I'd like to start by saying congrats! Learning to live within your means is seemingly harder than many people realize these days. If that is indeed the case I would put your surplus earnings towards the home loan. When I was younger some people always told me I "had to have good credit", keep a credit card, or a car note, ect. I NEVER bought a car I couldn't pay cash for, and never kept a credit card other than a small expense card for one of my jobs. When I was house shopping the market was in full collapse. Many banks wouldn't let me get past that I wanted to purchase my first home before hanging up or stating that they couldn't help me. When I finally found a friend who could help me apply for a mortgage he was worried I would have a bad rate or that a bank wouldn't take me since I had no credit history. He said it was slim to none that I would get approved for a loan just looking at my lack of a credit report, but you're the client so lets at least give it a try. As we filled out the application for my mortgage he got to the questions pertaining to the down payment. He had in his notes from his secretary that did my pre-interview over the phone that I had "50k to put down". He started saying that with the "min. down payment" I would need to pay for PMI insurance ect. and I said hold on, she's got that wrong I have 50% down. His ears perked up and he revised a few things on the app and said I think you may have a chance. We faxed it in and I went home to wait. Needless to say I was approved and at a very acceptable rate, but I believe I wouldn't have gotten there at that age had I had a car payment, or other debt holding me back. I've just actually completed my first mortgage last week for a friend. Investment wise nothing I've found is more rewarding than helping a friend purchase land to build on or a home. Just make sure you do it all with money you can invest(won't put you in jeopardy should you lose it all) and through a reputable attorney to register it properly with the county and such to CYA.

I've told you we have an unexplained soft spot for FJs. No matter what's in inventory I'll always find the FJs tend to make their way inside. "Crazy FJ" by Erik, on Flickr

I have lots of filament including the black PLA you'll likely want, but no orange. I'm also happy to loan a spool of black PLA to Mac so he'll have both if he wants to handle the printing sans spray paint.

Does it matter what color it is? Does it matter how much it weighs? Also how much does durability matter? I can print one in ABS, PLA, woodfiber, or bridge nylon pretty easily though woodfiber is pricy and bridge nylon though strong is very tedious to print with so I would prefer to print at least the first few in PLA due to ease of printing and dirt cheap cost. Here's the best looking model I found with a quick search. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:899083

Had a good day rum shopping. Trinidad, Barbados, Haiti, and Guyana all well represented. :)

If you have a smart phone download field trip from niantic. It's really great for killing a few hours wherever you are. I use it extensively when I travel, especially when I'm trying to find stuff to do on foot or via public transit.

I bought a decommissioned stirling smg frame to build a blaster for my tk, though it was just a decorative piece since it was far too heavy for parades and such. -
Well the wife finally got involved, I was fine with my bar being limited to a few dozen rums and a few dozen whisky's with minimal mixers for the occasional old fashioned or sazerac.(I.E. you can have whatever you want so long as it's sipping rum or whiskey) The wife finds an old picture of me behind the bar at my old house and starts wanting a cocktail. EVERY single cocktail she picked I was missing key ingredients, which led to creation of a list, and a trip to a friend's liquor store. Long story short I've gone from 4 cocktails she can choose from to a few over 700, and she can't say a word about what a bottle of whisky costs anymore. Untitled by Erik, on Flickr

I quit going to Mafiaoza's when I noticed they were posted poorly and refused to either remove it or make it more visible. Made it seem like they would rather have it both ways. Pizza perfect is tops in my book locally.

You can PM him from his profile here- http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/user/14740-john-wells/ Took me 30-45 min at his office to button it up after emailing him some preliminary information. Walked out with all I needed to file.

A Subaru rear ended me Friday on the way to work, Driver had a case of what I like to call Subris.(excessive pride or confidence in a Subaru's abilities) Not sure I could say that a Ford would have stopped, but I'd put money on it that an edge wouldn't have sustained nearly as much damage.

