    RFB

My wife has decided to take possession of my PS90 because that is the "long" gun that feels best to her. I am afraid to let her try my FS2000 after I get the front rail to add a vertical grip. She likes shooting the STG556 but the charging handle is bothersome. I wanted something that will go through cardboard so got the RFB. The magazines might become an issue because they look like the DPMS ones but are claimed to be FAL metric. From what I have read the Poly Mags that work in the DPMS will not work in the RFB. I will test that over the next few weeks as I have a DPMS.

My "Pusher" said he waited 9 months for this and I have been on his want list since I heard about them. This should fit with my STG556, FS2000, and PS90. My pusher also wants to shoot it! I like the balance of the Bull Pup design.

  4. Try here : Rock River Arms: 9mm Upper Receivers Here: ROCK RIVER ARMS : A4 9mm Upper Receiver (739-000-013) - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools I did not think about that. So thank you for bringing it up. I have a Keltec Sub2000 9mm carbine instead. The idea of another upper for my AR in 9mm might be neat.

    TN CCW...How to?

Just stop by your nearest gun store. They will know when and where a class is being offered. Also look around because I signed up and put my money down but found 2 classes that were being held before mine at other locations.

  7. I had what I thought was a binding contract that was witnessed by two others. When the contractor faulted I was told that with enough for lawyers fees eventually I might get reimbursed but the contract was only worth the paper it was printed on as I did not have it drawn up by a lawyer so it was not a valid legal document.
  8. I have a 4 story Cat House with a sun deck roof!
  9. Good looking dogs!
  10. Good Alaskan Fishing The day after his wife disappeared in a kayaking accident, an Anchorage man answered his door to find two grim-faced Alaska State Troopers. "We're sorry Mr. Wilkens, but we have some information about your wife," said one trooper. "Tell me! Did you find her?!" Wilkens shouted. The troopers looked at each other. One said, "We have some bad news, some good news, and some really great news. Which do you want to hear first?" Fearing the worst, an ashen Mr. Wilkens said, "Give me the bad news first." The trooper said, "I'm sorry to tell you, sir, but this morning we found your wife's body in Kachemak Bay." "Oh my God!" exclaimed Wilkens. Swallowing hard, he asked, "what's the good news?" The trooper continued, "When we pulled her up, she had 12 twenty-five pound king crabs and 6 good-size Dungeness crabs clinging to her." Stunned, Mr. Wilkens demanded, "If that's the good news, what's the great news?" The trooper said, "We're going to pull her up again tomorrow."
  11. The white you see on her sholders goes around back and looks like a Princess cape. Her stiff posture is normal. Her name would have been princess but Grand daughter already has that name for her dog. I wanted names that were attached somehow for the girls so came up with Peggy Sue and the song by Buddy Holly. This one is SUE while the other is Peggy.
  12. This is Sue! She is the queen of the house.
  13. That one is my sweetheart but one day I will use her sisters' picture. That one rules the house and is our smallest dog
  14. No wonder I can not find where I left mine! The last time I saw it it looked just like that one! Never Mind! I remembered where I set it down!
  15. A long time ago in a land far away. We used Nail Polish to make our site stand out. Even some of the new florescent colors for model cars would work if they still exist. Use contrasting colors for front and rear.
  16. Find someone who has NV equip. and test before you buy. I have a problem with distinguishing different shade of the same color and looking through NV produces a blur. The wife sees fine through the weapon mounted unit which can be used hand-held.
  17. I Googled this : 'low recoil 12 gauge ammo' and got 166k results.
  18. I experienced the very same problem 3 weeks ago and now have not only a Kimber crimson ultra carry II but a Kimber SIS as well. Now that I have that ammo I am looking for a G36 to replace my G27. I just like the feel of the Glock and trust it.
  19. I have 4 Judges and would suggest 45 long colt and use the Crimson trace grip. The Ultra light is manageable and my wife along with my 71 year old female cousin have no problem shooting them. Federal makes a 2.5 inch #4 shot just for the judge and Winchester makes a 000 buck shot. If you have snakes this would be my recommendation as that is the primary use for mine. However the 12 gauge is a more versatile weapon with more options. That is what sits beside the bed. I just added an 835 Mossy that I will trick out for home defense with a shorter barrel and Knoxx stock.
  20. 2.5 in a Judge is light recoil while 3 has a bit of a kick but not much. The Ultra light has more kick and the 45 long colt is not as bad as the 3 inch shells. A 20 gauge with #4 shot is not bad but a 12 gauge is more versatile and if you look there is low recoil rounds for it. There are extra barrels for the 590 or the 500 and with a Knoxx stock the recoil is reduced. A used 500 with a 18.5 barrel and add a knoxx stock. Later you can add longer barrels. I like the 500 and 870 for the shorter barrels but like the 590 for the magazine capacity. The 500 590 and 870 have the most after market goodies available from what I have seen.
  21. My point was the 50 with the 45 conversion wold be my preference rather than just the custom 45. I was adding extra mags for both rounds and the conversion kit along with ammo. The Pistol with no name is nice but I would go the extra for the versatility. Along with model 2 for the rail. You can upgrade the model 1 and 2 finish and grips.
  22. But it is a 50 Caliber with a 45 conversion! Can you get that in a Kimber or Wilson? I could get a S&W 500 W 10.5 barrel but would need to buy pants with deeper pockets for concealed carry and a bionic arm to shoot it.
  23. With the 45 conversion and 5 mags for each the price is close to 4K! The remaining question is model 1, 2 or 3? If you are going to spend that for a pistol the least you could do is get the BIG ONE with the ability to also shoot 45 acp. That way you can practice with WWB. Where is the drooling smiley? I am getting excited thinking about it!!!!! Send the ambulance I think this is the Big one!

  25. I only purchase on-line when my local Pusher can not find it. Then I go to Bud's as they have my FFL holder listed. Now I just put my name on a waiting list and when my pusher can find it then I get it.
