  1. As little as possible.
  2. I'm speechless. The fact that these people walk among us scares the hell outta me. How hard must one try to lose ALL common sense?
  3. Awesome! I hope there is continued improvement.
  4. I used to think it was best to vote for the lesser of two evils. Then I realized... it's still evil.
  5. Yeah, they're awful guns. Should you find one, immediately package it up and send it to my house for "proper disposal."
  6. Shoot, at least you can shoot them at an indoor range. In Memphis, you're stuck with "AR Night" at Range USA where you have to shoot their expensive frangible ammo (and that's ARs only) or you can sell your first-born child and join MSSA. We feel your pain here.
  7. Yet another reason to add to my list of reasons not to run.
  8. I tried to watch that show. Several times. Just couldn't do it.
  9. Also, here is a link to the 2011 hunting guide that has the current regs. http://www.eregulations.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/11TNHD_FINAL_LR.pdf
  10. I believe that you will need a license (and proof of Hunter Safety class completion - or the apprentice license). As far as carrying the handgun at the same time as the rifle, I think you might be okay seeing as how hunting coyote with a handgun is allowed (no FMJ ammo, though). I'd strongly suggest that you either contact the local TWRA officer for the county you'll be hunting or call the TWRA regional office and ask them. The game laws in Tennessee can be extremely confusing and I'd rather get the info from the folks who are enforcing those laws. Also, the TNdeer.com forum has a "TWRA Questions" area where confirmed TWRA employees will come and answer your questions. Good luck on your hunt! Kill 'em all - I can't stand yotes!
  11. Either one of those looks like great values for their price range.
  12. Something he saw once on some toilet paper, no doubt.
  13. I've been known to occupy a Starbucks while working...
  14. Oh, fear not. When you become a life member, they don't stop asking for your money.
  15. Yep, I did it last year, too. Thanks for the opportunity, Reservoir Dog!
  16. If it is, we'll NEVER hear about it.
  17. Yep, I agree with Dave. I'm no Colt wheelgun expert, but it looks like an early Detective Special.
  18. The Bartlett PD gun is correct (P226), but the caliber should be .357 Sig, not .40 S&W. Also, University of Memphis Police carries the same P229 DAK in .40 as Memphis P.D.
  19. I used to order from them quite often, but haven't placed more than 1 or 2 orders in the last few years. The warehouse thing usually ticks me off. I'll find a few things that I want and all three are at a different warehouse and will cost me $35 to ship. I end up buying elsewhere.
  20. Yeah, mine loves playing the kids games online and I have no problem letting her. Like I said, I ain't worried about her looking for inappropriate material, just worried it might find her. But it'll definitely stay in a common area. No way is she gonna get a computer in her room.
  21. Just goes to show that the same problems exist no matter which carrier you use.
  22. I was expecting a package UPS yesterday. About 6pm, there's a knock at my door. It was the old lady from one street over whose house shares the same street number as mine (just different street name). Seems the big brown truck visited her house instead of mine and left my package on her porch. I know it wasn't my usual UPS guy as he and I are on a first name basis and he's used to coming by almost daily. I understand that the couriers are extremely busy this time of year, but it seems like this exact thing happens at least once per year. It'd be nice if they could incorporate some kind of GPS signaling into their system so that when they scan my package as delivered, a little alert comes up that says "Hey dumb*ss, are you sure?" Had the little old lady not wanted to do the right thing (as so many don't nowadays), I could have been s*** out of luck on my purchase.
  23. Thanks. Yeah, the PC has XP and I have two user accounts setup (one for the kid, one for the times my wife wants to use the PC). Now, I just gotta go back in and figure out how to change the privileges on the accounts. That's something I've never had to deal with before.