I filed my last couple form 1s online with my gun trust and no issues thus far. Also didn't have to jump through as any hoops such as the CLEO Sign Off. John Wells who's a member here drew mine up. It's been 10 years since I submitted one on paper, and the process was enough to make me wait until I had the trust to file another.

TEMA Declares State of Emergency ahead of winter storm
2.ooohhh replied to runco's topic in General Chat
For me it's between that and the snow plow stuck in the ditch with it's driver walking away. I gave him a ride to a nearby gas station, apparently dispatch quoted him an 8 hour wait for a wrecker to come pull him out! -
TEMA Declares State of Emergency ahead of winter storm
2.ooohhh replied to runco's topic in General Chat
Judging by what I saw while out and about, there is no hope for the general populace around here learning to drive in the snow. While stopped at my local liquor store a woman asked me what those things on my tires were? She'd apparently never seen snow chains. -
http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/92898-most-heavily-armed-states-in-america/ We figured out previously that they grabbed the registered NFA firearms in TN or at least it appears they did.

Google: Gerald Drasen, Anthony Aleo, Cynthia Aleo, or Abert Kwok-Leung Kwan. Read a few of the case notes and you'd be surprised the lengths the ATF will go to to pop you for constructive possession in some cases. That said, I have seen one in FL overturned though I haven't found documentation as to why. . .(Jesus Amador) source- http://wa.findacase.com/research/wfrmDocViewer.aspx/xq/fac.20110622_0001456.WWA.htm/qx source- http://www.titleii.com/bardwell/us_v_drasen.txt Even though Mr. Amador's case was dropped it still isn't too fun having this pop up if someone googles your name and you're a law abiding citizen. http://www.nbc-2.com/story/11011154/man-accused-of-trying-to-sell-illegal-weapon http://www.naplesnews.com/news/crime/craigs-list-crime-naples-man-charged-with-trying-to-sell-short-barreled-rifle-ep-397076593-343746452.html

It's not, traditional channels cancel content on a whim b/c their primary focus is selling advertising, not making content. Netflix's primary goal is gaining new subscribers and keeping the ones they currently have happy. That means making great content comes first by any means necessary. A typical TV network has limited prime hours in which to sell ads/air shows. Netflix has an infinite number of slots available at any time of day you might want to watch for shows as long as a certain number of subscribers is willing to watch at some point. They also have great data on what shows you've watched, which you completed, and what you turned off early b/c they sucked. Couple that with the fact they are writing contracts for new shows to hold on to streaming rights for years to come and you'll likely see more and more quality shows from them in upcoming years. OP- Wife and I loved Eureka as well as The Warehouse, and Star Wars Rebels, Clone Wars. (yes, they are cartoons, no they aren't just for kids)

2.ooohhh replied to maroonandwhite's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
The ATF certainly has too much time on their hands, if it's disapproved you do apparently start the process again, but don't take my word for it, I just read it earlier on in their newsletter about eforms. :stunned: From the January 2015 eForms Bulletin: “We cannot make changes to a submitted NFA eForm. If you make an error in the name or serial number, you will need to contact the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500 and request the withdrawal of the form. You will then need to submit a new application. Please ensure that the information is correct upon submission.” Source(page 9): https://www.atf.gov/file/11726/download In other news, after hours of reading ATF bulletins and guidelines, as well as several web guides I e-filed my first few form 1s under my new trust. . . and so, the wait begins. . . -
As a Christmas gift to myself I started the order process on my next pistol with my LGS, does that count? It's an M11A1TB that will play host to my upcoming birthday present. :)

Just an observation about hunting and fishing licenses...
2.ooohhh replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in Hunting and Fishing
No licence required to hunt on your own farm IIRC. I haven't hunted there in years but I don't believe I ever had to have a licence because I only hunted there and we owned the property. You only need the licence/safety training to hunt on others/public land. -
Grandfather was but he passed away before I was old enough. :/
