  1. I took PackinMama's advice and ordered a kholster and I'm glad I did. I've since ordered a second one for a different gun, and may be ordering a third one soon. I've owned dang near every kinda holster known to man and I think the kholster is the best deal. Not to mention that Jimmy (the owner of kholster) has top notch customer service! The crossbreed is a great holster, but you're gonna pay more for it.
  2.
  3. ME TOO! Now that we both have learned that, maybe we should get 'em together for a play date or something! The shaking has finally subsided. Glad to have TGO back. I'm still not sure about the redesign, but I think I'm gonna like it when I get used to it.
  4. You don't need all that stuff when you have a RRA t-shirt!
  5. I appreciate the tip, but it doesn't fit in my situation. The tree isn't close to the power lines. :-\
  6. Thanks for the input guys. I just had one guy out here who does tree work on the side (he is licensed and insured) and he quoted me $425 to clear out all the dead stuff and "open the tree up a bit". I'll definitely be getting a few more quotes before I decide.

    Welcome!
  9. Welcome to TGO!!!
  10. Last year, the wife and I flew down there for a little vacation. We stayed at The Palms in Miami Beach. Nice hotel, on the beach. I'd give it 2 thumbs up. I'm not familiar with the layout down there, so I can't say whether or not it's close to the game site.
  11. I have a HUGE pin oak tree in my front yard, probably 100 feet tall - the base being about 5 feet wide. It badly needs someone to come look at it and trim it up so that I don't have to worry about it dropping limbs on the cars / house during storms. I'm about to get in contact with some folks to come give me some estimates. It needs probably 6 or 8 dead branches removed up in it, and maybe (I'm guessing here) another 4 or 6 removed just for safe measure. At this point in my life, I've never had any tree work done. Can anyone give me some idea of how much $ I'll be looking at? Just a rough idea is all I need. Does it normally run $80 to $100 to have a big tree cleaned up? Over $1000? Help me out here. Thanks!
  12. Been searching the internet and this is what I've found:
  13. Keep us posted on how it goes!
  14. Why don't you offer to head out to the range with him and shoot up that 250 pack? If he went with you, I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't feel so guilty and you may even help him restore some of his faith in his firearms. And if he refused, it'd still help with that pesky guilt factor. Just a thought...
  15. Yep. But sadly, there are some who believe we shouldn't be going home if it requires us to kill, injure, or hurt the feelings of someone else.
  16. Does the delivery guy that got bit have to take a two week suspension as well? I'm sorry, but Domino's policy for a non-at-fault accident is ludicrous.
  17. Dang it y'all. It's rather difficult to re-roll tin foil onto the little cardboard tube...
  18. And if you made a special model with accessory rails, someone would buy 'em...
  19. I may be grabbing my roll of tin foil a little quickly here, but this could be bad...
