1. Vehicle tax in our county is terribly randomly enforced. I paid $100 for a 1971 VW bus sans motor that I pulled out of a farmer's field and they want to argue that it's worth at least $2500, I roll in to get a title for a 2003 BMW with a blown engine that I picked up at scrap value and they are fine with listing/taxing the $200 paid on that. (I had paperwork to back both purchases up)
2. Which jobs? The jobs producing bikes for overseas markets?
3. So in your opinion was the V-rod "just a publicity stunt", or a way to gain new market share previously untouched by HD?
4. There are a lot of HD riders looking to be seen on an expensive bike the louder the better it's all about the attention, I feel HD will always make bikes to cater to that crowd. Then there are those who just enjoy the experience of being on 2 wheels and want to be able to ride whenever they can for as long as they can. That second group is FAR more accepting of new tech if it extends the ride from what I've seen, they were the first I saw shell out $$$ for daymakers(LED headlights), the first to welcome fuel injection coming to HD bikes, and will likely be the first to really embrace an electric HD bike and put some real miles on it. Harley has been around a long time and has made many adjustments to their path, the livewire isn't ending their current lineup only joining it eventually if there is enough interest. It's no different then them adjusting to real or perceived market desires during any other time period in their history.
5. My experience has been the same, all my 9mm in 30 cal cans top out between 950-1050.
6. Talk to the pastor/church, as some will not allow flash photography during wedding ceremonies, others won't allow cameras/photographers in the chapel at all during services. (200mm f2.0L to the rescue!) If you need a flash I would rent a few for the event over buying the one.
7. The actual syllabus is below. I'm not a lawyer but it looks to me as if Oh Shoot is correct.(as usual)   http://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/13pdf/12-1493_k5g1.pdf
8. Really jealous of all that extra space in the engine bay after spending most of the weekend pulling and reinstalling a friend's 996tt motor. "Extra" space wise there's about a 1"-2" gap around the entire engine trans combo to allow for removal. There's just something you have to love about a classic American car's engine bay.
9. I have a couple, one is a cube, and one that is more like a soccer ball. Both have hundreds of hits of assorted .22, .223, 308, and 300 blk. and still work fine though the lighter .22 and .223 don't really move them much and the rifle calibers remove small chuinks of material occasionally. Most fun we've had yet with them was setting up some old hoops from a croquet set in a rough line about 6-10 feet from each other and slightly to the left/right of the one before. Then we would set the round "soccer ball" target out in front of the first hoop and take turns trying to get the ball to roll through the hoops to score points, or to make it harder for the other guy to get it through on their turn. The game gets progressively harder since the ball is constantly rolling a little further away with each shot. We've even played where the first few hoops must be played with pistols before switching to rifles to add variety. The cube is great for simple centerfire pistol training up close, or rifles a couple hundred yards out since it will visibly move with each solid hit.   Cube   Soccer ball (was cheaper at academy though)
10. I was lucky to learn with a straight razor before my grandfather passed away after which I inherited his which I still use to this day anytime the wife wants to have "date night". It's a little more tedious than a DE razor though so for daily shaving after college I picked up Merkur 180(34c w/long handle) which I've found pairs well with Derby Extra blades(Sweden) that I order a few hundred at a time to get them cheap.(at $5 per hundred I likely won't need anymore this decade) I typically use Prorasso Eucalyptus and Menthol soap but I have several higher end creams I use occasionally that family members have given me as gifts.

Well it must be ammo then, b/c whisky and ammo are the only 2 consumables I think i would want enough at a time of to order a pallet.  :pleased:
I can't tell you TGO folks what it really is, or many of you would want in on the deal and it's already spoken for by about 40 people... Maybe I'll post the details next time we order it in bulk...
A barrel of whiskey will nearly fill a pallet. . .
13. Hate when companies tie contests to facebook, good luck to those who can enter.  :yuck:

Non-NFA SBR?

If you need a longer LOP KAK makes a spacer set for their buffer tubes that can space the SB15 out even further.
15. Faster glass is the fix for kids and indoors, the cannon 50mm f1.8 is the best at your budget, though I prefer the f1.4 myself b/c it's got a much better manual focus ring.   http://amzn.com/B00007E7JU
16.   Weatherradio from iMap for android and iOS is pretty impressive, the best weather radio app I have found. It's is great for quickly finding local alerts when your traveling and may not know what county your currently in and allows very precise control of where you want it to alert you. (I dropped a pin on my house and it lets me know if a tornado warning encompasses around a square mile surrounding my house rather than going off if a warning is issued for Spring Hill at the opposite end of the county from me)   Developer's site- http://imapweatherradio.com/   iOS   Google Play
17.     ^this, my kit is very similar to his this with a few exceptions/substitutions, though I am also anti-IV in most settings. I've made decisions on each particular medication stocked with regard to what else is around my house and my specific training in the use of some of them.   For example I keep Atropine on hand, not because I'm worried about terrorist nerve gas attacks(that's just a possible side benefit, I guess) but because I frequently use an insecticide around the house which contains an organophosphate.
18. Not sure how many were made at the time, but mine is a 19-4 in the 50yrs of service THP commemorative presentation box.
19. I think that's the same problem some of the police departments have tracking these guys as well. . .
20. No, these days it's easier than ever to bounce a call through multiple VoIP providers and obfuscate the source. When I'm on call I "turn on" a 3rd VoIP number that I give to my clinical staff that forwards through google voice(to block spam and telemarketers) and then to my home phone. If I'm not on call they get a line disconnected message, if I'm on call it rings my cell and home land line simultaneously without them ever actually knowing either real number. Outgoing calls are easier since you can bounce calls through several country's phone systems using VoIP for only pennies a minute making obtaining information VERY hard for local law enforcement.     Add apps line "burner" for iOS into the mix and even kids that aren't technically inclined can do it. :stunned:
21. Yep. I use 2 of them to set up DOCs(disaster operations center) for the Red Cross, each controls 2 HDTVs as monitors to display our mapping software(windows based) and information key to deploying volunteers. In the case below I carry 2 mac minis, an apple TV(for wireless presentation of data from iphones), all cords(2x power and 4x HDMI), a bluetooth keyboard, bluetooth mouse, laser pointer and a handful of thumb drives. All can be quickly and easily carried on to a plane when I deploy.
22.   Running windows applications has gotten easier and easier since the switch to intel processors. No VM needed these days in most cases.  :woohoo:   http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/
23. Also you can essentially buy a new mac mini every year selling the 1yr. old one on craigslist and often loose little if any cash. They hold their value better than any computer I've ever owned. You can also do quite a bit of home recording in garage band(included free with new macs) with VERY little cash outlay.
24. That's a business decision, not b/c of a law. If a large percentage of their customers were requesting shine they would stock it, though I for one would never drink unaged whisky when there are a competent selection of better whiskeys already on the shelf. There is apparently enough interest for several distilleries to offer it in liquor stores now though. Buffalo Trace White Dog comes to mind, though I haven't personally tried it.
25. No experience with Knoxville area, but I can second the Airave being great if after the fact you find your home to not have good consistent signal.
