  1. Well said, sir!
  2. Really diggin' the "AR-15 style"!
  3. Yep. Go to account in the top right corner, click on "account settings" in the drop-down menu, then click on "deactivate account" at the bottom of the page.
  4. Not much sport required in this one. Do we still get our IBTL points?
  5. True.
  6. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/blogs/suntzu/53-so-what-does-contact-11-eleven-1-mean-anyways.html
  7. Jack, is this the feeler before the "Group buy??" thread?
  8. Come to think of it, I've never heard "contact!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!1!!!!!" in a war movie. Strange.....
  9. +1 on Booyah's. The owner is a great guy and you've probably never had a burrito quite like theirs! I hate that they moved to Collierville. They used to be in Bartlett and I'd eat there on duty all the time. Welcome to Memphis! Holler if you need anything! We TGOers tend to look out for each other around here!
  10. If you'd like, I'll take you to the range and you can shoot my work gun. You'll renew your appreciation of the Glock trigger!
  11. :bowrofl:
  12. The airlines have different rules. Exactly how the ammo is stored depends on who you're flying with and their policies. One carrier (I think it was US Airways) allowed me to put my loaded magazine in a mag pouch (inside the locked container with the firearm). A different carrier (AirTran, I think) required the ammo to be separate from the magazine, so I had to put it in the original cardboard box I bought the ammo in. Legally, as long as the loaded mag is in a pouch in the case, it's ok. But some carriers won't allow it. Always check with the carrier first.
  13. Are ya feeling better now? I've often wondered the same thing.
  14. Much cheaper!
  15. I'm on the wrong end of the state to help you find a gun shop, but I can say welcome to TGO!
  16. Welcome to TGO!
  17. That makes sense, doesn't it? Unfortunately, the government rarely does anything that makes sense...
  18. Enlighten me, please. I'm not familiar with the P64. The one I just ordered will be my first.
  19. Awesome guys! Thanks for the info. I just ordered one from SOG today!
  20. I know that State Farm (who I have) only covers $1,000 on the homeowner's policy. They'll write a separate policy for firearms. It's not too expensive and you can get as much coverage as you need. May want to call and check with your insurance agent.
  21. Welcome to TGO!
  22. Welcome to TGO!
  23. Hilarious! XP is the way to go! I have Win 7 on the laptop, so I try not to use it very often...
  24. TCA 55-50-333 says that you must update your Driver's License within 10 days of moving. Yet TCA 39-17-1357 says you must notify them within 60 days for a HCP. You'd think that by updating your DL (same number, same issuing agency, etc.), it would automatically update the HCP as well. Maybe it does both at the same time when you attempt to do one of them? And like the previous posters said, you don't need a new HCP reflecting the address change. The main reason the address change is required is so that the Dept of Safety has your correct address in the computer and can send you mail if there is action taken against your DL or HCP. They do not forward mail. Half the folks I arrest for driving on a suspended license had no idea they were suspended because they didn't update their address and never got the letters from the state telling them there was a problem.
  25. Wow. I had forgotten all about that show!
