  1. Best of luck to you!
  2. So what you're saying is that, since you're not done, it could end up being more than 5?
  3. You ain't got that thing working yet??
  4. The train was quite crowded, and a U. S. Marine walked the entire length looking for a seat. The only seat left was taken by a well dressed middle-aged, French woman's poodle... The war-weary Marine asked, 'Ma'am, may I have that seat?' The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular 'Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat.' The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under that dog. 'Please, ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired. She snorted, 'Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!' This time the Marine didn't say a word; he just picked up the little dog, threw it out of the train window, and sat down. The woman shrieked, 'Someone must defend my honour! This American should be put in his place!' An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up, 'Sir, you Americans often seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your cars on the wrong side of the road. And now, sir, you seem to have thrown the wrong bitch out of the window.

    Off-Road 4x4

Keep the Exploder as your daily driver and buy a late 80's or early 90's Toyota pickup 4wd. They're hard to beat when it comes to off-roading - especially in their price range. Very light, hard to get stuck. If you can get one with the 4 cyl 22R or 22RE engine, you won't have much trouble out of it. Personally, I think the Toyota 22R / 22RE engines are right up there with the Jeep inline 6 as being some of the best engines ever produced.
  6. I understand what you're getting at here, FG. There's nothing illegal about refusing to answer questions such as that. However, I personally take it as an insult when someone does so. If I feel insulted, I'm not gonna cut ANY slack. You can forget about a warning for anything. Insurance card expired yesterday? It'll be on the ticket. Don't have your registration papers with you in the vehicle? It'll be on your ticket. Window tint is at 30%? It'll be on the ticket. Horn won't blow? It'll be on the ticket. And I'll most likely call one of the K9 units down to run the car while I'm writing the ticket. I've never had a situation with a HCP holder like you described and don't think I ever will since most HCP holders I've dealt with are good folks, but above is how I've handled similar situations with other folks in the past. Granted, most people I've dealt with who refuse to answer questions were less than model citizens and trying to hide something anyway.
  7. Can't wait to shoot mine. I got the Wolff springs in yesterday. I went ahead and bought the Wolff recoil spring. It came with a new firing pin spring in the package with it. Are you supposed to replace the firing pin spring along with the recoil spring?

    That's a good looking rifle!
  9. I wish I lived closer. I'd take you up on your offer. Wouldn't mind trying out the Gen 4.
  10. I rarely take a firearm. However, if you were dressed like your avatar......... Glad it was a decent encounter.
  11. Funny "DRT" story. My wife is a Paramedic (we met working together on the bandaid bus many moons ago). She got her Paramedic license at UAB and worked on the ambulance for several years in the Birmingham area. Down there, when a patient refused transport, they'd go in-service on the radio with "PRT" (Patient Refused Transport). Well up here in Shelby County, TN, we would say "Patient DNT" on the radio for "Did Not [want] Transport". Well my lovely wife was having a heck of a time remembering all of the little different things we do here in Tennessee. We made a very minor scene one day (I don't remember what the complaint was, but it was something stupid). The patient decided to go to the hospital on their own. My wife keyed up the microphone and advised the dispatcher "Unit 21 in-service - Patient DRT". Dead silence on the radio...
  12. Can't say I'll miss you. Especially not after that post. The very same day you posted your ad, you were informed in post #4 that you are supposed to be a benefactor to post ads. Personally, I would have edited the ad by deleting the content of the post and then relisted the items in the classifieds section after becoming a benefactor. Ignorance is one thing. Without being familiar with the site, anyone may have done what you did. The ethical concern I have is when you were advised and still chose not to correct your actions. My momma raised me better.
  13. "There ain't much callin' for a one-legged ninjy"
  14. Strange doesn't even begin to cover those videos. I only watched the "spoons" episode. Couldn't bear any more... :-\
  15. Ummm. Ok.....
  16. Well, if he did have a shot at that, he can give it up now. I'd imagine that once they hear of him wanting his tattoos altered, they're not gonna think so highly of him.
  17. Glad you got it. It's easy as pie with a sight pusher, ain't it?
  18. What a tard. If you're "man enough" to get a hate-filled tattoo on your body, be "man enough" to go to prison with it. What a douchebag. Daniel Cowart asks court for tattoo alteration | jacksonsun.com | The Jackson Sun
  19. Ummmm. Ok.
