  1. I like your stitching. I've never tried my hand at anything kind of leather work, but from others I've seen, it seems like the stitching is the hardest part. Yours looks excellent!

Might have to check into that one.

    Kel-Tec KSG-12

Some good info in that video, but I find "nutnfancy" hard to watch.

Well, there goes any chance of my wife liking it. She likes my baby Glock, but has a hard time racking the slide. :-\
  6. That's hilarious! Thanks for sharing.
  7. Man that thing is purdy! You did real well!

    The Gun Room

That's the rule at many gun ranges. Can't say I blame them either. Who wants bubba coming in there with his homemade "special ninja killin" ammo and running it thru their $500+ handgun? It'd be nice if they allowed factory ammo in their guns, but having people purchase at their shop removes any doubt.

Yes it is. Dang y'all are really tempting me to pick one of these up...
  10. That's pretty neat lookin'!
  11. Yeah, they sent out an email Thursday or Friday about it. I *think* it said shipping was free if you spent over $100.
  12. ^^What he said!
  13. Another plus for CDNN - shipping for internet orders is regularly a flat $10 no matter what you order. With some of the email specials, they'll offer $5 flat rate or free shipping.
  14. Sounds promising. Any idea how long it'll be before you get opened up?
  15. Well if you don't want a suppressor, that's fine, but I don't understand going in the complete opposite direction... Keep us posted. I've always loved the middys and that one looks badazz.

    Changing History

That's a hard one. There are so many places you could go that would completely and drastically change the face of the world as we know it today. But I like Dave's way of thinking!
  17. Could have been. It seems that, for a little while there anyway, Remington had some quality control issues on much of their ammo. In addition to the .22lr problems, I had purchased a couple thousand rounds of 9mm and .45ACP Remington UMC FMJ ammo and had many of the rounds loaded very inconsistently. Had some that were obviously loaded very hot while others made me wonder if the bullet had exited the barrel. From what others have said, this has improved, but I've been reloading for the last couple of years so I haven't tried any new batches.
  18. Aim Surplus did have some used G23 mags for $15 (which is worth the extra $2 for good CS even if Aim's are used - IMHO), but they've sold out. They still have G22 mags at the moment for $15 if anyone is looking for G22 mags.
  19. I've experienced the same results as OhShoot.
  20. Yep. Looks like my G30, which is the fatter version of the same gun. You're good to go, kp.

    Silver?

I understand inflation, fluctuations, etc. Whether the silver goes up or the dollar goes down, it's gambling as far as I'm concerned. My mortgage payment is due in dollars, not troy ounces.
