  1. I design a lot of our stages and the boundaries and safe points make my head go wonky. And forgot about learning new commands. I'm sure it will be "Shooter Ready" for a long time. For me anyways.   And I just want to quote this bit of "fabulousness" again;
  2. Exactly. They seem so intent on not being USPSA--that they are making up foolish rules.   Here are three easy ones. Wear concealment. Shoot from cover if available. Slice the pie. The pie is sliced(no need for cover)when every target is shot at. If you are in the open be moving--either shooting, reloading or getting to cover.(Or fixing your malfunction)
  3. I thought transfer on a pen gun AOW was only $5.
  4. Nice to have to aboard, Joe.
  5. After seeing AO's video I am even more mad I missed. I think this is my favorite format for a match. I have came down with a case of the shingles. It sucks and is quite painful. I hope you guys liked the stages. Please thank Dale when you see him for setting up. And big thanks to Lagerhead for coming out just to help. See you at the Glock match
  6. Rick and Norma, who are both Master Class shooters, usually take the new and inexperienced shooters in their squad. They are amazing teachers and can keep you on the right track. There is absolutely no pressure while under the timer to hurry out of your comfort level while shooting. And no need to wait for a beginners class or match. All the MCTS shooters are eager to help if you ask. It is really an amazing group of people. You will feel at ease, safe and welcome no matter what your skill level.
  7. Welcome to the board. Pretty good crew from Hendersonville here.

    RUSH

    I hear they have a pretty good drummer. ;) I have seen them years ago and they are amazing.
  9. Striker guns in one class. DA start and SA start in different classes. Speed loads. More no shoots per stage. Each hit on no shoot counts. I really want to be able to drop mags but don't think that will happen. I'll settle for speed loads.
  10. On May 4, 2013 MCTS will host an Introduction to Competitive Shooting Match. This match is geared towards exposing you to the various disciplines we shoot at our range. We did a similar match on Feb. 2 that snowed quite a bit so we decided to try it again.   We will make every reasonable accommodation for new--safe shooters. Please ask in this thread or PM Hognut, Lagerhead, GSBell, Catseye, rbrooks65, or 9mmNorma if you have any questions or concerns.   The match course descriptions will be posted on the website soon. It consists of two "Run-n-Gun"(USPSA)style, two IDPA, one GSSF(Glock Match), one Speed Steel(Steel Challenge) and one all steel stage.
  11. I find a few now and again. Seems like Dolemite likes them.
  12. There are a lot of stories about taking it apart and baking the mother board in the oven for awhile to set the solder joints back together. Probably worth googling and trying.
  13. I think DJ has a red holster.
  14. Natchez had primers today, but can't be ordered from TN, GA., or AL. I guess because of there location. I was excited for a second.
  15. On stage one Jim got a procedural for dropping a cartridge. When the stage is over Jim pulls it out of his pocket while Hognut is looking for it on the ground. Jim is magic! Of course as cool as this was it was completely overshadowed by King.
  16. Incredible! I laughed till my sides hurt. The stages were great and we had an fab squad. I shot like crap but still had fun. Thanks King!
