  1. Had someone tell me they had to jump up and down in their seat to start the Honda. Funny. Replaced ignition switch to fix. Very common.
  2. Just finished "The Devil's Anvil" about the battle for the island of Peleliu in the Pacific. In the middle of "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell.

    SHTF

Obama has followed through with a lot of what he promised. So I am waiting on his "civilian army" to come looking for all of us. I am not a trained survivalist but I think I could be an asset to a group for my other skills. I can fix things. SHTF and I am headed to a friends working horse farm, and try to get used to horse meat. Protecting the assets of the farm will be a job left to those who will. I think I can help there too.
  4. Sounds like a great trip. Count 2 more in.
  5. Never got to see him live but have many cds and the Austin City Limits DVD. Helicopters, thousands of parts all moving in different directions.
  6. We talked about (in carry class) participating in an argument that escalates into "fear for life" is not grounds to pull your piece. Although you do what you have to do. I took with Jim Carter. He said a good way to show is the bottom of your holster buy moving your shirt. That way the other guy can not identify your gun. Or even know if you have one in it.
  7. I have been through and got an awesome behind the scenes tour with an engineer. Did get to fire the 50 on their little indoor range. 100 yards I think. Neat to see racks of Barrett rifle's lined up to ship.
  8. I think there are perks with joining the Garand Collectors Assoc. when dealing with the CMP. My uncle is a Garand collector and writes some for the GCA Journal.
  9. There is a Saundersville ferry rd. also. But Blue Moon is on Sanders Ferry. Haven't eaten there yet. Will have to give it a try. Watch your gps's on these roads, they might take you across the lake to Mt. Juliet.
