanks for the heads up on that!
  25. Crrimson trace and a Blackhawk or uncle Mikes #3 pocket holster ad you do forget it is there. yes on the mag extension but there is just a little less footprint without it. So I have an extra mag without. I bought the P238 for the wife due to the slide on the LCP. However Crimson Trace has not released a laser for the P238 yet.
