  1. I was 25th overall and 9th most accurate. Thanks to all the guys. We need to figure out the jewelry store stage in order to make it work, and try it again.
  2. Here is a link to the story of the jewelry store heist, written by Massad Ayoob. Lead and diamonds: the Richmond jewelry store shootout - The Ayoob Files | American Handgunner | Find Articles at BNET
  3. I sent an email to mine(Black) about not voting yes for this bill. Didn't hear anything back. I got a message on the answering machine(unrelated i'm sure) about an electronic town hall or something.
  4. Music City Tactical Shooters has a Zombie match September the 3rd in Dickson. Should be fun.
  5. I am looking forward to see how big a mistake it was to shoot Sharpshooter in the classifier.
  6. I see the peek-a-boo target in there. Looks like a lot of fun.
  7. The 16 inch guns on the USS Alabama are 45 caliber. I think it is 45×16=barrel length.
  8. I would have went for an imaginary "phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range."
  9. Sometimes they will mention all the mail they get if they don't check it. The cop in the Ohio video says "Glock Forty". Who says "Glock Forty" anyway?
  10. All men are created equal, but if they choose to not do any of the above, I guess I could go for this. We don't want to go towards serfdom. The bullet tax would have cost me about $3000 extra this year. Hobby killer right there.
  11. I have been looking for a reason to come to the other side. Bowling pins sound fun.
  12. While you are healing from the gun shot wound you can rack up another 1000. LOL
  13. I do not want the hammer/primer strikers job.
  14. Very nice. Gallatin Gun Club's calendar is tied in with Google. So adding dates to your phone's schedule is just a click away. Another idea. JeffsSig did a gun shop map. TN GUN SHOPS Maybe one of those with the local ranges on it.
  15. It's not funny. I think Tim C's kid beat my time. LOL In my defense, I had never even seen them shot in person and I did go first without complaining. Too much. Tim C. and one other guy made them look easy. I learned a lot anyway.
  16. Had an awesome time today. Steel is a lot of fun. Texas Stars will take some practice. A lot of practice. But I was on target through the rest of the match.
  17. The kids and I went to the 3D midnight movie last night. Huge crowd. Everything sold out. We had "fandangoed" tickets earlier in the week. It is really good. The dialogue is somewhat cliched. The action and fight scenes are well done. The kids loved it. I give it 4 out of 5.
  18. I'm trying to get some friends to come. They don't no what they're missing. Kevin bring that book with you please.
  19. I bet it was fun. Where did you scare that up?
  20. You can shoot in the 10 round class but I bet no one does. I am shooting my M&P, 17 rounds, one mag in gun two on belt and another, just in case, in my pocket. LOL!! May have to get another mag holder and a couple of mags. They said people had to leave and get more ammo during last years match.
  21. One course of fire(COF) is 32 rounds minimum. Shoot until all steel down. Then there is the "Texas Stars" COF--only 14 rounds. No telling how many it will take me .
  22. Hey Robert I think this is what you are asking. SSP 10 round max mags, must fit in IDPA box DA, DA/SA, Striker, 1911 single stacks. IDPA gear placement, iron sights. (Combination of SSP, Production and Single Stack) Minor PF – ESP hi-cap mags, race holsters, pouches, belts, iron sights, Major PF – CDP hi-cap mags, race holsters, pouches, belts, comps, optics, Major PF
