  1. Great Match! Turnout was good. And all the help was Amazing! I had a great squad with itchy and fireball and some local cops and EMTs. Steel is fun and can be humbling. More humbling for me today.
  2. I haven't shot in a couple of weeks, so I am looking forward to it.   Steel--instant gratification.
  3. Just saw the scores--great turn out.   Looks like Tim C. wound up second overall. Fancy shooting with a single stack.
  4. What? No scores yet? I hope everyone had fun and the new shooters come back out. It takes a lot of work to design, set up, run, break down, and score these matches. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help out today.
  5. Vacation is weak.....leave now and you can still make it! Should be several women there to keep Carla talking. Vacation has been much nicer than expected. But I will miss you guys Saturday.
  6. Dale is the best. He should be on here. You guys have fun and be safe.
  7. I try to mention TGO in my shooters meetings. And if I remember our handles. It is the best place to see what is going on at the local clubs.
  8. Double tap. While I'm here. Membership starts over Sept. 1. PM me for details.
  9. Music City Tactical members can practice on second Saturday If one of the BOD is there. Usually Lagerhead. Please if you are a SAFE shooter and ready to have fun, come shoot a match. We will make sure you have a good experience.
  10. If you have only traveled up the turnpike you will hate both the sight and smell of the state. But there are plenty of beautiful places to see. Friends that live up north have bear trouble.
  11. We change up our fourth Sunday steel matches but usual do a Steel (like) Challenge a few times a year. Please don't let the thought of running stop you. Even next Saturday's Run n Gun would be fine for you. Shoot at your own pace and if there are any shooting positions you don't feel comfortable with, we will figure out something. The run n gun is also good for new shooters because there aren't many rules to follow. Be safe, have fun and shoot and reload at will. If you want to come out and watch, that is fine. Being your gear though because watching sucks.
  12. It's sad to see someone wish something like this on anyone over a box of ammo. Also surprised to see some of the people that "liked it". It's an exaggeration. And it is funny.
  13. I would like the "experts" to shoot the course for a baseline. If you don't know who Taryn or Spencer Hoglund are and haven't seen what some people can do with a gun--you would call trickery. Taryn can shoot a plate rack in just over two seconds FROM THE HIP! That is off the timer. So, reaction time, draw, and shoot. Spencer can smoke any old lever gun or single action pistol. And is amazing with an old lever shotgun.
  14. Ben(Been dyac)Stoeger's guns were denied last year flying to a class he was putting on. He is the two year running USPSA production national champ. I'm quite sure he was doing right. I wonder if the numbers reflect situations like that.
  15. Broox is a plumber. Very nice guy. I know him from the range. Stay at home dad who works on the side.
  16. You will notice they will slowly start introducing drama to the point most of us will quit watching it. All the big shows lately on Discovery and History are very informative the first 1 or 2 seasons and then they introduce drama to the mix and quit being as informative and the show becomes more about the people instead of what it originally was. Ice Road Truckers, Son of Guns, Ax Men, American Guns. Pawn Stars. Heck, even seeing drama added to Pickers. This year everyone is running out of money.
  17. I watch also. Last show with the 63 Vette seemed more scripted than usual.
  18. Caught SP primers from midway Friday using gunbot.
  19. HERE is a link to the Classifier course and layout.   It is 90 rounds exactly but bring extra in case of malfunctions. No cover garment required.   Hope to see you there.
