We made our own when I was younger, 10-12 foot high in a rough "U" shape. All it cost us back then was some time and diesel for the bobcat and the tractor, the dirt was previously arranged as motocross whoops and jumps in the same field.

In again, this was great last year.

Having spent time in Seattle, Portland, and all along the Oregon coast I can firmly say that while it might someday pass here it will be a MUCH harder battle that it was out there.

I-594 was on the Washington state ballot, they have their own breed of crazy out there, independant of Washington DC.

I snagged a 16" CMV premium upper(FN Barrel) and BCG for $388, IIRC it was a blem but I couldn't find any blemishes on it anywhere. Upper- $279 BCG-$109 PSA blem lower -$59 Ptac Blackhawk LBK-$69 BCM gunfighter CH-$25 (only part on this rifle not from PSA) Umbrella Corporation Grip 23-$15 Total cost of build- with all discount/black friday/crazy deals parts(less optic or rear handle)- $556(a hair over $600 with shipping and transfer fee) It's been a great range trainer/truck gun.

Wusthof Classic here, passed down from my Mother, looking at them you would never guess that they are 40+ years old even though I used them professionally for a few years in college working in a restaurant. Haven't used any others but wouldn't trade my set of Wusthof's for any other knives I've seen.

"Shall not be an unlawful user of or addicted to alcohol or any controlled substance and the applicant has not been a patient in a rehabilitation program or hospitalized for alcohol or controlled substance abuse or addiction within ten (10) years from the date of application;" DUIs are the least of your worries ATM, inpatient rehab is your biggest concern. Sorry but it looks like it will be February 2019 until you can obtain a permit legally.

2.ooohhh replied to Peace's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
I have the same tool, but not manufactured by geissele if you would like to use it. -
I can bring it to work with me of you are anywhere near vandy during the day.

What kind of belt do you wear with your holster?

The hanks CCW belt is slightly thicker than the small screwdriver blade on a victorinox Swiss Army knife. -
I much prefer actual security via guards, lockboxes, metal detectors, ect. to the BS security theater such as sticking a gunbuster on a business's door and assuming we're all safe now that there are no guns here thanks to that handy sticker. :squint:

If everyone is required to go through the metal detectors/security and they gave me a locker to properly secure my legally carried handgun I wouldn't have an issue. This is how many courthouses(no court in session) handled it when I entered them armed on my previous job and it's certainly better than being asked to leave it in the car which means I'll be walking to/from my car unarmed.

99% sure I have one in my spare AR bits bin from a rail installation. Happy to check when I get home tonight and you're welcome to it.

LOL, signed. My dogs would have gotten a pat on the head and a duck dinner. Ducks are fowl, not pets. -

I can measure it when I get home, but its thick enough to not sag when loaded but thin enough to work with all my holsters. Lots of gun belts are stiff in both axis, where the Hanks are supple in the axis wrapping around your waist and the holster but significantly stiffer in the opposite axis when it comes to drooping laterally. All while not as stiff as belts such as my beltman(horsehide) and some with internal stiffeners(my older 5.11). -

^this is my favorite carry belt, followed closely by Hank's CCW belt. I wear my beltman horsehide belt 5 days a week(it's classy looking enough to wear to work) the hank's typically on weekends. I've found I prefer the more supple Hank's belt with jeans and IWB holsters such as my alien gears or my crossbreed. I always choose the beltman belt for my OTW holsters since the stiffness seems to support my gun much better. http://www.hanksclothing.com/amish_belts_ccw.html -
I'm a bit more worried that I was at the beginning of this thread, but I have to add that ALL the media is making it worse then it should be. Even the NEMJ pushed scheduled articles back and stuffed this weeks digital edition with more than 60% stories about ebola.

If you guys should ever find yourself in New Orleans I highly recommend taking a day to stop by the WWII museum. I had a blast checking out the exhibits but the best part was chatting with a few vets that were there for an event later that day. Some information on the restoration of the b-17 above.

There are more starting to turn around, it just takes the correct communication. I'm currently working on a restaurant owner off belcourt who was AMAZED when I asked politely if he would take the sticker off the door. I said, "Oh it's no problem if you don't, as it's your right, I just need to update you in the database. . ." He came over to my table and checked out the posted! app and was shocked to see how few of his competitors are listed as posted. Apparently the girls that gave him the free gunbuster sticker were telling him that "all the restaurants on belcourt are doing it." It sounded like a bad 1990s PSA on peer pressure and drug use. :stunned:
