The criminals are always using common carriers to do their dirty work. The closest I've come to being the victim of identity theft was through a fraudulent UPS account. I had to deal with scammers opening an account in my name and sending out counterfeit USPS money orders and counterfeit checks to their partners in crime across the US. Imagine my shock when I started getting return envelopes from UPS that had labels that appeared to come from ME! Opening them up as they came in, I kept finding counterfeit stuff. Had to call UPS to close the account (that I never opened!) as well as file a police report to cover my ass.

I'm not saying that they should build a mosque there. Personally, I'd be happy if all of 'em fell off the face of the earth. I'm just saying it's not gov's job to stop it. If they did, how could we expect it to end there? What if our Muslim (oh that's right, he says he's not ) president decided tomorrow that he'd start dictating where the Jews built synagogues?

What exactly does everyone propose we do to prevent this mosque being built? I have to admit that I haven't exactly been following this story. I've been catching bits & pieces about how our politicians should be doing something about it. This is America. The gov has no right to tell someone they can't build a church, mosque, synagogue, etc anywhere they want. That's protected by the same freedoms that Islamic terrorists hate. Do I think that it is sickening that they want to build a mosque there? Yes. Do I think it's insensitive? Yes. Would I expect vandalism and other sorts of crime commited against the building and those worshipping there? Given the (understandable) hate that many Americans (expecially NYC'ers) feel towards Islam, probably so. I don't care for Islam one bit, but I'll stand firmly for their right to build anywhere the same as I would for a Baptist church.

Nope. Nothing can go below 35% except for the factory tinted glass. And then you can't put anything over it. Also, I think you're confused about what the percentage means. "35%" is the VLT (Visible Light Transmittance). That is the amount of light that comes through (65% is blocked). 15% is darker than 35%. This is the exact wording from the TCA - "Any motor vehicle bearing commercial license plates". So basically, if the tag has a little "H" in the number it's ok. There are other commercial tags, but those are the most common.
