  1. I'm still getting error #1026 saying that I can't edit my profile.
  2. Tried to click on "View all birthdays" and it told me I don't have permission to view the calendar. Chrome on Win7 if it matters.
  3. I'm here. I like the new look. Glad we got rid of Crimson... wait...
  4. Like Lester said, we are lucky because there are a ton of great options out there. The best flashlight I own is a Fenix. Also, for the money ($30ish), the Streamlight PolyTac LED is pretty good. It's what I carry at work.
  5. I doubt you'd regret making the switch. I LOVE my Uverse service.
  6. Reading the thread title, I was afraid you had some kind of tiny tree-hugger engine.
  7. Regardless of the forum I'm currently logged onto, starting a thread is a poor way of notifying me of such a pressing issue. What if I'm only halfway through the classifieds when the fire breaks out?? I hate it when people ruin a decent post by commenting with their lack of humor.
  8. Sweet. Join the group - http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/groups/tgo+amateur+radio+operators.html
  9. And in response to the original post, yes, I am one of the many hams here on TGO. We actually have a group for ham radio operators. Johnnyfox, good luck with it. It is a great hobby. It can get expensive, but you can also get into it fairly affordably. Like most hobbies, the sky is the limit on how much you could spend.
  10. The suffix has nothing to do with geographical location. The format can have clues to licensure level (in some cases), but the number represents geographic location. This link has the regions drawn out: eHamRadio - Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) Callsign Regions
  11. I stand corrected and I apologize. The only time I've seen someone ask something be expunged, it's been after conviction. Glad you were willing to explain something to us...
  12. Saw this linked on Facebook and found it quite hilarious. If you're familiar with Dave Brown and WMC-TV, you'll likely agree. The Dave Brown Severe Weather Drinking Game! The Mid-South Severe Weather Drinking Game
  13. NY has a "Civil Liberties Union"??? Where the $%^& have they been for the last 20 or 30 years?!
  14. I believe there's a form at the gate. It asks if you've ever started a thread about religion on a non-religious forum. If "yes", you're cast to the demons for creating disorder, panic, and despair.
  15. Can't help with your question, but I can say thank you for your service and stay safe over there!
  16. If we're getting technical, I believe that only a conviction can be "expunged". I've seen a lot of people petition the courts for expungement - not one would I say has "earned" anything. They're merely begging the courts to take a screw-up off of their record.
  17. While I sympathize with your situation, sounds more like a d-bag manager than a terrible chain of stores. I hope you took up issue with management above the store manager. While I was in high school, I worked for Kroger for a few years and was always treated very well. Boycotting the entire chain over one terrible manager would be like boycotting TGO because one of the members is a butthole.
  18. This. You have "new bills" that are things that have never been charged before that the grand jury has investigated and you have the bills that have been bound over through a general sessions court (either through a warrant, a citation, or a summons). The ones that have come through a general sessions court were either found to have probable cause in a preliminary hearing and bound over or the defense waived the preliminary hearing on a not-guilty plea and had the case bound over to the grand jury. Regardless, the grand jury is required for felony charges (and some misdemeanors) to make it to trial. If there is a guilty plea or deal worked out, it can be disposed of in the general sessions court. Without a guilty plea or a deal, though, the prosecution presents it to the grand jury.
  19. Don't be silly. They need cable. You gotta have something to do when you're sitting around not working or looking for a job. /sarcasm
  20. So sorry to hear this, Gerald. I'll be thinking of you and your family and I extend my condolences.
  21. That's smart customer service. I doubt the customer would have entertained a purchase if the clerk had looked at him and said "Dang, you are some kind of retarded" as I would have done.
  22. Far less than a hospital bill or a line-of-duty funeral.
  23. No, tea parties are frowned upon by that bunch.
  24. No, they haven't reopened it and I haven't heard of any plans to do so. There is some team (not LE) that has permission to shoot there, but it's been so long ago that I heard about it, I can't remember who it was. I wish they'd open it back up.
