My 1000th post!!   Time for another Zombie Match. November 16th at the our range in Dickson, TN. This will be a super fun and challenging match. USPSA style rules on reloading and shooting with IDPA scoring. Zombies targets will get one to the head and infected targets will get three anywhere. Also a lot of steel poppers and head plates. All skill level shooters are welcome to attend as long as they are safe.   Set-up begins at 7:00am. New shooters be there by 8:30am for new shooters meeting. Regular shooters meeting at 8:45am. Shots down range by 9'ish.   The night match will begin at dusk. Try to be back at the range by 4:00pm. Almanac says Sunset at 4:38pm and twilight at 5:05pm.   Stages will be up shortly. Here is the first stage description;   SCENARIO: An experiment in Quantum Entanglement has led you to what seems is an alternate universe. Your lab is overrun with the mostly and almost dead. You will need to find  a weapon and  ammo. There is a weapons cabinet across the hall and ammo is stored throughout the lab.  

So, first stage for my squad(4)--shooter starts retreating and firing and his mag falls out. He jams another in and keeps going and finishes the stage. When he is done he is bleeding from a cut on his lip and his hand has powder burns on it. He had an over charge(or something)on his 1911. Blew the mag out. Blew the grip half in two. Got a frag in the mouth. AND HE KEPT GOING!  It was awesome.

Super fun match. Forgot about three on stage four. But really shot well on the rest.

That's my concealed gun. Back on topic. Maybe being a fanny pack on stages like that. Or a European carry all. Going to not kill kittens but what would you grab out of the night stand? And the big question, where would you put the stuff?

I can't believe anyone would need over two or three.   Although there is a good feeling that goes with carrying an xDM. 20 rounds exactly.

I will be there. I was a "probably not" and then a "definite maybe". But now a "most likely".

Junk. What kind of person would shoot something like that.

ESR shooter I'm my squad--no problem for him. I think he hung them on his pocket.

I'll be on stage four. Zero down and clean gets you a candy bar.

Regular match scores are done and emailed out. Michael is at the range getting ready for the Cup Match so they won't be on the website for awhile. The next match is our sanctioned match--The Music City Cup. After that on November 16th will be the Zombie Match with a Night Match later that evening. Both should be great matches. The Zombie match is a fun match. Run-N-Gun,wide open, outlaw match--with a lot of head shots.
