Apparently, for those in the business, resoling isn't too tough to do right. I've had boots resoled at a few different places and they all did outstanding jobs. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anyone in Middle TN, but I'm guessing that anyone up there who has been around for a while will do a good job.

Yep, she's the one. I've heard tons of good stuff about her and not a single negative comment. I'm usually pretty nervous with anything eye-related, but I felt confident with her.

So far, the lasik eye is going great. The eye that they did PRK in is still quite blurry and looks pretty wicked -

Southern Eye Associates - www.southerneyememphis.com They're always running specials. Either May or June, it was 50% off for First Responders. Other times they offer 50% off if you donate ($300 I think) to their mission work. Can't get their website to come up right now, but there's some good info on it.

With me, the hot blonde w/ bigguns gets a little more consideration and often leaves with a warning citation. However, crying is a sure-fire, 110% failsafe way of getting a ticket no matter who you are.

I thought I was in a similar boat. Wife went to cook dinner last night and the (gas) stove wouldn't work. When the thunderstorms passed, I went out to look at the gas meter. Low and behold, I had a new meter. One call to MLGW and the gas was back on in less than an hour. I was just thrilled I didn't have an appliance issue!

Yep. I thought about that once upon a time as well...

IMO, it isn't pretty, but it's pretty reliable. Hence the analogy. However, I have to say that Oakland's S&W Webley doesn't look too bad at all. I guess it's the British models I've always associated w/ the Webley name.

If they send out print cards with the packets, I'm sure they're used to getting some back.
