  1. Welcome!
  2. Thanks - that's right up my alley, alleycat! Of course, they sure are proud of it. $110! Ouch. Decisions, decisions...
  3. Nice one, Whiskey!
  4. I just don't agree with the methods. It's essentially policing for profit.
  5. My favorite part:

  7. There are usually a few other places online to buy the ranger ammo at about the same price that don't require you to be a FR. But, if you only need a box or two, $30 "out the door" ain't bad.
  8. They're sold out at the moment, but this is who I bought my last few boxes from: RA45TP 230 gr 45 JHP +P T-Series (Box of 50)
  9. Maybe. Apparently there is a douche in Florida with the same name and DOB as me. And apparently, he doesn't like paying his bills. Every time I turn around, I am getting some sort of annoying communication from one of the cyber-ninjas who is so skilled at finding peoples' contact information that they find me instead.
  10. I agree, David. Of course the only folks I feel sorry for are those who are being wrongly harassed by the bill collectors. I don't have much sympathy for the many people who simply feel they can ignore their obligations.

  13. There were probably 100,000 who didn't even read the question...
  14. I'm not going to comment with respect to the legalities of the OP's question since that's not an area of law I deal with. But, one thing I'd add, and I mean no disrespect to any TWRA officers, but there's one thing I've noticed when I've run into them while working. Most of them seem to use a little less "discretion" when dealing with situations. I've let many a minor infraction go with nothing more than a stern warning. I've never observed any slack from TWRA guys. Even as an LEO myself, I'd tread lightly when dealing with "gray" areas that they're responsible for enforcing.
  15. Last Tuesday President Obama got off the helicopter in front of The White House - carrying a baby piglet under each arm. The squared-away Marine guard snapped to attention, saluted and said: "Nice pigs, sir." The President replied: "These are not pigs. These are authentic Arkansas Razorback Hogs. I got one for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and I got one for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi." The squared-away Marine again snapped to attention, salutes and said, "Excellent trade, sir."

  18. That's the answer I got as well.
  19. I have a 9mm AR with a .750 barrel and it has no front sight. I'm thinking about adding a front sight tower just because I think they look better than some sort of flip up sight on the free float quad rail (just my opinion). I know that front sight towers don't come with any holes drilled in them for mounting. I don't have to worry about a gas tube or anything since it's a 9mm (blowback operation). How hard is it to drill the sight and mount one? Can I find someone who changed out to a different gas block and use their old one on mine since I just need it as a sight?

    9mm AR question

I dunno. I got my first ever 9mm AR today. I was told it has a .223 hammer in it because that's how Spikes Tactical rolls. I'm confused.
  21. Yep. Good way to get them used to coming into your area and near that trail cam so you know what you've got in the area.
  22. For the record, I most definitely would not need any rum... In the words of Mike.357, "I'd..."
